The only good thing about this restaurant is the perfect fountain Dr. Pepper. Their chips are served warm, which I appreciate, but the salsa is really bland and the green sauce is gross. We ordered fajitas, and the menu brags about using only quality Angus beef. Doesnt matter what meat you use if you cook it to the jerky stage. It just tastes like gray beef and was almost impossible to chew. The toppings that the fajitas come with are standard, but the portion size was tiny. Literally 10 shreds of cheese per person. We asked for limes, they brought out lemons. Not a big deal and an easy mix up since the Spanish word for both lemon and lime is limon, but when I specified the green kind they said they dont have any. That seems small but Im a lime person on basically any Mexican food. Wont be back.

Small place was a huge surprise. Very clean and pleasant staff. But it was the food that made it. Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Go there when in Bryan, you will not regret Ok an update. Having Mexican food in Bastrop isnt the same after Coronas. Any plans of opening a place a bit closer to Bastrop??? Please First chance me and the old lady will be back.

From my experience dinning in is better than take out because me and my coworkers have ordered maybe 2/3 times a week and every time they either forget a whole taco or they mess up the ones that they did put in the order. It s frustrating because it s not like the restaurant is next door to us. I make a drive just to get their food and it s not on point.

The food was delicious! We had Bistek Ranchero, Fajita Beef Burrito, and Pollo Mazatlan. The chicken was so amazing! It has yummy poblano sauce and the charro beans were delicious. Plus, they serve green sauce that is great! Our Aggie chose this restaurant for our day trip to visit him. We will be back!

Not sure what Coronas specialty is, but I ordered some Menudo a large $14 and it was disgusting. It tasted like they took the pork right off the pig added rue to it and served it to me. The waitress was nice but it literally took 20 min to prepare a 5 min order and no one ordered before me. Won t even give them a second chance.

We went last Sunday at about 10:15. The place is tiny and jam packed. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks and told them we wanted lunch. They gave us the lunch menus. We asked for chips and salsa and it took 20 minutes before we received those after reminding the staff multiple times trying to keep in mind that they were a little busy. We finally got to order at about 1030. No one said oh were only doing breakfast so it will be a wait...we waited and almost walked out after having to flag staff down for multiple refills and more salsa since our food was taking so long. We tried to be patient since our next stop had not opened quite yet. We asked the staff how much longer on our food since people that came in after us also ordering lunch received theirs before us.They stated a few more minutes since it takes awhile for the tilapia to cook. Our food finally came out a little after 11. The food is good but the service is horrendous.We will definitely only do takeout from here from now on. Parking: They are in a shopping center so parking is extremely limited. Good luck on busy days. Kid-friendliness: They are super slow so dont go with a hungry toddler.

Delicious! Green sauce is perfect. Ground Beef Enchiladas definitely needed more cheese. Refried beans and rice were great. Carne guisada with cheese taco wasnt the best though. However, I will return for more cheese enchiladas.

Had breakfast tacos. My only complaint about their breakfast tacos the size of the potato chunks that use theyre really large a little too large to be putting on a taco. Probably about the size of a new potato. Other than that the joint their breakfast tacos they do not have the best green sauce in town but theyve got pretty good red sauce where most Mexican food restaurants in town do not have a good red sauce. But I do like to eat there.

There salsas are both great but the green sauce is AMAZING. Ive been there twice and was happy both times. Both meals Ive had were really good. The meat was tender/juicy (had chicken flautas one time and carne asada Ranchero the 2nd time) and the charro beans are yummy, but just wasnt a huge fan on the rice. Fast service and great prices as well; will definitely keep going back.

Update: Dec 10, 2021 - I always enjoy going to Corona. My new favorite entree is poblano chicken with grilled veggies. Absolutely delicious. The service is still great. I highly recommend it. Original review: Met three friends for lunch on a Thursday. We arrived right at noon and had a little difficulty finding a parking spot and the dining room was filled. I recommend arriving a little before noon or closer to 1:00 to avoid the crowd. One friend uses a wheel chair which they were able to accommodate at one of the tables. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have daily lunch specials as well as full menu. We all enjoyed our food and plan another visit. Cute little dining room was clean but a little crowded.

Actually 4.9: a strong 5 stars for flavorful food, quality, portion size, and presentation; an 0.1 star demerit for small service blip. Outstanding grilled tilapia with vegetables, possibly the best Ive ever tasted. Tilapia was perfectly prepared, brushed with butter, wonderfully slightly crispy at the edges with ideal doneness at the center. The vegetables atop the filet arrived perfectly steamed, still crisp. Great variety of veggies, all fresh: zucchini, carrots, yellow squash (all cut julienne style); broccoli, as well a onions and peppers. The kitchen knows its way around a grill and a steam basket: steaming vegetables and grilling a filet just to peak doneness is an exacting task. Rice was well seasoned and plentiful. Refried beans were good. Coronas has a limited selection of the Jarritos soda, one of which was my favorite, mandarina. The other was tamarindo.

I got the mucho plate which is a sampling of four different items. I got four versions of basically the same item and all of them were flavorless. The $3.50 guacamole was so small and also flavorless. I am very disappointed.

This place is small. Spaces were quite tight, but busy on a Saturday late morning. Got my hopes up bc I thought we were going to have breakfast but they stop serving at 11a. As a substitute, decided to have a bowl of menudo. It was actually quite good in flavor, but just lacking a bit in hominy. I like a good balance! The tripe was cut up and trimmed as Im used to and there was no bitter overbearing chili powder taste. Staff was moving quickly to get the plates out. Needed to ask for refill and a basket of chips/ salsa. Whats interesting is I saw a sign stating they charge for each basket. Maybe bc of trying times... But overall my experience was pleasant. Will give it another go since my parents are regulars here and Ill try a different plate so Im not basing it off 1 meal.
