If youre from Bryan youll always see a familiar face here. Service depends on whos working. And the food is good at a reasonable price. Parking: The parking get filled fast. Not enough parking for the capacity of the building. And it somewhat hard to turn left while leaving. Wheelchair accessibility: It has at door handicap parking and the staff is willing to help you as much as possible.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Wide variety of plates. Dishes vary from breakfast tacos, specialty Mexican dishes, and combination plates. We love the barbacoa tacos and the menudo they serve only on the weekends. If you dine in you will get complimentary chips and salsa with variety of salsa choices. Our favorite is their green salsa because of how spicy it is.

Food is good at a fair price, but they apply a significant credit card upcharge. You ask how much it is and no one will comment. Seems to be about 10%. Pay cash and your waiter has to take your payment so it can take significantly longer to check out.

Place is really nice since I ve remodeled and cleaned it up. Some looks nicer from the outside with the new deck. Got here about 930 Sunday morning ordered Caldo and two tacos and left at 10:15 because all I ever got was iced tea when I showed up, nobody was here two people in the dining area. By the time I left the dining area was packed And I still had not gotten my food. Iced tea was excellent. Chips were tasteless and salsa was hot by temperature and had zero flavor would ve liked to try this place but this is the second time and last time because it s continuously the same service another note their air-conditioning is never on and it is always warm insideat least a couple times I have been first time I thought it was just maybe during the remodel but now it s done and it s still hot in the restaurant

Ive been coming here for a long time. Ive had nothing but the best service from Laura! I come faithfully every weekend and through the week for breakfast at times. Today for the first time I received the most awful customer service being here. As I sat watching the server, she attended to all the other 4 tables but mine once I got our food. I sat the whole time waiting for a refill for my drink and chips- NOTHING. While I again watched and heard her ask the other tables for refills or chips. Then when getting ready to leave (still nothing to drink), I go to ask for a to go cup with a refill and I was given an EMPTY to go cup! Exactly what did I have to put in my cup??? So for the first time, I didnt leave a tip due to the lack of customer service and attitude given! This is a small, apparently family owned and run restaurant. The food is good. I even got a to go order of their salsa to take home because it was so good. It was mild with respect to spice level, but VERY tasty. The prices were definitely on the low end of anything I have had lately. I would recommend this if you are looking for comfort food. Sadly, after a hiatus from eating here due to poor service in the past - we tried eating here again as a family. Our family of five was charged an automatic 15% gratuity on our bill even though the menu states parties of six or more plus their adding machine rounded up the charges and we were charged more than we should have been for the final bill. This was your last chance and unfortunately you failed terribly. We will not be eating here again and will discourage our friends and families to visit here.

I recently visited La Botana for the first time and overall was very happy. I ordered three tacos, pastor, bean and cheese, and huevos a la mexicana. All of my tacos were delicious! Two would have been enough for me. The tortillas were warm and fluffy and I was satisfied with everything I received. The eggs were cooked well, the pastor was perfect, not too dry and seasoned really well. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was how long it took to get my tacos at the drive through. Staff was nice, but it just took way longer than I thought it should have, especially during a morning rush. Ill definitely be returning.

They have many, many menu options so be ready to be overwhelmed but in a good way. This was our second visit and we were there around brunch time. Food here is mediocre at best. It really seems that they really dont care if the food they serve is well received. Quality is not what they value most. It really appears as if they are just trying to get the maximum number of people in and out in the shortest amount of time. In addition to mediocre food the service is pathetic. You will see the wait staff twice. Once to take your order and once to bring your food. Do not expect refills on coffee, tea, water or anything else. The only reason this place stays busy in my opinion is because of its location. If you want good Mexican food and great service there are other places to get that. This is not the location for that!

I have lived by this restaurant for years. Never tried before. Mainly because it looks dirty from the outside. But it is always packed and the drive thru always has a line. The food was great. First time there, I had migas plate. Husband had a burrito. Both were satisfied with our food. 2nd time, we had fajitas. Again, it was great. Only complaint is I wish they would fix the ceiling and maybe refresh the paint. The ceiling looks like it going to fall down any day. And the paint makes the place look dirty.

Okay guys. I have to be honest here. Ive tried La Botana about 7 years ago. I swore Id never go back but I decided to give them another try. I was concerned about what I would see this go around. The last time I went in to La Botana the place was disgusting. The ceiling tiles were all moldy and dusty and the food was not so great. Well this second go around unfortunately was not much better. However I did see that they had replaced most of the ceiling tiles but there were still several moldy and dusty ones lingering about but it did look better inside. Thank goodness. The food is still so so but not great. A lot of people seem like this place but me being in the food business myself Ive developed an eye for quality and cleanliness. In my personal opinion I would not recommend going here to eat.

First time there. I ordered to go and got home with someone else s order. Drove back across town and told them, and said I would dine in. They made it right. It was very good.
