Theres no shade in kids play areas, and the mulch gets in your sandals or on your shoes. Kyle has a great shaded area with 2 age group play areas with soft grounds for kids to run. Playground: Buda playground subpar for kids to play in full sun. No bueno.

What a beautiful park with a splash pad. The little mermaid production was wonderful! Would definitely recommend! Playground: Good for small kids like 5-12 maybe a litter younger. Picnic area: So much seating and multiple grills

We have watched a few live musicals at the amphitheater and it has been a HIT with the kids :) It s Texas so the evening shows are gonna be a little toasty but as soon as the sun is down for like an hour or so, it s not so bad. Maybe bring a fan and water to beat the heat. We also frequent the park with our family of all differing ages and we love it. They planted gorgeous young trees that will one day be beautiful giants that offer great shade. As with most Texan parks, I wish they had built-in shade that wasn t just trees. It s opens and lovely and I understand aesthetically why they don t want to build shade over the parks but kids just roast out there after like 15 minutes of play. My kids like the splash pad and it s a fun reprieve from the heat but still - parents are left standing around in the heat and I feel like it could be better! Overall, we do love the park here!

Pretty chill area that has a good splash pad for the kiddos along with a fun playground. Nice covered basketball court and a good walking track near by. Large area to roam around if you need more than than those things. Bring sunscreen and take time to enjoy getting your feet wet.

Went for the first time today and was very impressed. Great splash pad (and you could smell the chlorine so I was confident it was clean water), covered picnic tables, restrooms, smaller kid playground area and larger kid playground area. Only things that would make it better are more benches closer to the play areas (we brought chairs), and some more shade. Parking is convenient and nearby so you re not having to lug stuff far away. Highly recommend!

The Buda Amphitheater & City Park is a fantastic public space for such a small town! Located just a block from downtown, and a short drive south from Austin, its a gorgeous area. Its easy to get to from I-35 and the green space is beautiful and welcoming. My wife and I recently attended the 27th Annual Buda Wiener Dog Races hosted by the Buda Lions Club, and the venue was an ideal setting for the event. The BBQ Cook-off, the outdoor setting for vendors and the pavilion housing the food booths were all well accommodated. The amphitheater itself was perfect for the entertainment and an impressive facility. The races themselves were a blast! Bailey made the finals in her first outing, but got distracted in her last race. Well try again next year.

Such a nice park. The city of Buda has done a great job with this one. The facilities are well maintained. The grounds are fairly accessible for those with mobility issues. There is a large amphitheater and field for events. Really great park for the small town of Buda. Playground: Several play areas for Kids of varying ages. Small slide for the Littles, and huge slides for the bigger kids on the other end. There is also a splash pad that runs in the summer. Sand volleyball court also. Toilets: Large restroom facilities that are kept clean. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome. Picnic area: Abundant picnic tables with shade and BBQ

Great playground with multi leveks and nature play! Almost all of the equipment is wood!!! They even had seesaws! They had a splash pad, but it seems to be closed for the season. My son says the bathroom was clean and they had a water bottle filling station. My kids did not want to leave this playground!

City of Buda does a great job of creating a relaxing place to hang out with family and friends. Its well maintained and clean restrooms, splash pad, volleyball court and playscape so everyone can enjoy their stay. They have several tables so people can even have birthday parties with BBQ grills. Football, baseball, basketball practices are all part of the fun. You can even go to their website and register and reserve a spot.

The best farmers market is under the shaded pavilion (basketball court) every Sunday 10am-2pm! It is so enjoyable to be under the cover and actually get to sit and enjoy some snacks instead of roasting in some parking lot and running for your life afterwards! Did I mention that there is not only delicious food, coffee, and creative things, but there are PLANTS!!

If you sit to watch a show, be prepared to have fire ant bites. No matter what we did, we had lots of ant bites. We tried moving, standing up, sitting on a blanket, sitting in chairs on a blanket. Still got eaten alive. Beautiful place though.

Great place to take the kids or go for a walk. This location has a splash pad, which does great for cooling off from the summer heat. Theres a volleyball pit and picnic area and tons of space for multiple activities. Playground: Play area is great but does require adult supervision some areas not recommended for toddlers. This is a really nice addition to the small town of Buda. The new stage and sound system make a great venue for outdoor concerts and plays. All facing out to a huge open lawn. Bring a blanket and enjoy! Toilets: They are usually clean.

This is a great park in Buda. Plenty of restrooms, picnic tables, neat and clean, fun area for kids with lots of equipment including a splash pad, rope climbing, slides, etc. The city hosts concerts at the amphitheater and fun events throughout the year. Food trucks and a walkable downtown. Short walk over to the citys new library and to Stagecoach and Bradfield park areas. Buda is a great town, and its focus on quality of life for its residents is evident!

This is literally the best park in Hays county. They have a splashpad in the summer and the park has lots of fun equipment for the kids. The pavilion always seems to have fun vendors on the weekends. The amphitheater and lawn is fantastic for events or to just take your kids to have a big space to run around in. They have great restrooms as well.

Buda Farmer Market opens at 10 AM on Sundays. It is worth a visit. Very nice people, an inviting community environment, refreshments and allot of healthy food. Flowers too. Walking distance from the shops and restaurants on Main Street. A good Sunday. Playground: And a little water playground for the kids on a hot summers day Toilets: Across the park Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed. Picnic area: Apart of the park.
