WORST EXPERIENCE EVERR IN AMERICA!! They dont follow neither the standards nor the generosity of American owened restaurants. If you dont receive what you ordered, they dont offer you anything as exchange. Portions of beef are too small in a soup, and that guy server is the rudest person weve known here in Burleson. We complaint about the portions of food and he laught at us and then he said Youre putting more words in my mouth. Managers are rude too and yell at you if they dont like your complaint. They dont deserve to be supported by good customers cause they dont appreciate it. Thats why their restaurant is always with a lack of costumers. Yo can go to Panda express instead or another Asian restaurant, they treat you with dignity, and they follow the American standards.

Ive been eating at House of Pho for about 2 years and have never had a non-pleasant experience. The house special P1 is really good, highly recommended. Add to that Thai Tea with pearls and dinner is served. The tables and floors are always clean, customer service is great, very attentive. I really like this place and will continue ordering from them for the foreseeable future. My only criticism would be with having no delivery options. It would be nice to allow DoorDash or any other delivery service. Currently its dine-in or pickup only. Update: Today I ordered 2 P1s and the taste was slightly bitter and and the noodles werent cooked/ tougher. This happened once about 3 to 4 months ago, and I thought it was a one-time thing. Its eatable but if it was my first experience, I wouldnt go back. Not enough to change my review at this time.

The staff was great, I am a semi regular customer and I tried to order something new (Kung Pao Chicken) and it was absolutely disgusting. The food was very bland, the chicken did not taste good at all (it honestly didnt even taste like chicken...I had everyone at the table try the chicken and they saod the exact same thing. It was bad and didnt taste or feel like chicken and was flavorless) everything I ate had no flavor, and the rice was kind of dry. They have a new policy in place that they couldnt take the food back so I was still charged and didnt eat any but thats fine. Honestly after eating a bite I got nauseated and felt like I had food poisoning I didnt even want my sweet tea. (FYI I have eaten other food by them that tasted really good. This was my first experience having bad food at this place. And honestly the overall experience made me never want to come back.) Wish the staff could move to another location because I like them a lot, and I hate they get backlash for the way the owner has decided to operate the store. Some of the staff can be a little condescending and rude overall they were much better than the food. TL;DR first time I had a really bad experince. Staff was great but food was horrid. Honestly I do not intend to come back.

Been going here for four years, each time my kids love this place. Today Sept 29th they officially lost me and my family as customers, I ordered extra meatballs for my soup knowing full well I was gonna get charged extra, but when u try to sell me a soup with 4 meat balls then u talk to the staff and he swears he put 12 meat balls I feel like the math does not compute? Also a customer can request to sit in a both if wishes.

Ive talked with them several times about their V1 beef tasting just like leather and chews like leather. I highly recommend not choosing beef but the pork is pretty good. Ive let the managed know a couple of times this is an issue and no change. I really like coming here but it just doesnt seem like they care about their customers comments for how to improve, especially lately. I have been coming here since theyve opened no other good place to go thats close for Vietnamese cuisine.

If I was rating on the customer service alone the only good was our server whom used to be the manager. We found a hair in our springs as soon as service started, but we tried hard not to judge and keep our hopes up. The crab rangoons were actually good however I had the beef and noodle pho and it tasted off, I had all of maybe five bites? Really tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. The meatballs tasted frozen and looked like a mystery meat in it and the flank steak was unflavored and tough. The whole dish tasted so bad I wanted to puke. I told the nice serve and asked to switch dishes because I really wanted to like the food, I ordered a new dish and waited. The server came back and said the manager and owner were going to make us pay for beef noodle soup anyway because I ate most of the meat. I had five damn bites! He tried to get us half off and they said no. So I cancled my second dish and ended up paying for a bowl of soup I hardly even touched. All they want is money and they don t care about your experience.

We had high hopes for this place. We wanted to order to go, but their phone number doesn t work, so you have to go in to order to go and then wait. That was fine, whatever, we waited. We got our food and then headed home. Halfway home, I moved the bag and the cup that had the pho broth burst open because it had a drink lid on it. It was contained in the bag, but wasted half our broth. We got home and start taking everything out. The drunken noodles were soaking in oil, more than usual. The fried rice was okay, but very bland. The veggies were very hard, as if they hadn t cooked them. Same for the pho, the veggies weren t soft, it was like they just chopped them and put them in. The worst part was the noodles for the pho. They were not fully cooked, and they smelled like they d gone bad. We couldn t eat the pho, and we barely finished the rest. It was a complete waste of time, money, and food.

