Love Jesses, Jesse himself is a great man, always greats you as you walk in and so does his staff. My family and I have been going here since they opened for our breakfast taco fix. Would recommend to anyone wanting really delicious food and great customer service. My wife and I also enjoy their lunch menu for dates! Parking: Parking in the front or the back, plenty of space for everyone! It can get busy for breakfast, thats just how good they are!! Kid-friendliness: The whole staff is welcoming of singles or families alike.

I love Jesse s! I was in the restaurant with a broken hand when I ordered chicken fried steak. It was after my food was delivered that I realized that I could not cut it up. Jesse also came to the same conclusion and sat with me, prayed for healing of my hand, and cut my steak into bite sized pieces.

I love this place, the food, and the people. Jesse has been a friendly face in my life since 1993, when he managed another restaurant. His infectious positivity and love of The Lord, his customers, and spreading joy is admirable. His taqueria is one of my favorite places to eat. Do yourself a favor and go by there!

Quickly stopped by to grab some breakfast tacos. Everything we tried was phenomenal, the type of tacos that just warm your heart. Make sure you get meats on breakfast tacos, every meat they serve is delicious. The building itself is very crammed though, and a bit overstimulating, they are bursting at the seems with customers! This was my first and last time coming to this establishment. The lay out of the restaurant is very confusing. One has to go against the flow of traffic to order. I was directed to the menu and after ordering the #1 Enchilada plate, I was told they only had tacos. I asked the waitress what came with the tacos, even after her explaining it still wasn t clear. The food on the server line did NOT look fresh and at the least looked very questionable. I ended up ordering carne asada and potatoes however, what I got was dry brisket. The food was extremely bland. Only after eating my food did I realize that they had cheese and rice which I would have wanted with my food. My boyfriend ordered the street tacos but was given burritos, which was one thing they said they didn t have. The street taco plate included rice and beans as a side but they were turned into two burritos and we were charged separately for each. Our meal was $40.00 in total. Also, a family came in excited to try food off the menu as they were sent by a friend that loved the restaurant. They ended up leaving extremely upset. I was very excited to try this local eatery but will not be back.

So, let me start by saying that the pork asado was very, VERY good. I also bought a steak fajita taco, rice, beans, chips and queso, and a fountain drink. Again, the asado was yummy, but the steak was pretty bland and rubbery. The rice, beans and queso were all generally acceptable. My meal was $29. What?? I made the choice to go there, knowing it was expensive, so its on me, but $29?!? As I leave the restaurant, there is the owners new Corvette parked out front in a reserved spot. Im familiar with his story and wouldnt deny him his success, but $29?!? Ill make a different choice next time. Theres better and more reasonable tacos in BCS.

I eat here about once a month. They have wonderful breakfast & lunch tacos. My personal favorite dish is the chilli relleno. I also like their enchiladas. Everyone is so friendly. Jesse himself is always happy to greet you. The place is small and ordering can be a bit confusing for first timers. There are only a handful of tables. Parking in front may be limited at times but there is additional parking in the rear. I highly recommend this establishment when in the mood for tex-mex.

First, I love that there is a prayer request board here. I commend this establishment for supporting Brazos County effort to end human trafficking because it is definitely an issue close to my heart. It was clean and the decor was nice. Very small place, the tables are crowded in and dont give much space for people to sit back to back unless the patron doesnt have a big frame. The menudo was a let down. It was pale and didnt have much flavor at all, a lot of salt almost fixed it, also over priced for the size of bowl given. I ordered a Mexican egg with bacon too. The plus was lots of bacon, down side over cooked egg and bacon. Also ordered a barbacoa with pico and guac. Upside lots of meat, down side very greasy and no flavor. The tortillas were very thin and crispy on the edge but just holding the tacos they tore. I hope that this helps diners from out of town. We only went because of the 5 star rating.

