Showed up 1 hour before closing and hostess was very rude talking about no seats available when we see plenty and says some staff have gone home already and only 1 section open...so how is that the customers fault...finally got seated 10 minutes later and waitress looks upset too.sad thing about it is that we werent the last customers a family of 8 people and a another couple came in after us to eat.

Dinning in is a better experience everytime I do a pick up order though, that s where i always have issues something is always missing or wrong and then to fix it I have to make time to go back and I just hate it is it so hard to not forget to include something I paid for? I ve learned my lesson and done loosing money by paying for things I never get and for some reason there s always an excuse to not give me back the funds

Food was great! Our server Cassandra was awsome. Brought our drinks and food in a timely manner. The frozen margarita was very good and my friend really enjoyed the Texas tea. Cant wait to go back and try the deserts! You get your moneys worth at Cheddars!

I m not one to speak negatively about my experiences at restaurants. But hope this restaurant can take this as constructive criticism!!! The management needs to work on its professionalism and cleanliness. I ordered a pasta with a side salad and had a bug in my salad. Spoke to the manager named Nicole but did nothing to remedy the issue!!!! The Kitchen staff needs to be better trained to handle food and to prepare it properly and the manager needs to know better on how to handle the guests. Terrible customer service and definitely will not be going back. Would not recommend!!! Zero Stars 0/5

Honestly I dont know what going on with the food. The carrots in kids meal looked and tasted horrible. The chicken Alfredo was missing the bread. The beef in the cheese dip was like dry overcooked meat..didnt even look like meat and chicken was burnt. No utensils either on to go order. Really disappointed.

We decided to go to Cheddars because we usually go to the one in McAllen. The service was great. However the food was not so good. I love Cheddars baby ribs, but these ribs were dry even tho it had BBQ, not just mine but my wifes as well. We wanted Mac n cheese for the kids and they ran out. Kitchen manager needs to do a better job.

We were sat in the far back room. The floor was terribly dirty. Much so that both husband and grandson commented. We waited 15 min. to be asked if we had been waited on. The food was good. Three tables sat uncleaned for the duration of our meal. We went to the kitchen to get our to go boxes. The mens bathroom was in need of cleaning. Upon leaving these issues were brought up to the hostess. Her reply was Oh. Pretty sad.

One of the worst experiences from an upscale restaurant Bad from the start had to move from the table we were sat at. We ordered and had to ask for cutlery after appetizer served.The Best part was the butter honey croissant. My fries were cold and the burger was bland Even the Bacon on my burger had no taste. The only bright spot was the beer and they couldnt screw that up

I am getting more and more disappointed with the quality of restaurants. Scratch Kitchen caught my eye so I have really wanted to go here for a long time. Finally did. Big disappointment. My fries were cold and although the burger was a half pound. It was dry with no real flavor to speak of. Our white fish was tasty and hot but it was just thrown on a plate with no garnishing to make it appetizing. Reminded me of going to a school cafeteria and having the kitchen staff toss the fish on my plate with great disinterest and lack of enthusiasm. So many restaurants these past few years have really dropped the ball and this is yet another disappointing meal that I was reluctant to open my wallet to!

Im not one to give bad reviews, but cmon, man! I explained that I was on a sugar-free diet, and I ordered a ribeye with 6 grilled shrimp and got a ribeye with little to no sear and was overcooked. The shrimp came on a bed of rice that i didnt ask for and a sugary dip that spilled all over the shrimp and my steak. I also had to get up to get my drink refilled. Didnt complain there or ask for my food to be redone or refunded because I know how some of these cooks are when they have to redo your food. And the way the service was theres no way Im trusting cheddar with my food. Im never going there again. I hope you dont either!

Went to Cheddars tonight. Tried the Maui Margarita drink. It was delicious. Sat at the bar and my spouse and I were attended well by Ms. Veronica( Bartender) We ordered the trio appetizer and it was so yummy. Thanks @ Cheddars for a nice quick snack. PS: the croissants are too die for !!!

1st time here. We were on 2 tables. Food was Great!!!! Service..... what service??? Was horrible, not just on my table, but my wifes table as well. I thought it was just me, nope! Ordered water, never brought it, so I insisted on it, til I got it. Your given 1 napkin, I had to request more, 1 is never enough for me, especially if you order the ribs. On Feb 2 2024 around 7pm, Brownsville TX, I was having shrimp with fries which it was ok, the problem was at the end when I discovered the plate under the wrapper was a DIRTY BAKING PAN, not even a regular plate!!!. Atmosphere typical Cheddars, on a Friday we only had a 10-15 min wait, service was amazing, drinks was never empty, food was ehh, sons steak was a little undercooked, mine was very small, but was cooked perfectly, wifes blackened salmon was perfection, and daughters Alfredo was top notch. They really need to hire more people to accommodate the client. ALOT OF empty tables and guest standing around waiting to be seated. My server was no were to be found never got my croissants, needed to ask another server to get them for me and she instead went to go look for my server who was probably stuck in the kitchen helping the cooks. I STILL got my food before my croissants!
