I was intrigued by their name.. STONE COLD SOUP caught my eye. Second step, check out their menu. I LOVE Soup and their menu pulled me in. I asked around, and they have FANS of their Broccoli Cheese Soup. I HAD to check it out ! Oh my goodness.. their Broccoli Cheese Soup is Delish.. and so was their Stone Cold Club sandwich, thick with the good stuff. It is on my Favorite List now . Check it out..it will be on yours too.

Food - great. Price - great. Staff - great. Hours - awful. They could almost triple their business if they were open for dinner. I would order at least once every couple weeks for dinner if available. I am not always able to get lunch at a proper time, and I would love to have them more often. Please expand the hours.

I used to come here all the time, but the owners are kinda rude and stuck up sometimes. Theyre constantly running out of soup and pastries. I understand it though, theyre so good! The atmosphere seems really sad and dreary and doesnt help that most of the clientele are older folks. Other than those few complaints, I do sometimes stop to visit every now and then.

I love Stone Soup! Their bread is fresh and everything I have had (which has been a lot since I have been here so many times) is delicious. My only complaint is that their hours are a little strange and it s hard to actually be able to visit them within those hours. However, I also know they are doing what s best for them so that is fine. Would definitely recommend, especially the herb bread!

First time here and it was a great experience. Soup was wonderful! Staff were very kind. At the end of our visit it was close to closing time and the gentleman (Im assuming the owner) asked if my friend and I would eat this loaf of bread as it had no preservatives and it will go bad before they can use it. We graciously accepted and it was great bread!!! Will definitely be back.

We loved this place. We ran in and grabbed a bite before our daughters tournament. I got the special, broccoli cheddar soup with a croissant and my husband got a sandwich and pasta salad. All of it was excellent, hot and filling. We loved the special surprise addition of the 2 cookies. Cant wait to go back.

I work in the same shopping center as this restaurant, and just recently ordered from them due to convenience. When I tell you it was good, I mean like I devoured it down in under 10 minutes. I order the 1/2 chiptole club sandwich with a cup of the white bean soup, as well as a large drink (and they even included a cookie with my order for free!) I ordered it to go, and unfortunately couldnt pick it up until 30 minutes later, but it was all still to temperature. The staff were super friendly, as well as the cafe itself was clean, smelled good, and very organized. I will definitely be coming back with my boyfriend and friends!

Very disappointed in the service. Called for delivery after a long day of travel super excited to eat stone soup because I work during the day normally out of town. Got the delivery and my husbands sandwich was a totally different sandwich. He ordered the special, the Buffalo chicken ranch. We got a plain turkey on white. I called to report this and she told me at 2:29pm that they are closed and I could get the correct sandwich on Monday. Everything on google states they close at 3pm. I wasnt even given the option to come pick it up today. I explained that I could not do that as I work. I had to request a refund for the sandwich. Figured the service factor would be a lot better, and unfortunately won t be ordering again.

It s such a shame, I ll NEVER order from Stone soup ever again!!!! I usually go every Tuesday because I love the soup on Tuesday. I get a half a sandwich with it. My total is different every time I go. Only a $1 or $2 I never complained I just always was like whatever it s fine. When you walk in no ones is greeting you like most restaurants do, hi, hello what can I get for you? NOTHING! The service from here is absolutely trash and disrespectful. Also, I brushed it off. Not a big deal just get your soup get out. Okay, so today! I try and call to make a to go order per usual... no answer, assuming they are busy. So I give it a few minutes and call again, no answer. Wait call again, still nothing I pass by it going to get my kids their food. 2 cars in the pArking lot and I m like okay they should answer now, but still no answer. So I pull up call again so I don t have to wait inside for my food no answer! For like the 5th time. Whatever, I grab the kids and go in to order I get to the counter & no what can I get you? So I wait... I waited for them to ask what I needed because isn t that their job? So, me and this girl are just looking at each other. Finally she asked. Ummm, what can I get you. I told her my order, again my total is different but whatever, it was cheaper this time When I asked about the phones being down the girl at the front short black hair with the most disrespectful attitude um we are busy and rolled her eyes. There are 3 people in th whole restaurant not including myself. So if your busy you can t answer the phone and say hey we are busy mind if I put you on hold? So I asked the co owner (Barry) about the disrespectful employees and how no one can answer the phones and that my total is always wrong his response was ummm, I m sorry idk how to help you or answer what your saying.... If you can t work in the restaurant industry and do customer service, GET TF OUT We don t owe anything to y all, y all owe us a good experience when walking into your restaurant. Don t get me wrong this place has great sandwiches. They continue to raise prices in a town that s already over inflated and it s locally owned and there s no reason for it other than greed. You pay 10 dollars minimum for a small sand which and god forbid you want a cup of soup. If you want a meal with a drink. One person is $20. But they don t care.

