Had a very bad experience unfortunately, I would not recommend it, I actually had peers of mine not recommended it but I wanted to give it another try ive gona before and I thought the food was not bad , it was such a disappointment their staff is the worst I went to the store to order food for me and my family and they did not give me my order of tacos and I shouldve checked I just trusted they would be in my big since again I ordered them and PAID for them. I got home tacos were no where to be found and I was very upset that I call them to explain the situation nice and calmly and they were like you shouldve checked because they have a sign that is the worst kind of service that a taco place would not give you the tacos you paid for . I think for me the most upsetting is I live far and I went over there for the food and for my dad to not even eat we had to share from our food, I cant just go again and drive another 20 mins and back , I called them and they were very rude how they handled the situation assuming I was a liar, and that they put it there idk what happened if maybe they were given in another order and by checking the reviews its a common thing they do.

Food is great for the price. 6 tacos with avocados and white cheese for 5.99 can t beat that in Brownsville at least. Worth the drive. Kid-friendliness: They will make the tacos plain with meat and cheese if you ask. My daughter will usually eat that.

at la kilena here at Brownsville on old port Isabel, they had mess up my order so I went back because the tortilla was all burn and I wanted a refund but the cashier said that the owner said she doesn t give refunds back so then I told them okay just do my order again but make sure it s right so then they did my order again and then guess what, I found a roach on my tortilla. It s messed up how the owner gets mad just for asking a refund that she never gives a refund and then for her kitchen to have Roaches in your food how I see this they did it on purpose just for asking a refund

This is the best taqueria La Kileña. The tacos have a more authentic taste than the other locations. The service is always nice and helpful. The cooks really put love into this taqueria. And for $5 you cant beat it. The beans are also very yummy and their salsas never disappoint me Wheelchair accessibility: There is no steps or stairs.

They are no longer $2.99, but 12.99. Went up $10 in a few months. Tacos now only include the bistec alone. If you want all the extras youll have to pay anywhere from $5.00 to $10.00 more. Frijoles are now $6.99 each and 10.99 if you want them loaded.

I used to like this place but I found baby cockroaches in my tacos , I told the person, instead of giving me a refund , the person in there that was in charge told me he would only get give me the tacos that I didn t eat new , who knows if I ate roaches but I will never go again to this place after I experienced this .

Ive always come here to eat when I am craving tacos but today, the lady that qas working in the kitchen had her son in the restaurant sick. She was taking care of him while making the food and not washing her hands. I realized her son was sick at the end because I saw him and a lot of tissue around and blankets and medicine. Its ok to take care of your babies but wash your hands or use gloves when handling food please. I hope i dont get sick

The food was good not great but the prices are no longer 2.99 but $ 3.99 and there are some things to know on that special. 1) when you order that special you cant ask to put the cilantro, onions and cheese on the side [makes no sense], 2) if you didnt catch it on 1st point well it comes with no avocado the tacos [with avocado price is $5.99]. Place is a bit run down but not too bad and last the service is ok at best. So to wrap it up, if you are in a tight budget and dont care for avocado in your tacos I think I would still recommend as the flavors are decent. On the plus side I liked they had beef fajita tacos but a bit pricey at $8.99 and they over cooked the fajita. Now you know and hope my review helped you decide to checked them out or not.

Ive been here 3 times and its my new favorite taqueria. This most recent time I ordered 6 fajita taquitos (only taqueria I know that offers fajita, not just bistek) and wow... sooo delicious. They came full of fajita and ingredients, tasty & somewhat crispy tortilla, very nicely prepared and presentable... not all soggy and clumped together like the other taquerias. Very fair priced and open late. I know not every visit will be top notch, but 3 out of 3 good visits so far is a good start.

01/06/2021 Updated review. Usually this place has good service and food. Today not so good. Our order bag was very greasy. The waiter and waitress were rude. They did not include green salsa with taco order. They.said the owner had instructed to only give red salsa. He would not give us green salsa from the salsa bottle from the table. We dined in our car and did not see a trash can outside. Normal courtesy for customers. The waitress took our trash but said next time we would have to take our trash. We pay for our food. Will go elsewhere in the meantime. Real good tacos. Great price. Can feed a large family without breaking the bank.

We went to this place at night so it was kinda dark and scary tl get here the parking lot has lots of holes and bumps so be careful. This place is small but it gives me a vibe of authentic Mexican food. In fact, the food here is really good. The portions are big as well. They do not have lots of tables so maybe you can take out or call in first to make sure you can dine in. The price is super reasonable as well

Even though they have the $2.99 special they dont take care of u here regardless the amount of people in here...I have been here several times and they skip you from the line . They even take long for picking up ur order ...I get told to be there in the next 30 min...and they still take longer...I only recommend this place for the price bcuz their service sucks bad...Maybe if they had better employees that cared about this establishment then I would give it 5 stars.

If you want to eat some amazing tacos with low price, this is the place! The tacos are amazing and the the ingredients are high quality! They even give you fried onions if you buy one order! Highly recommend this place! It is my 2nd place of my favorite taco restaurants in the valley! They arent cheap like la vacita (they charge you for the onions or you need to buy a expensive combo) and mexico tacos (its a restaurant) are small and the meat is sweet, which is not my taste. They also treat you Nicely here! They have a T.V and a air conditioner, which is Missing in most taco restaurants. Such an amazing place! Highly recommend to buy tacos from here!
