Great service. The food was good. Nice atmosphere. 1st time at this new one. Havent been to a Cheddars in years! Ill be back! **** Update 9/29 came in with my sister. We both ordered salads and baked potatoes with our meals. We had to remind our server to get our salads, and she blamed it on the shift change. (Still server is responsible) Then I received mashed potatoes with bacon cheese and sour cream and not a baked potato. Then she had to leave for her second job. Well, finish the youre on first, please. The server that took over gave us cheese cake for the inconvenience. Still, I was a bit disappointed with the service this time.

The food was just ok but I stepped away from my table for just a few minutes and my wallet was stolen. No one including mgmt had a clue as to what happened. They wouldnt let us see the camera footage or anything. All said was they didnt see anything. They apparently from other employees theyve had several other customers done the same way. Ill never go back and Ill make sure others dont go either

Terrible. Had to ask for everything from missing dinner items to refills. Was brought wrong drinks. Sides missing, some sides sent out wrong. No empty dishes were removed from our table, including the initial incorrect drinks that were delivered. They all stayed the length of our visit, in our way. They werent busy at all so that was not a reason. We are an easy 25+% tip for two people when service is good. We tipped 10% tonight which came to a whopping $4.68 because although I feel our waiter was inexperienced, he was nice and did eventually bring the items we had to ask for. Stopped on the way out to inform the manager on duty. They cant fix it if they dont know it needs fixed. He tried to appear to care, but didnt. They also do not disclose anywhere written or verbally that either the chicken fried steak is cooked in bacon grease, or the gravy is made with bacon grease. Revolting. Last visit.

Went last night for my little cousins birthday, definitely do not recommend doing if you have a party of 24. We only had ONE waiter, she took our drink order (took 15 minutes) and no one helped her not even the manager then when she brought out our appetizers and didnt bother to check on us to see if we were done but some of our appetizers we put are plates and trays on the other side of the table because there was no buses around to take away our dishes the hostess was getting onto her because she wasnt checking on her tables and basically were pointing at us saying that we put the dishes there honestly if they had a problem about it they should have done it themselves if there was a problem about it that poor girl did not deserve to be disrespected by a hostess. This was my second experience here at Cheddars definitely will not be coming back

Upon arriving I asked for my party of 3 to be seated in the bar, and the hostess said no and sat us in the main dining area. The dining area was absolutely disgusting. Trash and food completely covering the floor everywhere. The booths are dirty and filled with food crumbs. The plants above where the tables are caked with dust. We almost left because if its that dirty in the lobby, I dont want to see the kitchen. Decided to stay since we were already there with a hungry child. And the food was equally bad. The fries had a funny taste as if they were cooked in dirty grease. The Monte Cristos were way overcooked. And the childs Alfredo had a funny taste. Was very disappointed as this place was good when they first opened. But now, we wont be going back for a really long time if ever at all.

We were a party of 5, and we were seated right away. The server was friendly prompt and very knowledgeable. Our food was delicious and hot. Grandson ordered the 6oz steak med rare he was so excited it came out perfect. My country fried steak was so large I had to take some home. I dont know what happened, but it was absolutely disgusting everywhere you looked on the floor. The lemon pepper chicken was way more pepper than lemon, and sadly the were out of the herb chicken. Also the chips to go with the spinach dip were awful and had to ask for new ones....the food was okay at best, no one finished their plate so it was disappointing to spend so much and still be starving when we left. The one in Waco was better tbh.

Generally I really like everything Ive ever had there, until my last visit. The gravy on the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes was not good at all. Service was unacceptable. We came in with a large group and they sat us in a tiny booth. We asked if we can be moved to a bigger table and they refused to move us to a bigger table. They had us crammed in a small booth. My husband had to eat on his lap. I, on the other hand, have been ignored on 4 different occasions about getting a water as my waiter refilled others drinks. Additionally, i asked for a 4th time to get a water and my waiter been sarcastic towards me making oh no remarks. Very poor experience and will not be coming back.

