We used to love this place but seems to be going downhill. They are building new amenities but dont seem to have the staff to support it. This last trip about a month ago was the worst and we wont be back for awhile. Emailed management about it right after our stay and nothing but crickets. So is that doesnt say how they feel about their guests, I dont know what does.

Our experience with renting a hall for our family reunion. I am giving Jellystone Park a low rating due to the poor service received from the North Texas Jellystone Park Reservations Agent/Group Specialist. She missed two scheduled appointments one for a site tour and another to sign the contract. Both times, her co-workers had to cover for her, but they were unprepared and unprofessional. At the second meeting, we insisted on reviewing the contract before paying, only to be met with hostility and no contract to sign. The co-worker assisting us was dismissive, rushed us through our questions, and visibly upset during our interactions. To make matters worse, the reservations agent later contacted us to finalize the booking while she was on vacation, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and respect for our time. Ultimately, we decided to book elsewhere, where we were treated respectfully. Our large family had planned to rent cabins, tipis, and RV spots at Jellystone, but this poor experience has led us to take our business elsewhere. I hope the owners see this review and address the serious issues with their staff and customer service.

This is our third time to this park and we seem to love it even more every time! We stay on action alley in the 1BR cabins (but don t be fooled, there is room to sleep 9!!!) so there is shared lawns in the front with fire rings and sandpits. This area would be so fun with multi family group with kids The cabins are just lovely, I could seriously live in one! And so cheap!! We bring our own food, utensils and pots and pans and never have to pay to eat out. But of course we drive to the ice cream shoppe at the lobby! (Ps- you MUST get a golf cart! So fun to drive around the property like that!) the new grain silos and teepees look wonderful, and that area has a whole vibe at night We have only ever been in spring and fall so never seen the water park but there is sooo much to do without it, we ve never missed it. The new pool at the barn was open for us in September and was sooo incredible, especially at night! my only complaint is the website, which can be a little difficult to navigate.

We visited Jellystone Park for the second time, and it was great. We celebrated the feast of tabernacles. We chose the same cabin. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have different lodging options. Grain bins, teepees, cabins, RVs, wagon wheel, ect. There are also 2 new pools. Loved the atmosphere and peacefulness that came from the trip. Will return! Nearby activities: The town of Burleson is nice. With shopping and food options. Lots of local mom and pop type places. Unique restaurants. Safety: We had NO issues. Its quiet and safe. There is a guard at the gate to get into the property. Walkability: Safe to walk around the campground.

Nice park with lots of things to do for the kids. Lots of long term RV residents mixed in with the short term RV spots. My kids heard some interesting stories from the resident kids there that made me a little concerned for our safety but also feel very blessed for our family.

Had a great time with the family. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Tanya helped us get into our cabin in a timely manner and Kimberly helped us find our grandsons missing wallet as well as all the other help from staff. So much to do and camping outdoorsy feel but close enough to town if needed. Only negative I have is the sound of the highway if youre tent camping. Other than that, it was awesome! We stayed in a text one night and a cabin the next. Want to try the tee peeps next time. They also make THE BEST home made ice cream Ive ever had. Lots of different flavors.

I had fun on the Jellystone side of the park. They had plenty of amenities that were fun. The main reason we booked was to go to Pirates Cove water park. When we went there half the park was closed because of lack of lifeguards. When we mentioned how frustrating it was that half the waterpark at Pirates Coves was shut down to the front desk at Jellystone ,they said it was a completely different business. It doesnt seem this way when you book on the website Jellystone website. So learn from our mistakes. If you book a RV site for $285 a night and expect the waterpark next door to be completely open, you will be disappointed. Update to add more information- We talked to someone about the waterpark issues in the main gift shop/ ranger station. It was there that they told us it was a separate company. We bought some souvenirs there right after the conversation. When looking at my bank account the purchase comes as Pirates Cove. So apparently I was just flat out lied to.

This was our first time camping here since we have moved to Texas, we were so excited to have our kids experience it. Everything was good until our 1 year old was at the small playground and got attacked by fire ants. They were everywhere. No medicine we gave him helped. His foot was swollen twice the size. Instead of enjoying our last day, we had to rush to pack up to take him to urgent care. Days later and lots of money spent his foot is still not back to normal. We are extremely disappointed that Jellystone would not make sure the areas that kids play in are safe for them to do so. Not to mention our campsite had them everywhere also. We never left any food out and we didn t even sit outside of our camp for that reason. Needless to say a trip that was supposed to be very memorable turned very quick. Safety: Be aware of red ants everywhere, even in the playgrounds.

