Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at the Milton Parker Bed and Breakfast for an Aggie football weekend. Denise and Bob are excellent hosts. Their welcoming personalities made all feel right at home and invited great conversations with all the guests. In short, it was a Aggie Good Bull experience. The house exudes charm, blending historic elegance with modern comforts. The location is ideal for an Aggie football game, with a shuttle bus from Downtown Bryan dropping you off at the MSC. This alternative allows you to return to the peaceful retreat to unwind after the game without the traffic hassle. And last, but certainly not least, Denise is an excellent cook. Her mouth-watering breakfasts were amazing and so beautifully presented. She had several requests to post her special recipes on their website. That is a pretty high compliment! If you re looking for a place with character, excellent food, and hosts who know how to have a good time with great conversation, Milton Parker Bread and Breakfast is the place to be. Can t wait to return for more Good Bull and Aggie spirit!

Absolutely, the best bed & breakfast weve ever stayed in. The owners, Denise & Bob Barbier were everything a guest could possibly hope for. They were friendly, informative, and a really fun couple to converse with, making us feel relaxed and comfortable. The property and grounds are beautiful. I was just a little concerned about privacy and noise but that was never an issue. All was quiet and private. We had no problem sleeping in the very large ensuite bedroom with luxurious bedding. The breakfast was outstanding! Soooooo many choices, or just try a little of everything. Delicious! Every need you could possibly desire for an overnight stay is met. If you like to visit B&Bs or are just tired of the same old hotel stays, you have to put this one on your list! We will definitely be back for a return visit.

Fantastic BNB! A piece of local history that Bob and Denise have lovingly restored and preserved. Charm in every.detail, from the breakfast which included their own garden fresh ingredients to the architecture and furnishing. But most important is their gracious hospitality that will make your stay warm and comforting. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and can t wait to come back for another visit. We were there for our daughters & grandsons graduation from TAMU. We had an enjoyable family gathering & celebration. Denises hospitality, friendly smile, desire to meet our every need, and making sure we all had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, was truly amazing! Rooms: Rooms were quiet, super comfy, soft sheets, and roomier than expected. We enjoyed every minute. Food and drinks: The food Denise prepared for breakfast was AMAZING!!! The flavors, variety of breakfast selections, and freshness was over the top.

I highly recommend this BnB! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was delicious! We celebrated a graduation and used the indoor living space to celebrate and it was perfect, beyond our expectations. Denise and her husband are the owners and are wonderful hosts. Denise made the most delicious breakfast and the grounds and rooms are beautiful. I rated our room lower because for a few reasons. 1. There is a window at the top of the room door where light poured in all night making it impossible to sleep. 2. Train tracks run right next to the house and trains can be heard til late at night and starts up very early in the morning. The train horn and locomotives are extremely loud and the room does not have a radio or tv to turn on more soothing sounds that might help drown out the train noise. We only got about 2 hours of sleep due to the constant light and noise. If the room door window could be covered and perhaps some ear plugs were provided, the stay would have been better.

We were in town for a wedding and we booked the cottage for the weekend with family. It was a wonderful stay for our family! Bob and Denise have curated a beautiful place to stay from the bed linens to the relaxing backyard to the muffins baked every day for breakfast. We enjoyed our weekend at Milton Parker immensely. Our son even left his favorite bunny under some furniture and Denise shipped it back to us the next day :). If you want a relaxing stay in a busy BCS area, book your nights here!

The best place to say hands down if you come to Bryan/college station area. The old home of a cotton business man in Bryan this remodeled estate is one of the cutest and most traditional experiences you can have while visiting the area. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast out of this world and made fresh and the service is just astounding too. Would def come and stay here again. Such a gem in the Bryan/college station area.

What a lovely time my wife and I had at Denise and Bobs Milton Parker Estate Bed & Breakfast. We reserved the Beatrice Parker Gordon Room and it was clean, comfortable and fantastic. Denise and Bob were excellent hosts and spent time showing us the estate, sharing the history, visiting and playing card games. The breakfast was delicious. Our visit was short but we will return. Our company recently hosted our fifth-anniversary party at the Milton Parker Estate. It was the perfect event space and we are still dreaming about our amazing overnight stay and meals in the beautiful historic home. Bob and Denise were the most gracious, generous, and kind hosts. Before arriving, we received a detailed email which made checking in and parking a breeze. Once we arrived, we were given a tour of the Milton Parker Home and shown to our rooms. We asked questions which were kindly answered and marveled at the history that this stunning property held. The rooms were adorned with luxurious linens and high-end boutique bath products which elevated our stay. Before turning in for the night, Bob and Denise took great care in asking us our preferred time for breakfast, any special dietary requests, and how we took our coffee in the morning. After the most restful sleep, we made our way downstairs to find coffee and tea just the way we requested waiting patiently for our whole team to rise. We were then served the most delicious breakfast prepared fresh that morning by Denise. We ate and enjoyed our time together around the stately table framed by the perfect picture window featuring an impressive original oak tree. As we prepared for our event, Bob and Denise were more than gracious to give suggestions and help when figuring out how wed place our items for the party. They know the property inside and out and knew how to create excellent flow through the home for the type of event we were hosting. They are extremely organized and keep the house and property in pristine condition. We couldnt have asked for nicer hosts and help when setting up for our event. During the event, they were available to answer questions and helped keep order for our party. Whether youre considering staying the night, hosting an event, or both with the Milton Parker Estate, we give them the highest review. We left feeling as if Bob and Denise were family members. We have nothing but gratitude for them allowing us to host such an important event for our company.