The service was great. Fresh croissants were perfection. Our cheese bites were great. Unfortunately, all the food served after our appetizer was just a disappointment. The crust off my chicken fried steak was maybe 6 times thicker than the meat itself. My husband ordered the steak and ribs. He was served what seemed to be a ground patty, or perhaps even the cubed steak thats used on a chicken fried steak. The waitress agreed that it was not a regular steak and tried to get the manager to come look at it. The manager never showed up to the table so the waitress had to take the plate to the back. Where she told the server that it was a steak. The whole situation should not have been a big deal nor should it have taken that long to resolve it. We were not trying to get a discount or free food. We did not make a huge scene in the restaurant. We simply were trying to get the items that we were going to pay for. The managers flippant attitude will ensure that we never bother with this restaurant again.

I had never eaten at this location before, however very pleased to say I did. While ive eaten at many Cheddars before the service was top tier. Our waiter not only asked if i wanted white or brown gravy with my chicken fried chicken. She also asked if I wanted it on the side or on the food. Usually at other Cheddars locations they dont ask this and I end up having to send my food back due to them pouring all the white gravy, which I do not eat on my food voluntarily. In fact I had no clue they even offered a brown gravy option. I would highly recommend this location for their service and fresh food.

We are cheddars regulars but opted for the Burleson location this particular time, and it was to go. Typically, we dine in but today, we opted for to-go since I wasn t feeling well. Ribs/tender combo with side salad and broccoli cheese casserole - where do I start. Ribs were hard as a rock, so dry I felt I was ready to choke. Missing my salad and paid for an extra ranch and didn t even get that. Tenders were cold and terribly hard. Alfredo pasta was overcooked and the noodles fell apart - they weren t even full noodles, just a mush and the chicken was cold. Ribeye was ordered as medium well and it was far from that. I get bad service and food at times but this was beyond acceptable. I called the store since that seemed the most logical and was told there was nothing they were able to do so it left no option than to leave a review. Check your food before leaving! Will not be back to this location especially for lack of help.

I thought the food was good, it was a little strange the gravy and green beans had a sweetness to them. What frustrated me the most was this was our first time there and assumed the croissants were complimentary like just about every other restaurant with bread. We asked for another plate. Upon getting the check, we were charged for the others. Why did the waitress not warn us of this? She knew we had never been there. Also, my son tapped one of the games on the screen as we were sitting down, there s another $2.99 charge! Again, why no warning??? So we paid $7 more for bread and some stupid game we didn t even play. We went here on a whim for date night and I m so glad we did! Our food delish but the best part of our evening was absolutely the service. Meagan was hands down the best server I ve ever had and she made sure our experience was top notch. I will absolutely ask for her when we go back, and I will highly recommend requesting her to my friends and family! The food wasnt great I was very disappointed We ordered ribeye steak. They were actually cooked to the proper doneness, but our food was cold by the time we got it. They also had lots of chewy fat-the kind you have to spit out! My broccoli was cold...but it was steamed perfectly We had the chips and queso and it was actually really bland. The chips seemed to be house made, but werent good. Maybe the type of tortilla used the cheese sauce also appeared to be house made. It also was bland (even though we added ground beef). It was separated and it wasnt really warm when we got it either. This was our first time to this location. They were very busy. But...not really a great reason for subpar food. We paid full price. We didnt fuss or complain. We just arent likely to return. *Those honey butter croissants were pretty great!*

1st time to visit this location in Burleson. We have been to other locations in dfw metroplex. This location was our best experience. The food at every location is good. Service is what lacks at others. Service here was excellent. From time we entered until we left. Top notch. Well staffed,attentive , always moving. Food is very filling. Complimentary croissants very tasty. Great place to eat.

Had a fantastic experience at Cheddars! The food was nothing short of excellent. My order of chicken fried chicken, accompanied by French fries and coleslaw, was served up surprisingly fast and tasted absolutely delicious. What made our visit even more pleasant was the swift service and our servers friendly demeanor, which truly stood out. The atmosphere was just right - welcoming and cozy without being overly noisy, making for a comfortable dining experience. All in all, this visit was a hit for us, and were definitely planning on coming back. Highly recommend!

They recently put a cheddars in near us, so we ve been trying it out lately. Eaten here 3-4 times over the last few weeks, drinks are amazing!!! Depending on day of the week or time of day, service can be faster or slower. We have eaten here numerous times over the last few months, and have had Tate as our waiter a bunch, super friendly and very attentive. Overall, we have been pretty satisfied with cheddars lately!
