Given the amount of cars in the parking lot on a Sunday after church, we genuinely thought it was going to be a bit more crowded than it actually was. My family of 6 was immediately seated and presented menus. Drinks and plates were brought out in less than 15 minutes. I wonder if it was timing or simply that they have an efficient staff, either way D Tonys did not disappoint. The food was on par with other local Mexican restaurants. Nothing stood out as being better but it was good overall.

I found a hair in my beans. I have curly hair and this hair was straight. Mistakes happen, I get it. Tell me why I found ANOTHER hair on the plate where they severed pancakes! When I told the manager, her excuse was well I found a hair in my subway sandwich one time . So??? Hygiene should always be a priority In a restaurant. Service was also extremely slow where I had to get up and ask for refills and stuff. Food is alright but not worth the hassle

I cant believe I just paid $46.66 for 6 tacos. Im never coming back. And I come here at least ones every 3 weeks for lunch. I asked for 2 chilaquiles tacos and they are charging me for the plate of 7.99 so then I asked them are you going to at least throw in the beans and the potatoes she said no. I said ok sell me the plate instead and she states and that was 6.95 explain that to me but the tortilla its an extra 1.99 I was like wow. The other tacos I order were about 5.50 each and thats still kinda high for tacos. Not to mention I was calling sense 7:10am and it just says mail box full, when I asked her she said rhe phones arent working. The food is normally pretty good but this is ridiculous

One of the best Mexicans Restaurants Ive ever been to. The food is so delicious the place is clean. I usually come here for breakfast and Im always satisfied. The Machado con huevo a la Mexican is soooooo good!! Love it! Ive also had papas con huevo and chorizo and I request my beans to be refried they taste better. The tortillas de harina are huge and taste amazing.

Start off, that ive not been here since 7 years and today reminded me as to why ive not come here again. They did give a great welcoming as you enter, but the waitrees we had, had a bad additude and the service we got from here was terrible (sorry we sat at your table, to a point we almost left). Flour tortillas we good, coffee was good. Now everyone has there own taste of food/flavor so can only say my experience: food is made fresh that i give it, but its not worth the drive (plenty of other places). Price is fair portion amount is good. The worste taste of this place is the water (it was from the sink, PERIOD!). not even a lime/lemon would change the taste. Atmosphere is normal, can day it was good. Never been here, id say look at other places before coming here, but if you live on the other side (north) then well its up to you.

I placed a to go order for a breakfast taco and staff was polite and food was ready fast. The issue was the food. Worst flour tortilla I have ever had. Hard, dry, definitely not made fresh. I have been once before and was not impressed. Thought Id give it another try. Not worth the 4 dollars I paid.

If you are in Brownsville, dont even think about coming to this restaurant, the food is tasteless, the chips were all stale and not even hot, they were freshly made, the waitress said, and then we returned them to them and they seemed to be offended, I ordered some horrible Mexican enchiladas and The American enchiladas were just as horrible, the tortillas were all hard, only the rice and beans were good and the service is not good, nor a smile to the customer nor friendly, nothing, I dont recommend this place at all

The restaurant seemed fine until the waitress was putting plates on the table over my baby s head and dropped hot food on my babies head and back. My baby instantly started crying because the food was hot. The restaurant staff did not acknowledge us after this and gave US attitude at checkout saying it was just an accident. Accident or not, waitresses should know better than to serve hot food over a baby!! We would not be as upset if they acknowledged their mistake, but I could not believe they acted like it was nothing. Never coming back here again!

The waitresses are really nice, the food is like home made food. I like everything Except this older lady with an attitude. She was at the register on July 6, 2022 in the morning. I didnt get her name. Shes older, like with silicone, and silicone fake lips. Shes very rude for no reason when Im trying to pay, no greeting. No thank you. I dont think Ill ever come back here or anywhere where theyre rude to me for no reason or I dont feel welcome.

Very tasty but unprofessional staff criticizing customers since their job is to serve the customer and not make a bad face at the customers and much less make fun of them, I think that these types of employees should look for another type of job where it is not attention to the customer since there are jobs, improve for those types of employees who cannot stand customer service, it hurts because it is a place where I like to go to lunch and eat and have to look at an employee in a bad face. She is only an employee but she should put the For example, because they give a lot of preference to that person, I dont know if she is the owner of the place or a waitress since she is seen charging on some occasions, but what I do know is that she had the wrong job or business, it hurts because the food at the place is very tasty. Congratulations to the cooks, if it werent for them, I wouldnt return to that place. I hope that the employee or owner of the place changes her way of being with customers.

I just dont understand why people keep coming to this restaurant. I just tried it today as I always see it on my way to work and was so disappointed. Went for breakfast and the eggs were so bland along with the potatoes and beans. I heard the server tell another patron that their corn tortillas were handmade and I got packaged tortillas. Was trying to fix eggs with the salsa and they couldnt even deliver with it. The salsa tasted like Pace salsa. Well, it goes without saying that I will not be back! I just kept thinking: I should have cooked at home :(