We booked a Homestead cabin for the weekend to celebrate my daughter s 10th birthday. We paid nearly $1,000 for two nights. We arrived late with two vehicles, mine and my husband s. We were told at the gate that we needed to purchase an additional parking tag. I then had to park, go into the office, and pay an additional $10 (plus tax) for a tag. This should have been communicated when I booked it over the phone. Upon arriving to the cabin, it was extremely hot inside. We noticed it had central heat and air, but it did not work. There were two window units for the entire cabin. The loft was incredibly hot, leaving everyone to find room to sleep downstairs. The cabin did not cool down until well into the following morning. I would recommend having these cabins at an appropriate temperature when you know a guest is arriving. There were many other issues the entire time we were at this location. The doorknob was almost coming out of the door. Locking and unlocking the cabin was tricky, as it felt like we were about to pull the doorknob completely out. There was a hole in the wooden floor by the door leading into the screened in porch. A few of us almost fell through and one twisted their ankle. The table in the screened in porch was completely broken. The master bed was not put together properly when the linens were changed, leading to my husband falling onto the floor when getting into bed. He and I took the linens off and managed to fix the bed. The shower and sink fixtures in the bathroom need to be replaced as there were gaps and loose/hanging parts. We attempted to cook dinner and realized there were no basic pots, pans, or dishes. I managed to go to a local store to buy a pan and a few other things. When cooking, we wanted to use the vent-a-hood. We noticed there were switches, but no light or fan, as both had been taken out. We also ran into issues when wanting to do some of the activities offered. We paid extra for our kids to make slime. A few of them did not turn out correctly. Despite it being due to the staff managing and the adding ingredients, they would not fix it. Our kids wanted to try the Gel Blaster and Archery Tag. A man and his son completed a round of Gel Blaster and no one was at the Archery Tag. After they finished, we asked a few young men that were manning that area if we could play. We were told that we would have to wait 30-45 minutes to play, even though no one had even been in the Archery Tag course. They claimed that they needed to clean up . We sat and waited while we watched them talk and stay behind the counter, not cleaning anything. We ended up leaving. Activities ended early, most at 6PM. Which is very early for a Saturday in August. The tetherball area was unusable, with both balls torn off the ropes and laying on the ground. I went to the office and notified them but they seemed to not care at all. We asked for a volleyball to play on the sand court and was given a torn up, written on ball to play with. The Lost Maze is a bit dangerous, as it s full of sticker patches and in one area, a huge piece of tin is laying in the walkway. The Laser Tag area was completely shut down. The pools were dirty and the hot tub was not properly operating. For what we paid, we certainly expected a lot more. Maybe this was all due to it being at the end of the summer season, but I still feel like the price we paid leaves no room for that excuse. We understand that camping is not equivalent to a hotel stay. But you do advertise yourself as a glamping facility. It is just a shame that us hard-working families pay so much money and the accommodations and activities are not updated and kept refreshed. Unfortunately, it did end up being a waste of money for us. Which is a tough pill to swallow because we do not make a lot of money between the two of us as it is. We will likely not be returning to a Jellystone Park after having this experience.

Wow! That s the first word that comes to mind about Jellystone! We had a 2 night 3 day stay during the Back to school weekend and my boys had a blast! There are SOOOOO many activities! From playing bingo and karaoke to swimming in their beautiful pool and going to the water park! There was always something going on so it was never too busy or crowded because folks were spread out! There are also some nice parks throughout the park as well as some smaller pools! Get a golf cart and go explore!!! We only had one issue which was that we had a spider and an ant in our bed the first night which was okay, but the second day there were lots of ants in the bed (we were in a teepee so hey it comes with the territory) HOWEVER the staff was EXTREMELY responsive! They came out immediately and changed the bedding and sprayed for us. The boys have already planned out next stay in the pirate ship, so we will be back soon! Walkability: The park is very large, would highly recommend getting a cart to explore. Food and drinks: Not many food options but they did have some food trucks come. And cafe had good breakfast tacos and pirates cove had pretty good food. All the food at the park was nice and fresh!

We had THE best time, and I have to say it was well worth the cost. Think of it as summer camp and someone else is planning the events...Peace of Mind! I will say there was no wifi available (this is a known issue- they provided no incentives/discounts). The APP is the ONLY thing they keep up to date and it is NOT user friendly (Im in IT so yes, I would know) The website (more user friendly) is not updated...but again we had no service for either.