The Milton Parker Home B&B was absolutely delightful! The owners/hosts, Bob & Denise, were the most welcoming, gracious hosts Ive encountered! They truly went out of their way to make me feel at home! The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful; the bed and pillows were luxuriously comfy; and every need provided for with obvious care. I definitely recommend a stay at this lovely B&B on your next visit to the area! We hosted our gender reveal party here and it was absolutely perfect! The historic home is stunning! It is a Bryan gem and I was so excited to book here. There is so much history and everyone just went on how beautiful it is. The location is great too. Right in downtown Bryan! Denise and Bob are phenomenal hosts and go completely above and beyond! They made sure our event was perfect and were on top of everything. They have everything you could need for an event and helped up plan it out ahead of time. This place was absolutely stunning! Bob and Denise were exceptional hosts- accommodating, friendly, and caring. My husband booked our stay for a weekend get-a-away and we hit very strong storms close to downtown Bryan coming in for the night. Denise texted us and directed us to a garage close to our location for us to ride out the storm safely and then Bob and Denise greeted us at their B&B with a fire, a glass of wine, and shared the history of the home with us while we got situated for the evening. They are not kidding when they say they are known for their breakfasts, it s both fancy in the sense that it presents like a 5-star restaurant but is home-cooked and thoughtful. The rooms and furnishings were beautiful, our room and accommodations were extremely comfortable while still preserving the charm of the home. We are definitely coming back! Can t forget the sweet dogs, too!

My sister and I booked a room for our parents 50th anniversary. They hit it off with Denise & Bob! They shared a bottle of wine, got a tour of the house and property, sat outside chatting. My parents raved about the breakfast. Yogurt granola parfait (which my mom could not get over how good the yogurt was), quiche and bacon, and a Dutch baby with strawberries. They felt so comfortable and sounds like they made two new friends!

One of my favorite places in town. This home is tucked away on a big lot, has tons of windows, big porches, old trees, and so much character. The hosts are the most friendly, warm and welcoming people, it s clear that they enjoy their guests as much as the guests enjoy their stay. I stayed here this last weekend, October 15 - 17, 2021 and it was simply one of the best places I have ever had the pleasure to stay. You might ask why or what other experiences do you have. I have traveled in and out of the U.S. and also owned a campground with cabins so I do know what I am talking about more than the average person. Denise and Bob are fantastic hosts. They will leave you by yourself if that is what you want or they will join you and have a lot of information about the area. One of the things I was warned about was the train tracks close by. I will tell you that the bed was so comfortable and I slept so soundly, I never heard the train at night. I am a vegetarian and was given a terrific breakfast both of my mornings. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

I had the loveliest stay at the Milton Parker Home Bed and Breakfast in Bryan, Texas. I was in the area visiting friends, and this grand Victorian was my home away from home. Every detail of the place was stunning, and my bedroom was beautifully decorated, spacious, and extremely comfortable. What an amazing time we had staying in the cottage behind the mansion! The cottage slept our family and friends very comfortably in the four bedrooms (there were 8 of us). The attention to detail in the decor was noticeable. We felt right at home! Denise and Bob did an amazing job on the remodel and shared great stories on the history of the property. We traveled in for the Bryan Art Show & Texas A&M Family Weekend. The home is a 10-minute walk to downtown Bryan which was perfect for us to walk to with our 2-year old grandson in his stroller. It was like taking a step back in time! Our grandson loved playing with Denise and Bobs two very well trained dogs, Booker & Echo. He also loved watching the trains go by. Our Aggie daughter came by with her friends and enjoyed a lovely weekend with us sitting by the fire-pit. Denise and Bob welcomed our additional guest visitors with open arms. They stocked the cottage with fresh eggs, milk, orange juice, yogurt, fruit and homemade chocolate zucchini muffins! We thought that was so thoughtful! They even brought over a toy lawn mower for our grandson to play with! We purchased groceries and used the well appointed kitchen to cook a big Sunday morning breakfast that we took outside to eat on the sprawling lawn. The mattresses were super comfortable and the cottage was very clean. Denise and Bob were always available if we needed anything and responded to us very quickly. The bathrooms were stocked with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We just loved our stay here and look forward to coming back again! The service was excellent, the rooms were spacious, we were close to downtown Bryan, restaurants and the grocery store. We loved the warm feeling of the cottage the most!