I am a regular customer here at the house of pho for some years now. And I always enjoy my food whether take out or eating in at the restaurant. The employees and manager there are always wonderful and nice place to just eat and relax and enjoy the great food with whoever your eating it with . My always go to are the passion fruit boba, shrimp spring rolls, lemongrass vermicelli bowl, or lettuce chicken wraps. This is always my food for my pregnancies, after labor, & postpartum and so on . Just shows how good something is, just always going back and popping in with my new child. So hope y all give it a try and enjoy it as much as I do !!

We were impressed from the moment we walked in. It was very clean and inviting. We drove 54 miles to try this place out and were not disappointed. We were greeted by the waitress Wen (probably now spelled correctly). She was so pleasant and friendly. We were even greeted by the owners son, probably 4 yrs old I m guessing, he shook my hand and had a big smile. She seated us and asked for our drink order and when she brought the drinks she was so pleasant. She took our order, answered questions we had about an entree and when she brought the order it was exactly what we ordered. We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls as an appetizer and they were delicious. We ordered Pho shrimp noodles and kung pao shrimp and they were both very delicious. We will definitely go back again and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank y all for the great experience.

Worst service ever. Always felt welcomed and inviting until today because my daughter sat herself down and we followed. Server come over and scolded us not polity but boisterous and visually pointing at the sign at the door to wait for seating. Which I understand but he didnt have to do it in the manner that he did. Then to be rude afterwards that we left and he was huffing as I paid to leave.

Very nice staff. It was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered a pork bahn mi and spring rolls for take away. When I got home I started with the spring rolls that were rolled sloppy and were a little bland. I worked through to the second spring roll and found a huge hair. I didn t try the sandwich after that. This is an unfortunate experience.

Had a really good experience here. My friend was an hour late to our lunch, because we mixed up addresses. The servers were very friendly and personable, and kept my sweet ice tea filled while I waited. When my friend finally got there, the food was served quickly and was very tasty. Im not sure what our waiters name was, but we enjoyed talking with him, and all the other employees were helpful and polite as well. All-in-all, we had a really great experience at this establishment.

I have been coming here about 5 or 6 years, one of my favorite places. But today will be last time I ever step foot in this place. That little twerp (seen in photo) had the audacity to lecture me about asking to sit in a booth vs a central table. I was the only person in the restaurant at the time. He belittled me and talked to me like a child. I have zero tolerance for that attitude in the service industry. I will be letting all my coworkers know this place has gone downhill and persuade them to avoid it.

I love the wonton soup, I pickup some two or three times a week!!! But today for some reason they used pho broth and the wontons are stuffed with an unknown meat, absolutely no shrimp in the mixture. It s unfortunate to give this place such a terrible rating, bc the food has been really good the two times we ve come here. But the wait staff and their customer service has been terrible both times. They come off very rude in talking to you, they don t come by to ask you for refills, and basic common courtesy is non existent. Our waiter had her AirPods in while she was talking with us, never said hi, just asked if we were ready to order. It makes eating at this place uncomfortable bc the staff is so rude. My family and I come here on Saturdays in the afternoon. We order the same thing 2 of Q6, a large vegetarian noodle soup and 1 strawberry lemonade drink. This week we came today. At first when we first started coming here we were aware of the sign at the entrance that says to wait to be seated, but I can t remember when was the last time we had to wait to be seated, since the last time we were told to seat where we wanted. Since then, we just come in and sit almost every time in the same booth. No body has said anything to us since today. There was this man that I had never seen before that approached me as my husband and 2 children were waking towards the booth we wanted to sit and he had this look his face like if I had done something wrong to him and asked me if I had not seen the sign. I felt disrespected by the way he was taking to me and in any way appropriate to talk to a customer. He didn t even let me explain why I was leading my family to a table of our choice. But I did had to mentioned I didn t appreciate him talking to me the way he was which made no difference to him because he kept his attitude. We decided to stay because my daughter wanted to eat the noodle soup, otherwise we d have left. As we were eating we saw how other customers came in and sat where they wanted without this man telling them anything. We are always greeted respectfully and unless busy, our food comes out pretty fast. We enjoy not only the food but the customer service which is why we are still coming. My husband did not like how we were treated so after paying our meal, he asked this man to explain him why other customers were not told to wait to be seated. His response was that this people were regulars and that he in fact had seated them. Which was a lie since we saw them waking and siting and saw this man not telling them anything. My husband wanted to talk to the manager about our experience and this man told him he was the manager and refused to give his name. Even threaten my husband with calling the cops if he didn t leave the restaurant for trespassing. Also threaten him to tell the other managers to refuse us service next time we come in to dine. My husband was only wanting his name and ignored us continuing to deny giving his name with absolutely absurd attitude and conduct. Very disappointing that this man turned out to be the manager. This man refused to act as a manager which is why I felt it is only appropriate to write this review publicly.

