Size of an outhouse, priced like a Bentley! They ran an advertisement for Worldwide Day of Play event from 11 am till 1pm with many fun attractions, $10 for a group of up to 6. As of 11am when we left the house the advert was still active, but the event was cancelled, and they charged ~$24 to enter the museum. Take your kids elsewhere!

Why do they have a rule abt always accompanying ur kids but the front desk employee who brought there kids in there did not accompany her kids at all?!????!!!??? The employees kids was all up on mine and family s space i was going to cuss them out! Running around several times abt to run into me. Why are we the customers paying yall to watch ur kids!?!? Watch UR KIDS if ur going to bring them to work. We got out of there asap and went to a park instead. Its not even a museum, its just a very very very tiny playground area. Idk why they lying that its a museum cuz its not. Lame af and every kid with their parents were respectful except the kids that belong to the employees completely disrespectful to anyone s personal space. I dont need ur germy & loud children rubbing against my shoulders while im trying to play doctor with my niece! Location wasnt as advertised so small and definitely not a museum. Bathroom is a mess. Play area is a mess. Filled with germs. Waste of $36. Wont recommend bye.

The price was great. My baby had a great time. However, I wish the soft area for 0-2 year olds was cleaner. The play mat was covered in hair, dirt, etc. which is odd if it s a shoe free zone. Doesn t seem like it was cleaned in a while. Would have loved my experience more if I wasn t concerned about my baby picking up dirt.

I found this childrens museum on Groupon. We drove in from Cypress. The drive going out towards College Station is more relaxing and easier than going the opposite direction into Houston some days. We wanted a chill day since it was super hot. Our friends went to the Houston Zoo and we came here. It was a fraction of the cost & we were in AC. Win win in my book! My daughter is 7. I did feel this childrens museum was geared more for littles but she had an absolute blast. We were there about 2.5 hours. We spent almost an hour on the magnetic ball wall. That was so much fun. This place has so much potential and room to grow. I dont know what activities they have on a daily basis but they had some coloring pages, make your own jellyfish for the ocean wall and some books that fit their monthly theme. We made jellyfish, read the books and she did a lot of creative and imaginative play. I have told some friends that live closer with younger kids to check it out. I hope they expand and make it even better for kids. They have a great foundation and framework already in place. My mom was really impressed with the lactation nook for breastfeeding mothers. She thought that piece alone was really well thought out.

We were excited to go to this childrens museum as others weve been to in different cities have been great. I certainly would not call this a museum, and the online pictures make this place look huge when in reality its one small very over crowded room. Theres a small climbing area, and a few tables with toys like Legos. Definitely not worth going to, even if the place wasnt already overflowing with occupants.

It was small, but my almost 5 yr old daughter loved it! We spent about 2 hours there. She loved playing with the magnetic tiles, making a picture with yarn, puffy balls, feathers, markers and glue, and the wall that had a vacuum system to move balls through. Great fun on a hot summer day.

The staff is super friendly and the exhibits are well kept up with. Wish there was more to do for older kids. At the old location there was more room for them to run around but some of the exhibits looked worn when my daughter was 3. I appreciate the update of them in the new space. My daughter is now 8 and there just isn t a lot of stuff for her to do here now. She likes going to the crafts area and wants to come back all the time. This temporary home for it truly is more for younger kids. Hope to go to the next location whenever they move to a bigger one.

Pros: staff seems friendly and knowledgeable, clean, vacuum wall Cons: TINY, for young kids only, did not seem wheelchair friendly (though technically accessible?) Best age: 2-8 years old This is by far the smallest childrens museum Ive ever seen (and much smaller than the past two locations of the BVCM, back when we had memberships). There is Main Street, a rocket play structure, and area for those under 2, tables for crafts, and a science area. The street of Main Street is wide, but there was not space within the pretend businesses for my daughters friend who uses a wheelchair to move around. Very few kids can use a space at once. In the science area there is a wall is the highlight of the museum. There are tubes and movable elements so that you can make a path for a ball to be pulled by a vacuum. This was enjoyed by the widest range of ages. There are also very small tables for Duplo and tiny LEGO (the small ones are stored in small drawers, so avoidable by littles who may want to mouth them). There was a tiny space for train tracks (not anywhere near the size of a small train table). There is a small light table with MagnaTiles. None of these had any sort of educational information or recommendations (for example, how colors of light combine), which felt like a missed opportunity considering they target (or at least charge kid admission for) ages 1-14 years old - mostly readers. I feel like educational value sets museums apart from play spaces, but this was lacking in the permanent displays. The only thing I saw was some facts about different planets at adult eye level on the outside of the rocket play structure. Overall, it felt like many missed opportunities. The under two area is clearly visible (short wall around it) from most parts of the museum so you could mostly watch an older kid at the same time. I didnt go in this space so I cant speak to it.

