We got to the ER at 6 Tuesday evening. We didnt go back to a room until after 1am. We seen the doctor 1 time in the beginning. It is now almost 5 am. We havent seen anyone in hours. My wife had cancer a year ago. She is now in remission. For us to set here for 10 hours and not know what is going on is unacceptable. That really messes with a persons mind. I will never be back to this hospital

As I am in agony walking into the ER, the front desk doesn t have regard as he is talking about his vacation to the nurse. I was ignored until I made apparent to see a Dr quickly. The ER nurse poke my arm various times living my arm blue, she decided to get someone else which this nurse quickly found a vein.. Worst experience, will stay away from the ER. The OBGYN n surgeon were excellent.

My daughter was taken to hugely hospital by ambulance cause she had all the signs of a appendicitis but they put her in a chair and moved her out front and the lady that was working at the check in desk was the most rudest person we got there 2:30 in the morning and was dismissed at 2 the afternoon they were the slowest and it took the director of nurse to email the doctor to get him to come back to her room to let us know what was going on with the labs and ct scan so I will not be coming back to hugely hospital

I was very happy with the service I received at Texas Health Hugley Hospital after I fell hard and cut my forehead. They got to me very quickly, examined the wound and took imaging photos and sutured my forehead. The staff was professional and compassionate. I received a follow up phone call the next morning to see how I was doing.

The wait was a little long. But that is going to be expected with a lot of people there. But the doctors listen to you. I like when a doctor listen that means they are there to help you. Thank you for that. Once you get back in a room a doctor comes right in. I would recommend this hospital to everyone....

I was left waiting in the lobby for almost 3 extra hours. I was later told it was because the system didn t automatically send a follow up on me. I went up to the desk a few times and asked them to check and make sure something hadn t gone wrong with their system but they wouldn t. When I was finally taken back to be seen by a doctor, they installed an IV which was never used for anything. I suspect they get to bill for that if they do it. I spent 4 hours there for something that should have reasonably taken 2 or less. I recommend a different ER if you must go to one.

I received subpar treatment during my visit. I realize that my condition was not high on the list of priorities; but at least if i were the nurse taking care of patients, I would have checked to see the patient needed some sort of pain relief. I told nursing that pain level was 8.5 on 10 point scale and no intervention was taken afterwards. Extended wait time for ordered testing. Lastly, when it was time for me to be discharged (nearly 11pm) I was told by the nurse that pain meds were called in to my preferred pharmacy, which closes at 7pm and had to request some type of brace, splint, or boot to support my injured area. So much for patient care.

We brought my father in two days ago and no blood was drawn only a head and chest scan. He was sent home with acetaminophen for pain. We took him to a different hospital and he has MENINGITIS! He s been suffering for a week with it. This hospital isn t bad if you know what is wrong with you and need treatment, but we ve been relocated before because they aren t as equipped. We gave them all the same symptoms, and the staff asked all the wrong questions. We didnt feel prioritized at times.

They got my daughter back pretty fast, she hurt her knee and was really swollen. The lady that brought us back cleaned up her leg the x ray tech was great but the doctor came in and didn t do any sort of physical exam all she said was omg that s as big as a grapefruit. She came back and said it s just swelling it s not broke well wrap it and just keep an eye on it. Leaves the room the nurse comes back with discharge papers no wrap. It was a bad experience, I didn t feel that she did a sufficient job.

Went to urgent care next day because it made no sense that I wasn t being given meds to help me. Urgent care told me hugueley should ve never let me leave without steroids or antibiotics. Took my sister to the ER last night for possible appendicitides. Had took her to a clinic before hand where they suggested she go to the hospital due to her symptoms and gave us a doctor note so we could be seen asap. Informed the nurse at check in didnt even bother to look at note said to give it to doctor when she gets seen. Got to the ER at 6:30pm and was waiting in the waiting room until 3am when they finally took her to the back to be examined. Asked multiple times how long it was going to be staff could never give an update. Every single person in the waiting room was seen before us. Ridiculous amount of wait time. If understaffed or not enough rooms available that needs to be said at the time of check in so people can go to a different hospital. Or close the er to incoming by patients until able to get caught up. Not sure what needs to be changed but something needs to be done to prevent this to happen time after time.

I went in for not being able to hold down food, high blood pressure, and abdominal pain! I got checked in to the ER, they called me back for labs and a urine sample. After labs and a urine sample, I was told to go back to the waiting room. I waited another 2 hours, and then a nurse told me I was fine. I was never seen by a doctor. Once I was discharged, I had vomited again, but then checked myself into Baylor Scott And White, they did further testing I then got a second opinion! I was dehydrated and they put me on an IV and had to have 2 antibiotic shots. I don t recommend Huguley to anyone.

Would not listen to my concerns. Son has history of heat illness/severe dehydration. Went in due to having seizure . Confusion, elevated blood pressure 140/90, dark color urine! Ran CT /chest X-ray/cbc/toxicology/ few other labs. Gave 1 bag of iv fluids. When that one bag was completed his blood pressure went back to his normal if 90/68(multi sport athlete)Dr Wong insisted nothing was wrong all lab work came back normal . Would not let me see the lab work while in ER. Basically discharge him without listening. Once I received access to my chart I was able to see that his albumin, RBC,hemocrit where ALL elevated. To elevated for a 14 yr old boy with a history of heat illness/severe dehydration. I would not go back there again!!!

The Nurses and Dr were very through and nice. The only drawback was the desk attendant in the ER he was rude and a smart Alec. Kept interrupting when I would try to answer his questions and he tried to lecture me because I should have came in earlier. But otherwise it was a good expierence!! The ER Doctor was great!!

Please do not make the mistake of taking your baby to this hospital when it comes to an emergency!!! I made the biggest mistake of bringing my baby here since he had a high fever and was not drinking or eating. I expressed my concerns about dehydration and they didn t do anything for him but check his ear and that was it. Not to make my story long, I had to take him to cooks children the next day and remained in the hospital from Tuesday to Thursday with a much serious diagnostic.

I was in the hospital February 4 2024. I had the best nurse named ms. Rachel, she s a black woman. She works the night shift. I had to leave an exceptional review, because I ve never had a nurse check on me so much to make sure I was comfortable. She rocks and needs to be recognized for being an exceptional nurse.

I really liked the medical attention I received for back and chest pain, they did everything necessary to clear up all my doubts, I loved the attention of the doctor and the nurses...the guy who asked my questions to see if I qualified for the expenses It was great. I loved the service. Thank you very much.