The guy who took our order was very nice and attentive. I ordered mixed veggies and peanut sauce on the side, I repeated I only wanted then mixed veggies with the peanut sauce. We got home, 30 minutes later and I had a different sauce on my food. I was so disappointed. I called to let them know and to ask what type of sauce they had put on my order, of which they only apologized and did not offer anything else. I wont be returning here, and please check your order before you leave.

HOP is one of those rare places that no matter what you get, regardless of the day and time, is always gonna be delicious. The food is always burn your mouth hot (temperature), which is a good thing because you know its made fresh. The service is always great, the servers recognize me from how much my family, friends, and I frequent the place. The atmosphere is basic, nothing special and I believe its perfect for the vibe. Pricing can vary from fair to cheap and the food doesnt reflect that. Its damn good quality and also delicious. Highly, highly, highly recommend this place. Burleson has needed a restaurant like this for decades. Recommended dishes: House special pho, egg rolls, House special vermicelli, wonton soup, fried rice, lo mein. Honestly, everything on the menu is worth recommendation. Just try it, you wont be disappointed and youll fall in love with this place like the hundreds of others that keep coming back.

My first time here, and my first time eating Pho and spring rolls. Very clean, we were seated right away, they have a large selection on the menu. I ordered the meatball and eye round steak Pho. Kenny, the owner is an incredible person. In today s time it s always surprising when the manager comes to check on your experience. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and my mother ordered the chicken fried rice. I really liked the design of the walls. It reminded me of Viatnamese culture and it gave off a relaxing ambience. Ive never had chicken noodle soup this good. One sip of the broth made my tastebuds explode. The mix of the design of the building and the taste of the food made an excellent dining experience. Vegetarian options: There was a large section of the menu that were vegitarian options.

I only had takeout, but my short experience with putting my order in, and speaking with staff was enough to know that this place is great! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The kitchen makes everything taste incredible. And the front staff are so friendly and make time to have a conversation with you. Since moving here last year, I have been here so many times and haven t had a bad experience with the food or service. Today I ordered the pho to go and the portions are always consistence. They pack enough food for two people. Definitely a restaurant you should consider trying! Parking: Dozens of spaces to park in. Restaurant is in a shopping forum. Plenty of shady spots. Kid-friendliness: The kids plates are big. I easily fed both of my children with one plate.

It was my 1st time eating here. A lot of people had recommended this restaurant. They had great service and Pho! I ve never had a big bowl of Pho like that! Their spring rolls were delicious and so was the Thai tea and delicious lemonade. I definitely gave it 5 Stars! Vegetarian options: My husband is a vegetarian, so he is able to eat here without any meat in the dishes. Parking: It s a great location and plenty of parking. The parking has some trees, so it helped get some shade from the 106 temp outside. Kid-friendliness: The place was not loud. The person that attended was followed my instructions for my child not wanting any vegetables in her Pho. The person was friendly with my child and very respectful.

For where this place is, the food is fine for what it is. Pho wasnt very flavorful or filling. I got the combo pho and it came with four small pieces of meatball (that was cut up from half a regular sized meat ball) and a few overcooked steak slices. The shrimp spring rolls were okay too. The restaurant itself is nice and big and the service was quick. Overall, dont expect an authentic bowl of pho here. Go to Arlington or the Dallas area for that. But if your pho craving hits and you dont want to drive too far, this place will kinda satisfy your cravings.

