I ordered the carne asada. At first taste the food was not too fresh and the portions size was not verybig. The flour tortillas were also kind of crusty and had a flaky texture. Despite this, the steak had some flavor and tasted great.

We went for a late lunch so only one other table was occupied. The first thing two of us noticed was the strong smell of cleaning chemicals. My child felt a headache come on from it. The woman who served our table was warm and attentive. Neither my husband nor I enjoyed the enchiladas. He got beef and I got shredded chicken. The salsa and guac were amazing. However, the main irritation was that they charged $1.55 when my husband asked for jalapenos for his nachos. This was not mentioned as an extra cost and is usually free. They also charged $1.99 extra for his queso on his enchiladas but they at least mentioned that would be an upcharge and we were prepared for it. The special of the day was advertised as $7.99 but our receipt says we were charged $8.23. I ordered nothing extra to increase the price. All in all, the service was warm and the salsa and guac were both fresh and delicious but the entrees were just okay and the were unexpected charges like the jalapenos and the higher price on the special of the day.

This place seems like a hidden gem. The food and environment here reminds me of when my family and I went to Terralingua, a town near the border (the closest weve been to Mexico). I had Taqueria El Sol fajitas and an enchilada. The food seemed authentic and it tasted pretty good. The table service was great. Seemed like everyone was at least bilingual. I asked for fresh jalapeño and they brought me a generous serving. I ate nearly all of them

The food was okay. It definitely was not fresh. I had the flauta combo which came with beans and rice (these were good), sour cream, guacamole (was super watery and made me think it came out of the freezer I love guac and I did not eat it), and flautas. We have never eaten here, since we moved we thought what a great opportunity to try it. We were greeted with friendly faces and a warm greeting. The waitress was very friendly and produced our drinks very quickly. The chips and salsa were very good, they brought two different salsas to the table and both tasted very good, one was very flavorful, and chunky the other had heat and was very savory. The food came out quick, hot and fresh. I had the chicken fajita taco on corn tortillas, amazing..The green sauce that came to table durning the food was very spicy and tasted wonderful. We will be returning to this place.

Been here 4 times total. Recently had the Enchiladas Verde and the Barbacoa Tacos and both were good. Some minor notes : Personally Id like less cheese and more sauce on the enchiladas. Re chips and dip, the mild sauce is too tomato-ey and the spicy sauce too onion-ey. The queso is meh. But pretty good overall.

Let me just say how do you serve spoiled refried beans and pretend you didn t know that they had been sitting out since the morning of that day what made it worst that the waitresses were just standing by the bar area just staring and not fixing the problem till I had to say something loud and my appetite was ruined and the cashier has the nerve to tell us if we get sick that the restaurant has insurance if we need to go to the hospital smh this was not professional period I m very disappointed with the service I have called the health department and I was charged 37.00 for the disgusting food never ever will we eat there if beans were spoiled just think how the kitchen must look and the cooks probably don t care either

I really was hopeful as this place was recommended as awesome. My order was to go Chicken verde dinner with fajita meat. Didnt take too long to get my meal got home and dug in. Enchiladas were good. Meat not so much. Had zero flavor eventhough it looked grilled. It was dry. Rice was awesome as was the refried beans but I kinda figured they werent homemade but very similar to the kind you can buy in the bag at heb. Salsa was good. I was just so hopeful. Not the best nor the worst. Just average. Friendly staff though.

Food was only ok. The issue is I order 2 tacos, wife 2 tacos and when I went to pay I waited for 10 mins and then went and sat back down Waited a few mins and then went back. Still Noone stopped to ring me up just walked by and looked at me. The third time I went up she said sorry sir ill help you and rang me up and it was 48 dollars. I said maam that to much for 4 tacos and water to drink. She said sorry ill fix it and said it 15.68. I gave her my card and she charged it handed me the ticket and walked off. I went to add the tip and noticed she charges my card $75.68. I waited for 10 mins before she came back out. I showed her and so she gave me 60.00 bucks cash out of the register. I didnt leave her a tip and wont be back I feel like she did it on purpose just trying to run a little scam.
