I came in from out of town on a work assignment and stumbled across this place. What a lucky find! The food was incredible and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I would ve had to have paid at least double for food of this quality back home in Florida. The service was good, but I had to give just four stars because they only had two servers working the entire bar/restaurant and they were so busy there wasn t time for them to be as attentive as we would ve preferred. But that didn t take away from our satisfaction. I was a bit surprised to find that gazpacho soup wasn t on their menu. Vegetarian options: It is not a huge vegetarian menu, which was fine for me, but my co-worker (who is vegetarian) was content with her options. Parking: It is in a strip center

This eatery is easy to find. We celebrated my nephew s birthday there. Our waiter was great. We were a table of 8 and they seated us in a very awkward spot. I kept feeling people s rears as they walked past to and from the bathroom etc. The nopalitos with cheese and chicken in the pic was amazing. The food was good, the wait time, not so much. Oh and the poblano soup was amazing. They were amazing and brought out a slice of chocoflan for the birthday boy without us asking. I will definitely be back to try the tapas. Go to Gazpachos I think you ll like it!

Went there ready to be impressed. Was not. Burger was dry, and the fries greasy and undercooked. The chicken nachos were just ok nothing tasty. And my dessert order, a soft moist cake was cold and hard from jus coming out the fridge. Service was friendly but a lil slow. Ambience is nice with chill vibes and good music. But I wont be back

Had the September Special of Chile en Nogada. It is a Mexican dish comprised of a poblano pepper stuffed with picadillo & dried fruit. The garnish on top (walnut sauce, pomegranate seeds, & parsley) represents each color on the Mexican flag, as the dish commemorates Mexican Independence. Fantastic dish! Tastes so good! Very distinct flavors of sweet, salt and savory with a touch of spice all in one bite.

We entered and waited 10 mins before the server dropped off menus and said she would be right back for our drink order. 20 mins later she returned and since we had plenty of time to look at the menu we placed our orders along with our drink orders. I ordered the ceviche and soup/ sandwich combo, the wife ordered a chicken breast with veggies. 20 mins later the server dropped off a bowl of soup with a film on top. Thats all. No drinks, we didnt even have silverware to eat the soup with. 5 mins later we had had enough and walked out. Didnt even get a chance to try the food.

Perhaps my husband and I would ve had a lovely time if we didn t go so soon after the holiday? But short staff meant no refills on our drinks even though we kindly asked. A 20 minute wait for our ticket after we kindly asked, which we had to get up and go to the bar for if not we would ve been sitting there just waiting for it. Almost an hour wait for a hot sub and cold sandwich. I give it 4 stars because the food was good but the over-all experience was not.

This a very nice casual restaurant. It is reasonably priced. The service was that of a five star restaurant. As was the food. The Angus steak was so well prepared that it would be a crime to put any steak sauce on it. The crème bulei was very tasty and the custard was excellent. The presentation was far one of the best Ive seen. Great place for the family, on a date or just to chill with friends.

The Botana Española appetizer was not that great.. Just ham, roast beef, and cheese in a plate. I expected something more to be honest. Other than that, the food was great. I ordered shrimp tacos. Yummiest! I also ordered pepino/cucumber martini. The first one was super yummy and I definitely tasted the alcohol. The second martini of the same flavor was not that great and I couldnt taste the alcohol. Id go again though. Relaxing restaurant. Nice music. Nice decor.

Wow! Today, I picked up some ceviche for curbside pickup. I paid with card, and started to leave, but Oscar the server flagged me back. Apparently, on that day, tapas were 50% off and he was quick enough to catch the situation as well as honest. His honesty and kind service encouraged me to give him a fat tip! Loved the Pablamo soup first time ever had it. Great atmosphere with waiters dressed sharply in black and white like in Europe. Art on the wall is for sale and is fun to see. I frequent this restaurant about 2-3 times per month. The food is always great, the service top-notch (by Lilly) and atmosphere is very pleasant. Their menu has a wide variety of food as well as the pricing is just right. Other employees such as Juan C. is very attentive. Try it, youll love it Im sure. All I can say is this, EXCELLENT MARGARITAS. They have some of the friendliest service and the food is excellent. I will return there when I get back. The food was excellent, the overall feel of the place was something not normally found in Brownsville.

I was in town on business and wanted to try something off the beaten path. I read reviews about Gazpacho s and decided to try it out. I had the Gazpacho s ceviche which was fresh and delicious. The big draw though, was the poblano soup! Oh my! There aren t words to describe the flavors. Put it this way...I couldn t stop thinking about it, so on my lunch break the next day I went back for a bowl of the soup and the delicious bread and cheese spread. I can t wait to go back to Brownsville to visit Gazpacho s again!

It has a nice vib inside, nice music, good drinks...but they do not know about the food they are serving! I asked for a type of Tapas and they served it with tortillas!!! What in the world!! Dont get me wrong, i love tortillas! But no for tapas!! For dessert i asked for the strawberry/nutela crêpes...zero details to how they serve their food: it was put together by a child for all the finece it presented. Too bad because they have a good thing going with the atmosphere