Great food and service. Fast and attentive waitstaff. Simple dining, nothing fancy. Pho is plentiful and tasty. Noodle dishes are large and there was plenty to share. Unbelievable! I ve been to this place plenty of times, but tonight was absolutely horrible. I went there with my husband, baby girl and brought my nephew and his girl there for he first time. We were enjoying our food until we was told that we had to leave because they want to go home. I understood that it was closing time, but there is a better way to say it. Long story short I will not be returning. Bad customer service. Male cashier has an attitude. No knowledge of menu. Not vegan or vegetarian friendly. Meat options lackluster. Overpriced. Food is basic. I spent $95. I m Vegan & some of my family are Vegetarian and others eat meat. This was my first time going here. So I asked questions about the menu with the cashier, he had a huge attitude. I asked if they offer tofu, he said no. For myself I ordered the no meat noddle soup. There were only herbs, 1-2 veggies, & noddles -basic (pictured above). Where are the other vegetables. I thought this place would be a unique Vietnamese restaurant to try for my whole family. It was not. We order noddle soups & cali spring rolls and peach teas. Only good thing that tasted ok was the peach tea. Edit: I had to cook some vegetables at home to add some content to the dish. The broccoli, radishes, carrots, & tofu are homemade. Vegetarian options: If you are Vegan or Vegetarian I highly recommend going somewhere else. Yeah so my and my husband just got trespassed from this location and threatened with a Charge over trying to pay for our drinks and calling the staff out on their rude behavior. We sat down at 8:05 and ordered $10 worth of drinks and an appetizer. We re car shopping so after we ordered we were discussing important details about the purchase. 2min later our waiter comes back and asks if we re ready to order. My husband said we need a few minutes we re car shopping, to which he said well were closing at 9:00pm I need to get your order in. We felt rushed so my husband said never-mind we will just leave then if you re trying to rush us out the door. We attempted to pay using the tap feature and you could hear a beep, but it didn t go through. We were already waking out the door and the staff became hostile. My husband walks back over and says to the waiter (manager) that he doesn t need his hand signals and let him handle the business with the cashier . The Waiter(Manager) took his final form and revealed his credentials and told my husband that he s the manager and that he could trespass us while we re trying to pay and complaining about being rushed at our table as for the reason we re leaving. My husband said ok, well if you re trespassing me I have to leave and can t pay then. As we are walking out the manager becomes aggressive (previously was) and said if we walk out we will catch a charge. Needless to say the Manager has anger issues as well as others I don t care to mention here. Dear House of Pho: if you trespass someone who is trying to pay and the transaction fails you ve released them of their debt and they have to leave. Didn t think it through. Great ice coffee tho.

i ve been here 2-3 times in the past, and i would always get the same thing. the pho thin sliced steak/filet mignon. this place did NOT taste or feel fresh at all the meat was almost rubbery and not tender, the broth wasn t all that flavorful. the best thing was the noodles, but it s kind of hard to mess that up. i ve had plenty of pho at other locations that knock this one right out of the park.

We tried House of Pho again after not visiting for about two years. The food is still delicious. Large P4 pho bowl with Sriracha is excellent. We always get the pot stickers and pork spring rolls too. Everything is always hot and fresh. Sodas are in the can, so no refills, but cold and served with a glass of ice. Im pleased that they are still as good as I remembered.

Changed this review since my most recent experience. Never going back. They changed the size of their coffees then denied it and said it was the same size. 6 dollars for 3 small sips of coffee. I speak to the manager and he tells me thats how its always been. If you want Vietnamese iced coffee with boba, go to Pho Em instead. Its made fresh and you get an actual cup of coffee.

Customer service was decent, but the food is way too expensive for what it is. The food isn t as traditional as it s supposed to be. The Bahn Mi meat was sautéed with all the veggies AND CUMIN? I ve never had bahn mi like that, and I ve eaten at genuine Viet restaurants. It was extremely spicy too. The bobba was hard and not chewy at all. The fried egg noodles were OVERLY salty and dry. The crab rangoons were UNDERCOOKED, the dough looked pale on the bottom and tasted soggy. Not coming back at all. It was disappointing and not worth the $60 for two people.

Pho, spring rolls and taro smoothie was very good. HOWEVER, we got there at 7:50pm on a Sunday (closing being at 9pm) and they started mopping early at 8:30pm while we are eating. Which I understand people have lives and want to get home. But we finished up by 8:50pm to make sure we werent there past close. On the way out one of the workers asked us to go out the other side of the door because they had already locked up which is fine so we decided to go to the other door as he asked but the worker who mopped emerged from the back and yelled at us and said dont walk on the floors I just mopped. I was a little taken back by how rude he was to us. I would like to say that there were not any yellow wet floor signs posted after of mopping and we were leaving before closing. So none of this should have happened. Disappointed on how we were treated.

The food is pretty good. But they are super-stingy! I have to order triple meat in my pho to get as much as I do in a regular bowl at other pho places. If you order your stuff to go they really hate giving condiments and will charge you if you ask for more than the 1 little container of each. They have a Please wait to be seated at entrance and a waitress just looked at us and said we could sit anywhere. Then, no one approached us and the manager that wears the print masks comes over looking at us rudely and tried lecturing us about sitting down because they don t know if were eating there. Get it together and don t go off on customers.
