Tried this place & it was just yuck! Basket of cold rolls to start with and cold butter. Chicken fried chicken had a weird texture & was inedible with luke warm mashed potatoes that had black CHUNKS of bad potatoes. The chicken fried steak was full of the chewy stuff, that no matter how much I chewed it didnt help, also served with cold mashed potatoes. The mac & cheese was inedible even for a 9 yr old boy. The grilled hamburger steak was nothing but an OVER cooked hamburger patty with a side of cold mashed potatoes as well. The roast beef was dry even with brown gravy that definitely wasnt homemade. Save your money & go somewhere else.

The porch is a most favorite place to eat because they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between including desserts. The waiters are super nice and Courteous. Parking: Their a huge parking across the street from the porch for all the surrounding restaurants in walking distance. Kid-friendliness: They do have high chairs and The porch does hand out a small small pictures and Crayons. For the kids to color while they are waiting for their food. Wheelchair accessibility: There are two steps to step on but on the left side facing the Porch, there is a ramp for wheelchairs for people who cant walk and that are in wheelchairs.

We showed up 45 minutes before closing. Normally this isnt a problem but we were a party of 9. We were going to leave and go somewhere else because the place was empty and all cleaned up. The look on their faces as we were walking out convinced is to stay. They were so friendly and wasted no time getting our orders and food out. There portions are large and it was all great. This is a great place to go for good ole southern food and great service. Prices are great too. 5 star.

After so many high reviews I was hoping for a awesome experience! Unfortunately the biscuts and gravy had cold sausage under the gravy. The steak and eggs was disappointing as the steak was like cold rubber. One thing that seemed consistent is that they are just reheating things since the meats were all cold and not heated enough. Also they brought out over hard eggs when asked for over easy. I would choose old south pancake house over this any day.

Probably would have scored a zero if it was available three wait staff walked by us and never spoke or looked at us. One of the wait staff was asked if we needed to wait to be seated she responded snarky (mumbling about something) rolled her eyes at us apparently the customer doesn t matter to this restaurant.

My family and I had dinner at The Porch tonight let me just say it was horrible. They split one chicken breast to make it seem bigger they also do this to the fish that wasnt even one filet of fish. I had the burger and McDonalds would have been way better. The portions of the food should reflect their prices!!!!! Im an operations manager and we have very similar prices and our food reflects those prices and service. It was first time to eat here and our last!!!!!!!!

These are the sweetest servers on the planet. I came in tonight to have dinner while my son was at a graduation locally, and I sat in the patio to listen to the live music across the street and they were so sweet and kind. I had a cranberry pecan salad and it was enormous and fresh I got a mushroom swiss burger to go for my son and he inhaled it and said Mkm we have to go back for another one of those! We live an hour north of burleson. The area is super busy ans trendy and very fun it seems we may have to come back soon and have another bite at the porch. Thanks girls for being so sweet to a solo diner!

Terrible service waited for an hour. Was deliberately skipped over multiple times. Then, when confronting the staff, they lied and said they called us, not once, but four times. But we had been standing by the host stand the whole time. Not once did they call us. Strongly believe their deliberate oversight was racially motivated. My partner and I was the only non-white persons that came into the restaurant the entire time we waited.

This cozy, off the beaten path restaurant serves a tasty breakfast. The Porch offers a varied menu, and we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. Marisa, our diligent friendly server, brought out our food very quickly, even though the restaurant was super busy. We brought our two dogs, so we sat out on the porch. They are very dog friendly. The waitress even brought two bowls of water for the dogs. UPDATE Valentines Day Brunch 2023. I treated myself to The Best Valentines gift today.... Brunch at my favorite The Porch. I ordered their Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and their green beans with a side salad and homemade rolls. Oh My Goodness...I ate the whole thing and Everything was Delicious!! I could go back tomorrow and order it all again. The flavor of the green beans with a lot of bacon and a little onion..sooo good. The chicken breast was outstanding with the lightest of crunchy breading. I love their side salads with ranch better than any other restaurant.. cant tell you why..they put some love in it That was Oustanding!! I always treat myself on holidays..I bring my own Happy into my life. All this for $10.81 plus tip...you cant find food this good for this price. Their service is outstanding too. The Porch is on my Favorite Burleson Restaurant List. Try the chicken fried steak....mmmm. Their onion rings you will dream about!! I also enjoy their sausage gravy and biscuits..try it. My family and I love the porch. But lately it has been a miss on the service. This morning we sat in there for 35 min before someone even acknowledged us. The waitress finally came and took our order. All I wanted was a slice of cheesecake and my dad wanted SOS biscuits and gravy. Watched another gentleman come in and be sat down and his food brought to him why we were still waiting. An hour into being there the waitress comes back and has just a sausage biscuit for my dad. this place was so warm and homey. my son and i had a lunch date there and our server, who s name i sadly didn t catch, was amazing and attentive. the food tasted great and fresh. the homemade chips were perfect. the chicken tenders were light and flavorful. the burger was AMAZING. the portions were definitely worth every penny. we left full, satisfied and will DEFINITELY be coming back.

I went to The Porch with 2 of my adult children & a service dog. Because of having my daughters dog we chose to eat outside. We were blessed with many of the staff attending us (even though we were the only sitting out). Our glasses were always full & our food, 3 different menu items, was served hot and in a timely manner. Best Onion Rings ever! 9/2 Still amazing Onion Rings but I had my first bad experience. The service was great as usual, but they left out my gravy for the chicken strips. I always get take out so going back wasnt an option. I called back and received an apology but they didnt offer any kind of compensation. Also they use those cheap flimsy styrofoam take out containers and even though I handled the order very carefully the Cole slaw juice spilled all over the second order. Im very disappointed. Update 9/11/23 We ordered takeout and when I got home they left out the gravy again. I should have learned my lesson last time. This place has great food and the Employees are great.