We enjoyed our 3 day and 2 night stay in our cabin. So many activities to choose from along with the Pirates Cove water park. My grandkids (ages 9, 14, 14, 15, 16) loved the water park along with your new Olympic sized walk in pool with a swim up bar and waterfall as well as the indoor pool. We all thoroughly enjoyed the Wet & Wild Hey, Hey, Hey ride. They all enjoyed the Gel Blasters, the Lost Maze and the neon Mini golf inside the activities barn. The kids got a kick out of seeing Grandpa & Grandma tackling ping pong and mini golf! They also enjoyed the craft table where they got to paint rocks and ceramics. The pizza and burgers at the Pirates Cove Grill were scrumptious and not overly priced. Our cabin also had a fire pit, so we got to make Smores our last night there. Overall our stay was fabulous, except everyone was afraid to use the shower and toilet for fear of falling through the floor. There was so much mold around the floor outside the shower stall that the entire floor was soft and mushy in front of it. The same for all around the toilet, totally afraid that when I sat down all the way, the toilet would fall through the floor. We did report it to the registration desk, so hopefully they will replace the rotten floor. Rooms: We had two small bedrooms that were supposed to have queen sized mattresses but only had full size mattresses that dipped into the center of the bed. The loft had three queen size mattresses, but the ceiling height was only three feet. The kitchen, living room and dining room were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was adequate, but the floor needs to be replaced. There was mold all around the outside base of the shower and the toilet, which made the floor very spongy and soft. We were afraid to sit on the toilet or get in the shower for fear of them falling through the floor. Nearby activities: Everyday has more than enough activities to keep you busy all day from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm. The water park is also available all day long as well as an Olympic sized, walk in pool with a swim up bar and beautiful waterfall. Walkability: The whole park is very walkable however, it is almost 100 acres. Its much better to rent a golf cart to get from one activity to another and then just hike when you want to just explore the area. Food and drinks: The grill at Pirates Cove serves very good burgers and wonderful pizza. Unfortunately, they charge $2.00 for a drink refill. The Country Kreamery makes the best homemade ice cream!

My complaints are that there are no dishes in the rooms that come equipped with kitchens, they also dont have swim towels available (bring your own), and they dont have a lot of tubes for the water park/lazy river (and the ones they do have you must rent) and they dont allow you to bring your own.

Easy drive from the DFW area. This site has recently added a lot more RV sites and new tiny homes (cabins) for rent. The older RV spots have a lot of shade and they have planted trees by the newer ones. Each spot has a charcoal grill, picnic table and most have a fire pit. Rv spots are gravel and level. During our stay it was not crowded at all. Plenty of chairs at the pools and I was able to get a covered table whenever I wanted one. There are very nice cabanas able to rent. We loved the family feel to the property. It was not a busy time so we spent time with the same families each day and made new friends. Staff was amazing. Mr Clay, Bonnie, slim and Matthew have been terrific. Within 1 day, they knew my kiddo by name and interacted with all the kids. They have a fantastic team and are great with kids - even handle us overtired, overstimulated parents with grace and ease! We purchased a fun pass and it made it so easy to do all the things. Don t sleep on the bear sundae. For adults, canteen food was good and made fresh to order and there is a full bar when dad needs a break from all the fun Suggestions for the future: sail shades in portions of the pool and basketball courts. Build out an indoor activity center where kids can just come together indoors and play or color. (I can t comment on rooms because we brought a camper )

Its like a summer camp for grownups/families with a lot of activities included in the cost of the stay. We stayed in the tipis because I thought it would be fun experience and also used it as an opportunity to educate the kids further about native americans (tipis for mobility, trail of tears etc)...and what on the tipi was as generally authentic verses changed for convenience. Kids has no idea who Yogi was before the trip. We had them watch one really old clip on YouTube which was met with a you are old comment...but after the trip they loved yogi and booboo. Kinda like how great wolf makes the kids like the characters. Kids rated this the best trip to take within a short drive from Dallas.

Family vacation with wife, 2 daughters and 2 sons with 3 grandbabies ages 6, 18 months, and 3 months. Pirates Cove (Water Park) is nice and has slides for all ages. Amenities are very nice with lots of activities for the kids. Cabins are very tight (2 rooms with double bunk beds) with only one bathroom for 6 adults and 3 grandbabies. Golf carts have restrictions for speed but are worth it for getting to go all over the campsite. I would recommend using Uber Eats or Door Dash for meals. I would definitely recommend this place for a family vacation.

We had a great time at the park! It was definitely a weekend full of activities and memories were made! Pros: Lots of awesome activities to choose from! We really enjoyed almost all of them! We stayed during the pirate week theme and the wet and wild tractor ride was certainly a highlight for the family, it was unique and so much fun! Well planned, good duration and many employees stationed around the park to spray us. It was fun to shoot each other with the provided water cannons too! Indoor glow in the dark mini golf was awesome! Unique accommodation options: we stayed in the conestoga wagon which was well-cooled and comfy Cool games for children with prizes Friendly staff Things for improvement/some things that didn t go as good The main outdoor pool needs more shade, more cleaning and needs to be fixed up a bit. Currently there is insufficient shade, there were a lot of debris the pool and a lot of cracks, scratches on the bottom, some lights falling out etc. Shaded indoor pool was closed. Pirate themed scavenger hunt needed to be more thought through and a little bit more refined: the hunt was essentially going around the entire park looking for X spots, but the park is so huge, there is no way to complete it. The hunt should have been either limited to a smaller territory or contain clues on where to look. My kiddo really wanted to find the spots but we couldn t due to it being so vague so he rated the hunt 0 out of 10 while all other activities he did enjoy. Please put a little bit more thought and care into it in the future to make it doable for all. Key card entry (applicable to the wagon specifically): it was a bit inconvenient to not have the option to just close the door and being able to open it without a key card when going in and out (to the outdoor bathroom or while grilling) especially for kids: constant anxiety for remembering the key card to not get locked out. We had a minor maintenance issue; the outlet for fridge/microwave stopped working as we were making dinner. We did get a fast response and crew came out but they didn t solve the issue so it kinda just waisted our time and we had to figure out how to hook up the fridge to a different outlet so our food was not spoiled overnight. We appreciate quick response but hopefully the crew gets more training on where all the breakers are located/how to troubleshoot successfully. 3 adults 2 kiddos, perfect size. These cabins are the perfect size. Extended enclosed porch, nice for coffee, meals, relaxing. Be prepared to grill or bring your own cook top. Only microwave inside cabin. The bathroom and shower were plenty spacious. Fully air conditioned but upstairs stays a little warm, bring a fan to move air. Tons of activities for kids fully air conditioned large barns with activities for kids. 4 pools available, petting zoo, fishing dock, could go on and on. Cabins, rvs, glamping tents, silos. This is a great close to home getaway. Price reasonable and includes pirate cove water park access. Only complaint was wifi did not work inside the cabin. This put a kink into entertainment for kiddos.