This place is the perfect combination between a tea room and a deli shop. All of their sandwiches have a plenty of meat (like 4-6 slices) and the bread is so soft! If your vegetarian their veggie sandwich has enough yummy mushrooms and bell peppers to make you forget about the meat. The star of the show for me is their POTATO SALAD. I never knew a side dish could make you wish it was a main dish. Broccoli cheese soup was very filling and a great combo to the sandwich. Every sandwich comes with a cute little bite size cookie

First time visit and will definitely be returning. I had the special: smoked turkey salad with avocado sandwich. It came with a pickle spear and small cookie. Everything was so fresh. I also ordered a small broccoli cheddar soup which was one of the soups of the day. Also was fresh and had a great taste. The lady that answered was very nice and helpful as she explained what all was in my order and provided specials. When I went to pick up my order I received great service as well. First time visit. We had the southwest turkey sandwich on wheat, Stone Soup club on herb bread and the soup of the day, potato. Bread was nice and soft, sandwiches were very good and fresh and the soup was hot and creamy. Great for a cold winter day. To top it off they include a sweet little sugar cookie for dessert. Love their broccoli cheese soup. I have eaten the Turkey croissant and Ruben. Both are really good. They deliver, unlike other sandwich shops, so we have what we call Stone Soup Friday at Berry Stewart Eye Center. They have fast and courteous delivery (if you order early). We have wait over 1 hour at times, and once our delivery was incomplete, but they came back. It happens... Nobodys perfect.

I love the food here. I love the atmosphere. It is one of my favorite places in Burleson to grab a sandwich and have a nice lunch date with a friend. The only thing that saddens me is that they are closed on the weekends and have weird hours during the week sometimes, so Im not always able to eat here when I crave it! Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Food is excellent and staff is very friendly. One thing I have noticed is even when they are very busy the service is very fast. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my food even at peak times. I love this place and eat here regularly.

I used to order here almost every Friday. California Dreamin with no tomatoes and Broccoli Cheese soup. Out of the 30 times or so Ive ordered carry out, theyve only ever made one mistake in putting a tomato on one of my sandwiches. They of course immediately offered to fix it without my asking when I noticed it. They have always been friendly and the food is delicious.

This place is very hit and miss. Well start with the food, depending on who makes your sandwich you either get a good amount of meat on it or you can get barely any which is a huge disappointment when you are paying $8 for a sandwich you could make at home. Some of the soups are delicious and some, well not the best. I highly recommend thursdays chicken mushroom but wednesdays beer cheese mushroom had me questioning if it could even be considered soup with its thick gelatinous texture, gag. Now, onto service...theres one woman who works there that is older than all the other girls who is always a pleasure to order from but if you get stuck with one of the fresh out of high school girls, expect to be treated with a rude, I dont really care attitude. I think this place could be great if the owner would just do a little more customer service and food prep training.

I simply love this place!! My place of work orders often and we know it could be a while on the delivery if we do not call an appropriate time ahead. Because we also know and understand that we are many deliveries for that day. Their soups, salads, and sandwiches are all delicious.

This is 100% the hidden gem in this small town. I have never experienced anything less than superb service and the freshest ingredients. I dont live here anymore but anytime I come to visit I have to stop here!! The cookies are the perfect ending to their amazing combo meals. Stone Soup Cafe is the one of the best if not the best restaurant in Burleson. They have the best soups in town. I eat here regularly because of they weekly deals!!! Cheese Broccoli and Chicken tortilla soups are are my favorite soup. I would definitely recommended specially that cold weather around the corner.

They have the best food! Always taste fresh. My favorite is the avocado club and the chicken enchilada soup. They also have these tiny cookies that taste perfect. And as much as I hate potato salad theres is very good. I have also had their salads and as always they did not disappoint. The price is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting if you want a cheap food go to McDonalds you want good quality fresh food spend a little extra cash and get something youll love.

This was an unfortunate experience for us. Called in with 4 separate orders and asked for delivery to our location and was told that it would be at least 90 minutes until they could deliver our food. Since we all clock in and out for lunch, I opted to send someone to pick it up instead, and lets just say that I am glad that I did because when we arrived to pick it up, there on the wall, for all the world to see, and potentially steal, were the credit card numbers we gave as payment over the phone! Very irresponsible on the part of this business owner to display credit card numbers and expiration dates on the tickets they use for orders. When it was brought to the attention of the cashier/counter girl, she was very rude and we were told that they had been doing it this way for 8 years, and that we were the only ones upset about it. My guess is were the only ones that have noticed it since it was a to go order instead of a delivery. Once the food was picked up and brought back to our place, there were two mistakes on one order, and when we called and asked that they fix it and deliver the replacement, we were told once again that it would be another hour before it could be brought us. Todays incident will be the last time we do business with this restaurant. I will add that we were called back by Terry( a manager?) and we told her we were all upset that the card numbers were on display. She said that they normally dont do that, but we were so busy that they did it that way today, which is obviously a complete contradiction to what the counter girl told us. As of now, its been over an hour, the replacement food has not arrived, and were all hoping that no one has compromised our credit cards.