The owner recommended it the first time I went, and its amazing. If it was open later we would go more often, but any time Im in the area and its open I stop by. Food I got was excellent. It was very busy and felt like we were being rushed as we ordered as the person behind us had leaned over and started ordering while we were still ordering. I managed to order two potato and chorizo, bacon egg cheese, potato egg cheese. They then moved to the next person without asking if I wanted anything else. This place is always fantastic. They have a wide variety of ingredients to choose from for tacos and the salsa options are amazing as well. I don t know why it s taken me so long to write this review, because I absolutely love this restaurant!!! If you want a true local Tex Mex experience, you have to visit Jesse s tacos. The choices are almost endless here. You have everything from traditional Mexican options (such as Picadillo, Carne Guisada, Barbacoa, Migas, Chilaquiles, Pork Al Pastor & Chorizo) to your typically Tex Mex options such as chicken and beef Fajita. I love the Al pastor lunch plate and my go to breakfast taco is egg, bacon & chorizo potato (with the jalapeño green salsa). Great tamales and Churros as well. The food is amazing and the staff is even better! I have always felt welcomed by Jesse (the owner) as I come in the door, and his staff is incredibly attentive and accommodating. Today was my first time visiting Jesses after seeing him featured on the Texas Bucket List YouTube channel. To start, Jesse has to be one of the friendliest people Ive ever met. I was encouraged seeing him greet all of his customers and shaking their hands. The staff was very friendly and courteous as well. I ordered the Chile Rellano and everything was great and flavorful. I ended my visit with some Tres Leche and that was delicious as well. I was drawn here after hearing Jesses story as Ive had my struggles get the best of me and like Jesse have found freedom. Today was my first day and unfortunately my last, Jesse is such a nice gentleman and treated me very nice... The food however.... I order 2 Fajita corn tacos. Each taco was $5.50 and I added cheese, now I am used to business charging me $0.25 -$0.75 for cheese.... But $1??! Per taco for cheese? Total came out to $16+change. $16 for 2 tacos..$16 for TWO TACOS. As I previously state it, I order Beef Fajita...What cut of meat used in beef fajitas? - Steak. What cit if meat did I receive when I order my tacos?!? - BRISKET. No bell peppers, no onions... No seasoning. .. I drove back to my job and I had to throw away the food. Was greeted by Jesse and the staff as soon as I walked in. They were really nice and quickly got the breakfast taco that I wanted. (By the way is huge). So many choices to choose from. Everyone s food looked really good and freshly made. I will be going back and making this my regular place to go. Great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Seen this place advertised on my Instagram yesterday so I decided to check it out this morning. I will say they have the best tacos I ve ever had in a long time not to mention they re not greedy with the proteins your pick. My ignorance not realizing I spoke with the owner himself this morning when he asked me turning that into muscle now right! Hahaha best dang compliment to start my day. This is now my place of business for me breakfast

I grabbed salt packets out of habit, like I do with any restaurant I visit since I like adding salt. The guy came to our table with our chips and salsa. Pointed to the salt shaker on the table and literally grabbed the salt packets I had near my drink (like 4) and put them back in the salt containers near the check out. Thats not only unhygienic, but its also rude to grab customers condiments (that I would have used) and return them. If youre trying to save money, there are better ways. It just comes off as cheap to do something like that. Food was average. Ladies were kind and friendly. Wont be returning.

Came in for breakfast tacos based on other Google reviews. Not only were the tacos great (and huge!), but Jesse made us feel so welcomed. He takes the time to make a personal connection with everyone in line and addressed my husband by name and shook his hand when he gave us our order. We will definitely be back when were in town again. Its been a long time since we found a family business that made us feel like family. Go check them out, you wont be disappointed!

This is some of the best food I ve had in Bryan. The breakfast tacos are amazing and the sour cream enchiladas! I crave them every week! I plan to try everything on the menu, especially the tamales. Mr. Jesse and his wife are absolutely precious and truly care for the community.

We tried Jesses today we had seen this establishment on the Texas bucket list, we were shocked they offer curb side pick up Let me tell you everything we ate was super flavorful the tamales were delish and nice big and full.. the carne gisada was nice and spicy with big chunks of meat with homemade tortillas... We will definitely be coming back!