I loved the long list of activities!!! We loved the stay. Only thing was the master bed was hard. When booking I didnt know the bunk beds were in the same room. I wish online I was able to truly know where my cabin was prior to coming . If it did I didnt understand it on the website. The master room blanket was dirty didnt look clean. I loved the barn activities, its just I didnt always see anyone my the cash register to ask questions. The indoor pool was closed every day of our stay. I would have loved if the pirate cove water parks stayed open till at least 8pm for the campers who stayed. My niece had a small issue with a car hitting her, wish it was more outside cameras. But overall I will definitely Come back loved it!!

From beginning to end, we throughly enjoyed the resort. Is it fancy, no. Are you getting a clean, well-maintained atmosphere, yes? Before you ask, get the golf cart. Checking in and out was a breeze. Picking golf cart was easy as well. We were able to book 3 families in the pirate ship and 3 families in the 1 bedroom homestead cabins. They had picnic tables and fire pits throughout so it was so wonderful being able to put our kids down for bed and be together. The waterpark was a great size and perfect for my 3 and 6 year old. Food at pirate s cove was good. I will also say, everyone we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. Loved the activity barn! Only downside is they don t have a lot of food options, the outside activities are fun but not great for summer time. I would suggest maybe investing in some fans or misting fans. I would highly recommend staying there and we will definitely be back again!

We recently had our family reunion at Jellystone in Burleson, TX. We have had our reunion at the same place for the last 15 years and decided to change location after that park sold and we felt that our loyalty was no longer valued since they booked our meeting hall to another group, forcing us to settle for a smaller meeting hall. We decided to take our business elsewhere and this was the best decision ever! Jellystone in Burleson has the most amazing employee who helps to plan group events. Her name is Darla and she was a lifesaver! She went above and beyond countless times throughout the year long planning process and the end result was a fantastic reunion with so many lifelong memories made! This park is amazing and has so much to offer! Our cabins / rooms were awesome! We stayed in their premium cabins and the beds were extremely comfortable! They were spacious rooms and even had a fireplace! Everyone in our group were all close which made it easy to keep an eye on all the little ones playing about. I didn t hear one negative comment from our group and that says a lot since it was a first time reunion at this venue. Darla, our planner even showed up to our event (the morning of) to meet us and make sure everything was all good to go. (This was her DAY OFF, so to take the time to do that meant the world to us!) So glad she did this because the air conditioning had stopped cooling and she had the AC folks out immediately! That s what I call SERVICE! We actually had to turn the AC up because it was working so well! We all had a great time and look forward to coming back year after year for our family reunion at Jellystone! If anyone is looking to plan something like this, Darla is your girl! She pays such close attention to detail and will be a phone call away to the very last minute of your event. She is definitely a huge asset to this park. Thanks for the memories made and we are already looking forward to making more next year here! 10 STARS would be given if it were possible! Rooms: Absolutely amazing! Decorated beautifully and most comfortable beds! The jacuzzi bathtub was the best ever!! Clean, spacious and comfortable!! Nearby activities: Close to grocery stores and shopping! Safety: We all felt safe. Staff was seen throughout the day and night patrolling and this made us all feel safe Walkability: Our entire group was in close proximity to our meeting hall and this was awesome! Food and drinks: Plenty of food and drink options available throughout the park! They even have awesome wristbands to link to your ATM card so you don t have to carry cash it your card! That wristband is free of charge too! Noteworthy details: Fun place for the whole family!!

