The service was great. They are very attentive. The food was ok. I feel like it was hit or miss. The drinks were good, a little on the sweet side, but we asked for extra ice and that was good enough. I like that they have sugar free options. The hibiscus drink with Splenda was really good. I was most exited about the ramen birria, but it was not the greatest in my opinion. The noodles were a little too soggy. The cheese fries, beans, and volcán were really good. We also tried the birriaburger my son and husband said it was good. My daughter loves quesabirria, but these were not her favorite.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I ve ever been to I have no idea how I m going to be able to adapt to the food back home they have set a new standard in food and service. We had the tacos Tijuana and Beria taquitos, and the mango Chamoy lemonade and I am beyond impressed the prices are shockingly low I would pay double for the food if I had to.

We were on our way to home from south padre and wanted to try something authentic Mexican food . Found this place and omg it has the best food. La Bandera BTX is a very welcoming and heartwarming restaurant. I hadn t dined in here up until a few days ago, and boy I have to say, it is one of the greatest and most lovely dine in experience in the valley. From the moment you step into the restaurant you find such nostalgic and living atmosphere, to the moment Mrs. Danna my waitress took my sister and I s order with great care and attention to detail. Finally we were greeted with a very delicious order of tacos de birria and papas de birrias, which ultimately was a great amount of food for such great pricing. This place has the best Birria Melts ever. On top of that, Alondra, one of the servers, is always helpful, warm, and has never steered me wrong when i don t know what to order. Always has a smile, and never makes you feel like a burden! 10 service every time!

Place was nice...service was good as well but not worth $57.00. Birria tacos and broth not all that. Broth had alot of chili powder. Bisteck tacos cooked in some redish marinade tasted like chorizo. Aguas and beans were the only thing we enjoyed. Sorry. Thank you.
