Cool little stop for us on our trip through College Station. Tried a IPA flight. None of them knocked me on my feet, but a few were pretty decent. They ranked from a 1.9 to a 3.6 in my Untapped Ap, and Im a tough rater.

Great place to sit down and enjoy a local brew. Fairly open and relaxed atmosphere everyone can enjoy. The beers on tap are really good, they have a variety to drink for all beer drinkers and non beer drinkers.

Very chill brewery in BCS with tasty beers, unpretentious open space, and friendly knowledgeable servers. Hazy Lady is really refreshing, especially given the 8.5 ABV and the Contract Killer coffee porter definitely lets the coffee come thru without overpowering. Grabbed a six for home and a few items from the local artisans showing on Sunday afternoon. Horns up for such a great place in downtown aggieland!

I had the worst experience on 4/6 and will not be going back!!!! We have been there several times and loved being able to take my children there and support local! The bartender that was staffed that night was extremely unprofessional, rude, and apparently does not like kids around. I also spoke with the manager and he did not seem to care. Very sad that our group with kids were targeted. They need to do better!

First time visiting this location while visiting family. Though I think we might have been to an old location once when it was closer to campus a couple years back. Nice venue. Very open and welcoming. Staff were friendly. Beer was enjoyable; particularly the chocolate stout. Would ho again. I particularly appreciated that their flight trays completely held the glasses. Sometimes you just get a tray that s not stable. So it was a nice detail.

First time having food here. The food truck/restaurant on site is amazing. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken poking out on both sides of the bun. Cooked perfectly, still juicy. Fries seasoned in salt pepper and I don t know what. Amazing food, delicious beer and great ambiance. Will return for sure. Everyone has to say an improvement right: beer could be colder .. but nonetheless it s delicious.

Love the weekly trivia on Wednesday and half price drafts. They have a good selection of different styles of beer so theres something for everyone. The Blackwater Bites food truck is also really good, their burger and chicken sandwich are both good and the fries are well seasoned. Perfect accompaniment to a draft beer.

Really good microbrewery in the Bryan/College Station area, lots of different styles. Plenty of indoor seating and easy parking out front. Friendly staff! Board games and other activities inside to enjoy alongside the delicious beer. Option to can some of their offerings to go. Peaches N Cream was incredible -- grabbed a 32oz can to go home with me. Good spot for beer, and currently the only local brewery in the area -- stop by and enjoy!

I had the pleasure of attending a beer tasting class at Blackwater Draw. I have always enjoyed their beers, but had never been to the taproom downtown. It was a great experience! Go here, you wont regret it. The beer and people are great! Sometimes they are closed for private parties during regular hours, so double check their site(s) before visiting. Closing the Northgate restaurant was unfortunate, but try an amazing burger from their food truck!

So much could be at blackwater. Go in, grab one of their amazing glasses and get three tokens to fill up your glass three times with some of the excellent on tap beers. Sit down in a bench outside as long the main street, the beer and watch the world go by. And when you get hungry, grab an grilled cheese and truffle fries from their food truck. Just a brilliant way to spend an afternoon.

Neat little small town brewery with some interesting beers. I had a sample of their peppermint milk stout and couldnt taste much peppermint or sweetness from the lactose, it was pretty light. I then tried their pumpkin spice porter, and it was awesome. The contract killer pumpkin spice. Get it if you can find it. After that I went back and had another sample of the peppermint milk stout and it was much better. Maybe I couldnt taste it fully since I had heavy barbecue and a contract killer at the barbecue place down the street. Anyway I took the pumpkin spice contract killer and peppermint stout from their to-go cooler to bring home with me for later. Good place.

Went for the first time on First Friday. I enjoyed the space and atmosphere. They had board and yard games (dominoes, cornhole, etc.), live music, and a food truck. The employees, especially the female ones, were friendly and attentive. I sat at the bar along with only 2-3 others and there was only one time when I sat with an empty glass in front of me for 20-30 mins before being asked if I wanted another. They had two special release beers, seasonals, and their half dozen staples. The vibe was like drinking in a barn or warehouse as opposed to a bar - very open feel.