Overall we had a good experience, it was really the other people there that keep it from being a great experience. Pros: Almost everything is included in the cost of stay (with arts/crafts and food being the few exceptions). This is a great feature compared to other Jellystones that charge an extra fee for every little thing. The waterpark tied to this Jellystone is pretty decent and we had a good time while there. All the staff we came across were great and very friendly and helpful. The older section of the park has lots of mature trees providing a lot of shade. Having 3 other pools on site was super nice, especially the newer large one to handle the higher crowds during summer since the waterpark is only open 11-6. The water was also nice and chilly in the newer pool. There were many other activities available throughout the day that were included which was not expected after having been to other Jellystones (such as laser tag, gel blasters, rock climbing, ropes course, petting zoo, mini golf, etc.). I would probably recommend staying in the newer section where sites are a little more spaced out, but there is no shade. Cons: Regarding the park, the sites are a little too close in the older section to have fire pits. Our neighbor had a fire going all day every day which resulted in our camper being filled with smoke all day. With the matured trees and no wind, the smoke just kind of stagnated lower to the ground and filled a large area. Not sure why they thought having a fire all day when it is almost 100 degrees is a nice thing. Our site was on the end and was only 44 long so we could only fit our 40 camper and had to park our truck elsewhere. Luckily we were near the pool so we just kept it in those parking spots. Other folks had the same issue and just parked their vehicles half in the street. Another negative was the trash truck came to empty the dumpsters at 5AM. What a pleasant wake up call. May not effect all sites, ours just happened to be directly across from the dumpsters. The grill was terrible, not sure why they even have it. They had pizza on the menu but were not serving pizza. The food we got was clearly just frozen stuff reheated. The smaller kid section of the waterpark is definitely showing its age and could use some serious TLC. Most kids couldnt even get down the slides without getting stuck. We typically went to the waterpark when it opened and left early afternoon when it got really crowded. Other people there were a bit of a negative as well. I have not been in such a large collection of so many self centered people who have no clue a world other than them exists in a long time. A lot of it was just younger unattended kids who didnt give a single care about destroying Jellystones property. Sometimes the parents or other adults were just as bad. The drivers of golf carts all seemed to think they were in a NASCAR race as well as drove them in places they shouldnt. We almost got run over leaving the newer pool the first day there because somebodys kids were driving a golf cart on the sidewalk between the building and pool where there is a blind corner. However not all to their fault, the park has very poor signage about where to go and not to go. Not sure why so many get golf carts because the cost for them is ridiculous and you can easily walk or drive your own car everywhere within the park. The park overall is a very nice Jellystone, it could benefit from a little bit of enforcement to avoid it feeling like absolute chaos sometimes.

Hmm... Im not very impressed, to be honest. Ive stayed at far better cabin campgrounds before. These cabins are so close together that you could spit on the next one over from the kitchen window. The grounds are clean-ish. There were ants crawling inside the cabin and the wi-fi did not work in our cabin (very spotty!!), but the A/C worked well, and there was a fan for the loft area. There is no service to the room unless specifically asked. Be sure to bring your own towels for the pool and water park bc you cant take the ones from the cabin, and they dont provide any others. Im not at all impressed with security. They say guests have to pay a fee, but yet someone at the front gate let our in-laws thru with absolutely no charge. The water parks are fun for families, but again, security is a joke. You could probably spend a whole day here without anyone checking to see if you actually paid to get in. Pets are NOT allowed in the pool area. Found that out the hard way after the front desk ppl couldnt give me a straight answer. Theyre also not allowed to be left alone in the cabin without a crate, so come prepared or be ready to send your pet home (with the in-laws who were let in free lol) If youre staying on the campgrounds, check out the petting zoo and the Barn (especially glow mini golf tucked away upstairs). Archery tag was fun, too, just super hot bc its all outside. Also- renting a golf cart is worth it. $80 for 2 days minimim. Their app isnt a great download - they just direct you to the website, which is also a hot freaking mess. If your patience meter is high and youre willing to deal with poorly trained staff and the hot Texas heat --- Enjoy!!

My family and I travel very often and try to stay at Jellystone Parks since we have our 8 year old daughter. This park by far has been the best one we have stayed at!! Beautiful park, a lot to do, and the playgrounds are well placed and theres so much to do for the kids! I really appreciate how dog friendly they are and the amount of pools they have. We were here before the waterparks were open, and we didnt have time to swim in the other pools they had around the parks because we had so much we were doing in the area and such a short time. Due to that, we are going back with my parents to experience the water parks and we are looking forward to it. All the staff members we interacted with while we were here were all so friendly and helpful! **UPDATED 6/13/2024** We came back with my parents for my daughters 9th birthday and it was just as amazing as I expected. Again, so many activities, the Waterpark was a BLAST! The staff was so nice and patient. We would absolutely come back here!

Our family visits each year after our kids get off school. The new pool was opened but we were asked to leave the pool 3 times during our 3 day stay because of mechanical issues. The kids were fatigued from this ask...set up at pool, leave the pool. The two other pools on property were dirty (not like In other years) . The gel gun battle was a bust as our guns did not work, my 6 year old gel gun was ripped from his hands during the game because semi automatic was hit (hes 6 years old), then when confronted no one could answer why that happened (I was on opposing team). Drunk people were driving golf carts eratically around the pond where there is a playground. Most years Jellystone is where we fan let our kids ride bikes, walk on paths with parents in an eye sight (Not hand lengths distance) and we feel safe and there is a common understanding among campers that all are watching out for children and safety. Not this year of Memorial Day 2024, all moms were on their guard. We (group of 3 families with 8 children) were disappointed in the trip. Not sure we will revisit North Texas Jellystone as the goals may not be in line with what they once were.

