Came here today and one of the management members came to me and was super friendly. She had thought she recognized me from another location. I confirmed it wasnt me but the fact that she was so friendly and social was awesome. The store was clean and organized and the staff was great.

Clean, employees are nice and helpful, produce is fresh, good organization imo. Reason for 4 star, the hill country fair water 16.9oz bottles always have issues. When you try to close the bottle, it overlaps easily and when you think you finally got it closed, give it a squeeze and the air still escapes. Like if I add a flavor mix to it, like Tang or Tampico, I have to be careful its actually closed so I can shake it or else it splashes and spills everywhere. That is VERY frustrating. Ive had similar issues with other brands of water bottles, but this one does it almost every bottle to me. It may be I have big hands, but I feel its the cap and threads being very small and thin as it happens to others I know as well.

Today was the day before Easter, the store totally packed with people, but I found I needed and on sale quickly. The cashier who helped me was so sweet. I might have had a little over 15 items and apologized. He said with a smile I think your good. He checked me out and I was on my way. The first time Ive ever actually been in the store because I always do online shopping. It was a very pleasant experience. Thank you again to my cashier. I wish I knew his name. This particular HEB is ok, not my favorite compared to other HEBs. The store is smaller, carries fewer items, and a lot of times out of stock when ordering online. Due to the fact they dont have a meat market, if you have a desire for thicker types of meat, especially for grilling, events, or holidays, you dont have that option. So, it does make it less desirable than the larger HEBs. They are good about compensating for mistakes made, items not received in your order, poor quality, etc...

--- 2024/03/12 17:30 --- Havent been feeling well for a few days, but needed groceries... SO did my 1st online order via the website. Just completed our pickup at curbside and headed home. Thier selling cans of snuff that are from 2019. Specifically thier grizzly mint. You can tell because the limited edition cans were a limited edition that was on the shelf around that 2019 time frame. As a loyal HEB Im highly disappointed. If youre going to sell products from 4 years ago the price should be the 4 years ago price in my opinion. Will not do business with this HEB again. Who knows what else is expired on thier shelves

A newish HEB on Texas Ave just north of 21 is a clean, well stocked store with good prices on most merchandise. The only thing missing in this store is the HEB fresh Tortilla machine so if you re looking for this hit up the store on Villa Maria.

Prices arent bad theyre actually better than most and I like there pick-up option it saves me from breaking myself and having to go into the store myself and injure my back. If any errors occur theyre kind, courteous, understanding and fix them easily and quickly without arguing with you.

Average cleanliness, spacious store, but poor quality of some items. Salami in prepared food section was brown and the slices of cheese looked like they had not bee refrigerated. Look quality of fruit compared to HEBs in higher income neighborhoods. The quality should be the same at all stores but it isn t. Curious as to why the quality of products in the low income area stores of BCS is worse.