From our first contact via email to our final goodbye, Denise and Bob, welcomed us with gracious, exceptional hospitality, personalizing our trip with amazing touches. Breakfasts were elegant, beautiful and delicious! We felt like royalty all weekend with their sublime treatment - from offering boutique tea selections, crafted coffee, and exquisite food presentation and gourmet breakfasts, to the Becker Vineyard bath salts, cold drinking water, personal robes, gorgeous antiques and decor and a comfortable four-poster bed in our room, we LOVED every minute of our time at MPH. We especially enjoyed hot baths in the oversized claw-foot tub! As an added bonus, the hosts built a fire in their fire-pit one night and sat outside with us and other guests sharing, laughing and enjoying the beautiful evening. They even asked what wine we preferred and placed a specific bottle for us in the shared adult beverage refrigerator in the parlor. They love Aggies and welcomed our two Aggies to the property for breakfast each morning (for a nominal fee - and well worth it!!) and to explore the grounds, sit on the porch rocking chairs and just to spend time with us at their beautiful, historic home during A&Ms Parents Weekend. We highly recommend staying with Denise and Bob! Their home is spectacular! Youll leave feeling refreshed and pampered, and youll definitely add new friends to your list to boot! Amazing!!! My wife and I stayed at the Milton Parker Home this weekend. If you are looking for a couples get away or time with family...this is perfect! This B&B goes way beyond great food and excellent service. It is an experience. Bob and Denise created something special when restoring this 200 year old Victorian home and separate cottage. They want to share it with all guests who take interests. Their attention to detail and passion for life showed in all interactions. We chose a full vegetarian breakfast and were met with multiple entrees and flavors. This is extremely rare (even for established resorts and restaurants). The food was excellent. The only negative...my wife now wants to live there. Cleanliness is top of mind during this time. It was a very safe environment as well. Youll have to see it for yourself! I had the pleasure of spending two nights at The Milton Parker Home B&B. Denise and Bob are lovely, accommodating hosts providing snacks and beverages in the evening and superb advice about the best local restaurants for meals. My room, Winnie , was quiet and spacious and the bed was simply delicious with soft sheets, plenty of blankets and comfortable pillows. I slept well, and I typically don t sleep well when I travel. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe and secure. The bathroom was similarly well appointed, with plenty of towels and a soft robe. Breakfast deserves a separate paragraph. Denise listened to my preferences (that I shared when making my reservation) and prepared lovely meals that fortified me for my busy days of meetings. They also have a wide variety of loose leaf tea, which is a treat. The Milton Parker is close to downtown Bryan, an easy walk to explore the stores/restaurants to support local businesses. College Station is a quick drive down the road. I can t wait to return!!

This is an amazing property and Denise and Bob pour their heart and soul into it. The home and entire grounds were immaculate!!! Denise and Bob are excellent, and gracious hosts. Breakfast was amazing. You could not ask for a better experience.

What a special place this is! The hosts (Denise and Bob) are very special people and extremely welcoming to their guests. They were invaluable in providing local knowledge and recommendations that made our stay even better. The rooms are great, well appointed and very comfortable. We felt very comfortable and relaxed while in the house and all of the details were well thought out. I doubt there is anything that travelers could need or want that is not available to make you time here most gratifying. The food was very good and very nicely presented. We highly recommend a stay here and enjoy a great house and of the history therein!

I recently hosted a luncheon and reception at the Milton Parker Home in honor of my daughters graduation. The party was great. The home is beautiful and elegant, but also welcoming and comfortable. The innkeepers, Denise and Bob, are friendly and made sure everything was executed according to our wishes. The home has a spacious kitchen, a large beautiful formal dining room, and multiple seating area in the parlors which easily accommodated our guests. My family also stayed at the Home for several nights around the event. The guest rooms are absolutely beautiful. The stay was pleasant and relaxing. I must also mention the delicious breakfast served each morning. I highly recommend the Parker Home for a stay or as an event location.

LOVED my experience at the Milton Parker Home Bed and Breakfast! I graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2018. I was fortunate enough to be able to have my graduation party at the LOVELY Milton Parker Home. The party was held on the lawn of the B&B, and guests and myself VERY much enjoyed the atmosphere and environment. Set up was made easy, as tables and chairs were provided. The owner, Denise, kindly gave me free reign to set up and decorate as I pleased. My mother and I continue to receive compliments on the location and party to this day. The interior of the home, the same as the exterior and lawn, is gorgeous. As I walked from room to room I could not help but say WOW with a continuous jaw drop. The Victorian-style home is incredibly cozy and has been renovated to ensure utmost comfort for guests. You are sure to have a wonderful time at Milton Parker Home, and the owners will help make your stay as easy and comforting for you! A stay here will not be regretted, but most importantly will not be forgotten!