We stayed here with our granddaughter the first week of June. We spent close to 1k for a campsite and full use of the facilities at the park. When we checked in we asked about friends coming to spend the day at the water park and then come to our site for supper. The lady at the gate said that was no problem. Our friends arrived today and were informed that they could pay $152 dollars to enter the facility or pay 100 to go to the water park only. I told the folks at the front desk they were only coming to our campsite for supper and were not going to be using any of the other facilities at the park. They do not allow that!! Rip off joint. We travel 6 months of the year and have been to numerous campgrounds all around the country, none have had rules like this. Never again!!

I will say the beds were way too hard for our liking, and I was quite sore the following mornings. I would also like to make a suggestion for your store. You should offer plastic ware for sale, or even a small variety picnic pack of some sort. We bought some cereal, but did not have any bowls to eat out of. They also have cereal that is packaged in a bowl. Just some ideas.

The cost of the required facilities rental is way out of hand. On top of that, the way your pricing is marketed is rather dishonest. Everything shows a reasonable nightly price until checkout where it shows the required facility rental fee. The golf cart pricing is way out of hand as well. We went through multiple carts and they were all dirty and gross. The price for a junk golf cart was absurd.

Our 1st time to Jellystone in Burleson, Texas. we went as two families. one rented the pirate ship suite\rooms. another rented family 2story cabins\suite. total of 4 adults and 6 kids. the 2story cabin wasnt ready, so they upgraded us to brand new grain Silos. to our surprise, it worked out really well. shout out to Ms Trish, Ms Dody, and the manager Tanya. they accommodated us as best they could and made our stay for 3 nights a trip remember. we look forward to returning as we plan to invite grandparents and cousins, too, in the near future. the water park was a blast. the camp grounds are plentiful with many things to do. our boys 10 through 12 in age, went fishing as often as possible. each catching and releasing about 10-15 times over the 3 night stay. their prices in the gift shop and cafe is well within reason, no need to venture off to Walmart if you need a quick thing or two. its worth the cost. we had a rental golf cart to help us move all the kiddos around. theres plenty of excitement and activities. I highly recommend.

We booked a cabin Friday through Monday. Our stay was a great experience overall. We had a plumbing issue in our cabin but Andrea got us moved over to a grain silo cabin and even let us check out at 1 instead of 11. The maintenance guy, I didn t get his name, but he was fantastic. He helped us grab all of our stuff and helped drive it over to the new cabin. The park as a whole is a perfect vaca spot. You could have a tailor made vacation and really have 3-4 different types of vacations depending on what you spend your time doing. I love the variety at the park: pools, water park, kids activities, games, outdoors stuff. It s perfect for the whole family. I really wish the large pool would have been open and the swim up bar completed. The staff were all very friendly. The only negative thing I can find to say is the app and schedule say the Kreamery opens at 12:00. When we were leaving Monday, we had everything checked out and packed and ended up getting out of the room at around 11:15. We waited around until noon so we could grab some ice cream or a shake on our way out for the kiddos and we were told they don t serve ice cream until 1pm. The guy at the other register was even taken aback when we said they wouldn t serve even though they were open. Golf cart rental is a must! Huge property with lots to do!

Overall a positive experience but let me first say that it was hotter than Hades during our 6 day stay so any of the outdoor activities were uncomfortable to say the least (but we did them anyway). That coupled with the threat of severe thunderstorms made us a little nervous in our RV in the wooded older section of the park. In fact, during a windstorm, our RV neighbor had a tree limb punch a hole in their roof. (hint to management...trim your trees). That section of the park, like me, is long in the tooth and could benefit from some maintenance TLC. The sites are spacious and about half have concrete pads. During our stay, the park was seriously understaffed and the ones who were there were busting their tails trying to serve and keep things running. Kudos to them. This problem is not unique to Jellystone as the service industry in general is struggling with labor shortages. Having grown up with Yogi on Saturday mornings, it was fun to see all the Yogi stuff around. He seems rather chipper considering he should be on Medicare by now. The newer section of the park has an amazing huge pool, a very big events center with lots to do in an air conditioned environment. The mini golf was fun. The RV sites are expansive with the only downside being no shade. With all the big rigs pulling 50 amps the power went out briefly one hot day. The teepees, silos, and covered wagon accommodations are very cool. We did not use the water park but it did seem nice but pretty small compared to the latest mega water parks. If your willing to spend the money, the golf carts are a great way to tool around the park. If fact my wife had a ball cruising around the park and considered it a highlight of the stay lol. We picked Jellystone because it was close to our family and had our 11 year old grandson staying with us and wanted to provide him with lots to do. He had a great time, loved the petting zoo, laser tag and archery. He spent a lot of time in the pool and riding his scooter. With more attention to maintenance, enhanced staff, and access to better food this good park could become very special.

