good thick burger patties here .crispy fries..Im from Louisiana so im use to cajun tastes and seasonings, so if I could change something it would only for it to be more seasoned on the patties. But we spent 38$ for 3 cheeseburgers and large fry today during the 2nd visit here passing by.

The burger was decent. But the tater tots were crispy. Like the way they should be. I have eaten their burgers twice. The first time the burger had way to much seasoning on it. The next time I had the burger. I asked for no seasoning on the burger. The burger was average at best. For the price of the cheeseburger, tater tots, and soda. I could of went to another burger place and had the same meal. For a cheaper price. And would of tasted better. All the tables are under a covered patio. Its very hard to eat there during the summer heat. Its an okay place to go. If you are passing through the area.

Not bad! I got a cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries. The flavor was amazing but I m generally not a fan of a HUGE patties which I totally get some people love so that s more of a personal preference than a complaint. I will say someone else said the buns get soggy fast and they totally do bc mine were so soggy and I live around the corner so I recommend eating there. The paying situation was also super weird, the girl at the window told me $18.50 and then handed me a dollar back when I gave her a 20, so I asked for a receipt to make sure I wasn t going crazy and she told me she couldn t give me one. Which was cool until she managed to get me a receipt and it said $17?? I wasn t gonna complain over $2-3 so I just left it like that but if you re going to order several things definitely be careful and do the math so you don t end up shorted.

I live in Houston and have been making regular trips to Burleson for over a year now. My first stop is always Myrtles. They have the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. Well worth the 4.5 hour drive.

If you want a great hamburger, youre at the right place. If youre really hungry get a double, but a single will be enough for most. The fries and onion rings are very good as well. I havent tried anything else on the menu, but my guess is its all very good. Very reasonable prices.

We were down in the south part of town yesterday and stopped by Myrtles Burgers for lunch. Weather was amazing and dining outside was perfect. We had cheeseburgers and fries. Burgers were big and no shortage of tasty beef in these hand formed patties. Toasted bun and fresh toppings. Crinkle cut fries and fry sauce were great! Might be a bit off the beaten path, but if youre traveling through Burleson stop by and grab a bite.

Oh my goodness, a written review could never do this place enough justice. I first visited this joint back in 2008 as a middle schooler. Back then I was just starting to have an idea of what my all time favorite burger places were, much less kept track. For almost 2 years my father and I frequented this diamond in the rough picking up my sister from school and friends houses in the area. Eventually stopped coming around, forgot the name of the place, but their burgers always stuck in my mind as one of the best ones ever. Over the years as life changes happened and I moved all over Texas, I would often find myself at a burger joint raving about how good it was, but once finished would always think man this was good, but not quite as good as that place when I was a teen which I now know the name of and will never forget, I wish I could find it as an adult, so I could know if it truly is number 1. Its still in the top 3 for sure. Fast forward 15 years, Im 29 and driving across counties for my career and what do I find? Theyve done some renovation in all that time, I didnt recognize it at 1st but I said ooh I bet that hole in the wall is good, Im gonna stop there on my way back. As soon as I pulled up for lunch everything pieced together. I was floored, I couldnt believe I had stumbled across it. I wont go into depth about the burger youve heard enough. Just know that everything was perfect in every way. Its been 15 years but it wasnt just a nostalgic memory. I can say without a doubt this place has the best burger in all of DFW. Possibly all of Texas. If you are anywhere within 30 miles or care about the quality or experience of a burger joint. Stop at Myrtles.

A throwback to the classic burger. If you get the double you probably wont finish it cause the patties are huge. Great taste. The onion rings reminded me of Whataburgers onion rings. Very delicious. A must try if youre in Burleson. You wont be disappointed. Burgers are greasy but well worth it.

The service is fantastic! Greeted as soon as I strolled up and treated well. As for the food, it was incredible! Hand made burgers, very well seasoned (didnt need to hide behind condiments) and the tots were out of sight. For a small mom and pop shop it was good. As with all things inflation has hit them hard so prices were higher than what I saw on other pictures. The burger was delicious and tasted fresher than any fast food joint. The Texas twister fries was okay. Parts were delicious but others were soggy and greasy. If it dried a little more it would be perfect. I had heard great things about this little place off 1187 and I can say it was good. If you are venturing off the path for unknown places or something that is not fast food chain stores this place does deliver something different. Its a no frills small burger place. The people were nice and attentive. Got the orders right and had no issues getting in and out. So if youre up for a little bit higher price but a genuine different vibe place this is one to check out.

Had 2 long hairs in my hamburger today. First time the bread wasnt soggy and I had 2 hairs. today Saturday January 14, 2023 is a sunny Saturday perfect for a good hamburger but once again the business is closed, they are not constant, they open and close when they want... they do not respect the schedules. and yes, they are excellent, highly recommended, but first call by phone and make sure that that day if they want to open the business, they open and close it without respecting their schedule, that is very annoying to drive 45 minutes hungry and craving and arrive and to be surprised that that day they simply did not want to work

I got a double bacon cheeseburger with everything except ketchup, fries, onion rings and ranch. Crinkle cut fries with great seasoning. The burger was okay. My only complaint would be that it was ala carte. Not uncommon umongst locally small fast food businesses. However, at the end of the day the burger didnt match the buck. For two people and I spent over 40 bucks for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and a two drinks. Next time Id rather go to Braums for an old time burger and also get more bang for my buck.

They are good, the meat is very soft, I dont find a super special flavor to say that they are the best I have ever tried. They are a good size and the price seems good to me, they are not sweet potatoes though. The potato portions are well served. The staff is generally friendly, they take a little time but I understand that it is because the food is cooked at the moment. You eat outdoors at tables that are outside the premises if you want.

Waited 45 minutes for what was supposed to be a 10-15 minute wait. When you order at the window you should pull forward but nobody tells you that. So call in orders have to wait on non call in orders. One of two burgers was burnt to a crisp. I called the owner and explained all this and was denied a credit even for one burger unless I wanted to drive all the way back out there. Don t waste your time. DONT GO. I won t go back!

Today was my first day trying it out. I must admit its probably one of the best burgers Ive ever had in my life. The owner was very nice staff was very nice very much impressed. If youre in the area or passing through you definitely got to make time to try it out

If you miss hamburger without soy, turkey, or any other additives. Then this ladys and gentlemen is the burgerstand for you. But if you still think McDonalds is the bomb. Then you just keep going there and dont come over and rain on my parade. Quick some one go back to the 80s and tell that little old lady that I found the beef.

We have been driving by this restaurant for a year now. Today, we finally decided to eat lunch there. The menu consists of a variety of burgers, hot dogs, and fries. The restaurant is a quaint, little place on the side of FM 1187 in Burleson with outside dining only under a covered patio. Why did we wait until now to eat here!! Fresh burgers made to order with a Great taste. I almost ordered another cheeseburger! Fries were seasoned with just a right amount of seasoning, not an overload on the sodium. However, the tea was very very sweet but one would say it s how we like tea in Texas. Myrtle s is my new go to for hamburgers. The restaurant is opened from 11am - 5pm, closed Sunday and Wednesday. They have 2 more items I am dying to try and that s their Brisket Bobby burger and their chicken sandwich. I don t think I will be disappointed.