Really wanted to love the new location, but after going to the old one this one was just lacking. It was tiny and cramped and missing so many of the features of the old location like the helicopter and playscape. The main street buildings were cute, but tiny and cramped with only room for a couple of kids and all the accessories for each shop was thrown all over the ground. The grocery store was the most disappointing as the only location had room to push a shopping cart and tons of food like a real store this one had no room and no appeal with just some shelves of food that were all empty and spread throughout main street. I have 4 children including 11 month old twins and when they start walking I would feel very unsafe at this location due to lack of visibility because it sort of L shaped and if you had one kid in main street you wouldn t see the other in the rocking or walking out the front door or walking out without another person. Would be nice to have a checkout point and matching stamps or something to ensure no one can leave with a stranger. Of course I would hope that wouldn t ever be an issue, but with twins this is definitely a security issue. The other main problem is the price is OUTRAGEOUS at $12/kid and $4 per adult. It is actually cheaper to take my kids to Play Oasis which is sad because that is a private business making profit. This is not an affordable place for my family. To buy a membership is $165 for my family and it does seem worth it with the new museum. We were highly disappointed!

I wasnt totally sure what to expect. I was a bit unsure about the cost because we need the largest tier. It is still less than $15 a month though. We are also looking forward to making some use of the reciprocal benefits. What made me pull the trigger is reading the review and the response from the owner that they are trying to make a larger space. I would love to hear more about this. My kids 9, 6, 4, and 1 ended up having a good time, and asked when they will get to go back. My younger kids would have enjoyed a baby doll to play with at some of the stations. I am not sure if we didnt see it but they werent sure what to do at the bank area because there wasnt any money to play with. Again it might have been over looked, but we took all the food items we saw to re stock the store but couldnt find much cookware or plates or much to actually make cafe type items - coffee set or sandwich accessories. We have the best time making meals in our play kitchen at home. The learning resources new sprouts line is our favorite for playability. Maybe an apron at the cafe, and a name tag badge at the store. They LOVED the little shopping carts. I am not sure what the activity of the day was supposed to be when we went but I enjoyed the small projects at the innovation station. I am not sure how often they change, but there was guided drawing, putting a skeleton together, exploring with magnetic objects, a scavenger hunt, building with planks and something else. I wish there was a sand pit. Yes it is small and there are things that can be improved but I am excited for the future growth.

I really wanted my kiddos to enjoy this place. They have good bones, but are lacking in some key details. The main street is there, but hardly any toys for the kids to use their imaginations. The one thing my girls would have been so excited about, the air maze system, was broken. At $10 per child and $4 per adult, we would not come back. They have a lot to learn from Playstreet Museum.

Moms just sat by talking and not supervising their kids. Not a pleasant experience for us.

Went to take the kids on a random Saturday for the first time. Pulled up, got out, they are randomly closed for the big event. No notice, no advertising on their website... Nothing. free reading the poor reviews, I doubt we will he back. Waco is pretty close and they have an awesome Childrens Museum.

Our 1st time here, we bought a membership but wished we had just done the general admission. My son got hurt and they didnt have an ice pack or a band aid so he said he didnt want to go back! The HEB shopping place, digging for bones, and the race track were my daughters favorite spots!

We were there for a 4th birthday party. It was a great place for it, with s lot for the little ones to do without competing for toys.

Everything needs a good clean and many items dont work. Its a tired place, and I dont give negative reviews often at all. The grocery store checkout was fun for the kids, but overall - no.

I have to agree with all the other parents about this place. I have been to many childrens museums and this is by far the worse one and only one I have seen that is horrible. Heres why: not enough space, thought after they moved from downtown bryan it would, but did not. To many exhibits are broken or missing items. Doesnt seem to be well taken care of or cleaned all. Really does give you a real feel of what a daycare is like. Staff does not care pay attention seem to care or want to be there. It is not worth the price. Only way I will go again is if it is free or my kids school is going on a field trip. Much needs to be improved on and a bigger place is in order with much better equipment staff that cares.

Nice little childrens museum. Staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Several activities for the kiddos to play on and with. Coloring and dressing up was fun for the kiddos and they loved pretending to be astronauts, veterinarians, and archeologists. Cant wait for the new exhibit to open up, and definitely want to catch a story time session.

Although the staff was very friendly this place needs a ton of work. Lots of broken exhibits. My child had lots of fun running around but other than that totally not impressed.

I agree with another reviewer, too any things are broken and a completely apathetic staff. I literally only saw a staff member twice (once at check in) and we were there for 3 hours. They even watched nearby as I struggled to open the door with my arms full. Im glad we got a discounted entry and that we were only visiting the area for a short while. It does look like they are fundraising for an update, hopefully it happens soon as they need it. Plus new staff training.

We have a membership that was gifted to us. I m always excited to go, but once we get there I m reminded as to why I m so frustrated with this place. Everything is always broken and the staff is apathetic.

Museum is spacious and keeps my 2 year old entertained for hours. It never feels crowded and definitely fosters a lot of imaginitave play. I never feel like I have to hover here.

The childrens museum is cute and worth going to. It just doesnt hold a candle to many of the other ones we have gone to. Their location isnt in the best part of town and the parking isnt great either. Hopefully it gets better as they grow (and hopefully move).