We went during the week, which had some pros and cons. Pros: cheaper rates, no crowds. Cons: Everything was closed, and no fun events were going on, which was a bit of a bummer. We went with family and got 2 premium adjoined rooms. Altogether there were 3 adults and 3 teens. One room was a 1 king bed with roomy bunkbeds, and the other room had 2 queen beds and another set of roomy bunkbeds. Both rooms were nice, comfy, and clean. Good size rooms, but I favored the room with 2 queens, It was a bit larger. The beds were comfy, beautiful fireplace, nice bathroom, but a really small TV. I suppose if youre there during the weekend when theres so much to do, you dont have much need or time for a tv. The location is great, and all the employees we talked to were nice. Our key cards had problems but were eventually resolved. Even though everything was closed, we found out that we could fish (catch and release), and their poles were free of charge as long as you brought them back by 6 pm. Bait cost, but you will most definitely catch a fish! We fished off the covered dock. Theres a lot of beautiful ducks and turtles to walk around and look at. There is also a nice swimming pool. We would definitely stay here again, I loved how relaxing it felt and how quiet it was, but I think next time we will stay during the weekend so we can experience more.

Came for my daughters birthday. It didnt go as we hoped. Upon arrival, we noticed on her banner her name was misspelled, which is weird after it was spelled to them. The laminate floor was peeling. Bathroom fan did not work. Sofa needs to be upgraded. Honestly, the entire place needed upgrading. There was no table in the cabin which was upsetting. All activities seemed to be done earlier in the day, so you have to be up early to enjoy. Not much room in cabin to move about. We left a day earlier than departure date due to smell in cabin. Terrible trip, not worth the $500 paid. We could have went to Hilton and had more room and much more comfort.

This is our return trip and it was a blast. we have a 1 y/0 and a 7 y/0 grand children, plenty stuff to do for them - parks galore!!! the Barn was the best to keep them occupied while we caught our breath. Very safe and clean to let the kids ride bikes and get away on their own for a bit. Cant say enough good stuff. The pools need to open and hope they do soon back by the barn. Keep up the good work, we will be back..

We chose Jellystone for a family staycation, and while the property is nice and there are tons of things to do, none of the employees seem to know whats going on. We wanted to participate in the fishing frenzy, which said there were prizes for the most caught, longest, and heaviest. We fished for the duration of the frenzy and were curious about prizes, so I had to drive to the barn to ask someone. The first 2 people didnt have a clue. Then a gentleman comes over and says he was at the pond and gave the prizes away already. Guess the 13 fish we caught didnt count. It says in the app that campfire smores start at 8 pm, so we drive to the barn at 8:05 to buy their prepackaged smore kit and were told they were already sold out. But I highly doubt that. At $2 a kit , surely you would have more than 5 minutes worth. Just another employee who didnt have a clue. These are just a couple examples, but weve run into this situation numerous times. Wed probably stay again, but at least we know were on our own to just figure it out because nobody seems to know anything around here. Rooms: Beds are hard & uncomfortable for adults. Walkability: For sure rent a golf cart.

Fun for kids. Beds could be a little more comfy for adults. Maybe it was just our cabin. Despite that we had fun. Highly recommend. Would be better when water park is open!

The place is good my daughter really enjoyed the 3 days. First day I was worried what we gonna do because the water slide was closed the pool wasn t open. The second day we rented a golf cart and we explored the place , we found a nice little lake with a nice surroundings. There is a lot of outside playgrounds. We had a morning picnic at the lake with a lot of ducks around us it was nice. The most fun was riding around with the golf cart. The place would be better with some restaurants. I had to go out and eat dinner since we didn t barbecue front of our cabin. We rented a cabin which was nice for 150$ with a bathtub in the room. We didn t spend too much time in the house anyway. The golf cart is a little too costly but you need to have one. Our cabin was very close to the highway which was very loud and I couldn t sleep good but next time I will choose a different cabin because I think we coming to visit again.

Jellystone Burleson is still a top attraction in the region. I have been going here for many years and recently shared our RV experience with some new campers. They were hooked and found it very affordable to be in their cabin. Safety: For its size, Jellystone Burleson provides a safe environment in all places in the park.

We really enjoyed our stay but had several issues during our stay. Heres some recommendations: 1. Heated pool (several small pools open and cold) 2. Horseback riding (Id be willing to pay for this) 3. More feeding times for petting zoo ( we went twice and it was closed) 4. Golf cart rental did not coincide with reservation ( which led to extra legwork on my part) 5. Golf cart died on 2nd day (unsure how this could have been avoided) 6. Unable to access activities via app due to poor wifi connection . Rooms: Rooms are small and tight squeeze. Lofts are more suitable for young teens. Food and drinks: Food trucks were overwhelmed with customers leading to extensive wait times.

Great family vacation. Tons of things to do. You could spend your entire time on site and be entertained the whole time if you enjoy outdoor activities. We stayed in one of their glamping teepees and it was really nice. Our only complaint and the reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the communal bathroom. There are only 8 spaces for lots of people so there were multiple times we had to wait in line for a restroom or shower. It wasnt the end of the world but it was an inconvenience. If thats something that would bother you then try one of their rooms that have private bathrooms and stay away from the teepees. Still I would highly recommend this place for a family getaway.

My family and I decided to have our spring break here this year because we ve been here in the past and enjoyed the experience. We booked a cabin for the first time and the cabin is the reason for the stars given. I completely expected to deep clean my cabin upon arrival so that wasn t my issue. We didn t discover until the night of check in that the cabin had plumbing issues: 1. The toilet wouldn t flush 2. The shower wouldn t drain, leaving a pool of water on the shower floor. We were completely mortified at the thought of having to shower with plumbing issues like this because it is completely unsanitary. We don t know how long its been this either so it can potentially be buildup from other families who also stayed in this cabin. When I reached out, they sent someone the next day who tried to fix it but turned out they had to go under the cabin to remedy the issue. This is day 2 and we were informed we d be able to use the restroom and shower while they resolved the issue with plumbing. The evening of night 2 we were still having the same issues; shower stopped up and toilet not flushing. I am still here and don t check out until tomorrow but they are still working on it and it s day 3. At this point we re just trying to make the most out of our family staycation. I am completely disappointed with this part of our stay. I love the park in itself but the cabins/living quarters need thorough inspections before taking families money. I feel a bit ripped off. We paid $700 for a cabin stay for 3 nights, 4 days and have had plumbing issues since checking in!!! The beds also need upgrading. We slept on a mattress that didn t have a proper box spring and my husband and I just sank in the bed. I couldn t sleep most of the night stayed and had to sleep in the bunk bed, leaving my husband to sleep alone just so we d find a little comfort. These cabins are too expensive to be going through this. We won t be staying in these cabins again!!! Rooms: Need upgrades and thorough inspections!!!

We came during the off season (February). We had a red carpet site. Probably the BEST site we have ever stayed in. Huge, nice fire pit. Lots on the weekends for kids to do. BUT.....you cant just send your kids to do crafts or anything WITHOUT a parent. You should be able to sign a waiver that allows them to. I had just had surgery and sitting there for the simplest crafts wasnt easy. You are allowed to drop them off for a movie night. So, dont really get the difference. Food trucks were awesome. Nice staff. The list of amenities is endless. CONS: Valet garbage pick up would be nice. They need WAY MORE dog receptacles. There is nowhere to put pet waste. We threw ours in a garbage can close to our site that didnt get emptied for the entire 8 days we were there. The freeway noise is pretty loud. And we were far back. All in all, GREAT PARK. Our kids are begging to go back already.

UPDATED EDIT- I was invited out to the park again to make up for the trip we had last and to do the activities we missed out on. The difference was night and day, the service was amazing and because there were way less people there we basically had a majority of the camp to ourselves most of the time. I would definitely recommend going during off season on a non-holiday weekend if you are interested in going. We were able to do everything we wanted to do and didnt have any issues! Thank you again to Jellystone North Texas for letting us have a much better experience and make it more appealing to book again! Original post- Chose this trip as a Christmas gift for my kids, cabin was great despite the heater not working the first night which was quickly fixed the next morning. The barn had some fun activities but trying to do anything while dodging kids riding scooters and rollerskating indoors is frustrating, and when we went at the designated time to sign up at the activities shack for the shooting activities (we were actually a few minutes early) only to be told someone came 30 minutes before the signup times and took all the time slots though the day was really disappointing. It was also disappointing to be told at pirates peak that only the rock climbing wall was going to be run that day and then the man running it disappeared for 30 minutes and we eventually gave up waiting for him to return. If activities have a time on the activities list they should be either available or someone shouldn t be able to come in and sweep up all the times before signups are supposed to begin. Was planning another trip in the future but now will have to think long and hard on if it s worth it if half the activities aren t going to be available.

Rooms were clean, pictures accurate, staff was friendly, resort activities had something for all ages. Only thing, we stayed in the Preimere cabins for the jacuzzi experience . Kids were excited .. tub/jets did not work so they were disappointed. Otherwise good stay. We plan to visit in the summer and try the stay with the water park. Nearby activities: We mini golf, paid for a craft, ping pong, foosball, and did the petting zoo after we checked out for about 2-3 hours. Perfect to tire the kids out before our travel.

I would have given it 5 stars, but we are not happy. Most of the activities were canceled, yet the price stayed the same. The staff are amazing and tried their best to accommodate and make things happen for my kids, but its very disappointing to get an itinerary with things to do only to find out everything is canceled. Should have gotten a discount. We even bought an extra wristband, and they sure let us pay for it without telling us we didnt need it. Ive been trying to come here for years and now that I can somewhat afford it, Im regretting it. Im a single mom with very LIMITED income.
