We visited on a Sunday and the music was great. Mostly rock and jukebox for customers. Great service and cold drinks. I didnt order food in my last visit just drinks. Service

Spent many years in the Midwest working at a first rate Irish pub. The owner was from Cork. I Never expected to find anything anywhere close in the RGV. I was beyond pleasantly surprised. The fish and chips are better than anywhere I have EVER had, including there. We used haddock. I did not even check to see if Shenanigans uses haddock or Cod. Which ever it was it was SPOT ON! Crispy and fresh. True Beer batter. The house chips are superb as well. I believe they were seasoned with a touch of lemon juice. Whatever they are doing is exceptionally tasty. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. Also have to give a shout out on the Guinness gravy that was served with the Bangers. Excellent. I m excited to go back for a shepards pie. The draft beer (Pacifico) was rather flat. Also tried the Octoberfest by Sam Adams. It too needed more carbonation. But draft beer is naturally less consistent than bottled. Not a game changer. I will definitely be back. And telling everyone I know. It s so hard to find quality food in Brownsville that doesn t require a second mortgage.

The Shepherds pie was the special. It took nearly 20 minutes to come from the kitchen. In the meantime the bartender poured the wrong beer without apology. The pie was filled with dry meat, and no vegetables.

We were 2 of the 7 people in the resturant only one at table ordering food took over 40 min. For nachos and the potato iteam didnt come out not ready yet, we said no we want our food together waitress said its not ready we choose to pay for our drinks and leave, we got to our car and a fat white haired man come running out flipping us off yelling the F word. Said dont come back here. NO PROBLEM, that behavior is why your service and place SUCKS, DONT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEE THE FAT OLD MAN YELLING. Real shame for Brownsville

Had both Chris and Hailey serve me tonight and let me tell you, I had the best experience of my life. Food was both amazing and hot. Best bar food I ve tried in Brownsville. Place is clean, convenient, and affordable. You must try their wings and Irish tips, those Irish chips are AMAZING.

Had the wings, they werent good. Had to flag the waitress down to order food. I was there during the cowboys game. It wasnt that crowded. Every time the game wasnt on the dj started playing and that music was loud. loud enough to be annoying. I thought it was just me, but the couple I met there said it was too loud as well. I usually order shiner but that keg was empty, so I drank something else. So this is way forward, do better with your supply and stock, ensure your waitresses are covering their zone, dont need a dj during a football game (I would have paid them to stop or lower the music), and focus on the kitchen a little bit to have a more Irish pub feel. You are an Irish pub, embrace it!!!

First red flag was they were out of Sauerkraut, but I went for the burger instead and the Fat Arse burger did not disappoint while being cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing as well. Why only three stars, well I paid $2.00 for avocado and received none and $1.50 for jalapeños and received zero. So it might seem petty but it is what it is. 3/5 too bad should have been higher marks.

Hadnt been here for a while. Stopped in for a little day drinking. Atmosphere was nice, it wasnt too crowded and service was ok. They only had one floor server but she hustled to make sure we didnt need anything. The only negative was it was a bit warm. AC kicked in after a while and it felt better. Maybe its because the ladies were fanning themselves and Gabe it away. Lol. Had some drinks and shared an appetizer Graces Sampler . Bacon wrapped chicken bites, cheese sticks & Irish egg rolls. Definitely be back to try something to eat. Great visit

We have been here several times over this last year and it has been just okay. This time is was horrible. I got a michelada and it tasted as bad as the place smelled (raw sewage), I dident drink it but 1 sip and still got charged for it after telling the server. I have always felt uncomfortable with the bathroom attendant that follows you in as well. Overall this place has gone down hill.

Highly Recommend this place! We held a 50th birthday party at this restaurant/bar and the owner could not have been more nice or more helpful! He went above and beyond to make everything perfect and we truly appreciated it!!! Food was fabulous!! The only negative thing I could say is the waitresses would benefit from not standing around chatting with each other, we had to go up and interrupt their conversations to ask for things we needed more than once. Other than that, it was great!

Went for a night out with some gfs and we had a good time. The restroom however were so disgusting. The girls had to use the men s restroom and all the urinals were filled with urine. one of the waitresses who walked out the stall as we walked in, didn t even bother to wash her hands. As we were walking out the restroom, she had her hands full giving plates of food to the customers. After we saw that we paid our tab and took our business else where.

The place is very nice, we like to go there... but this time they made us wait about half an hour to serve us! BEWARE! They will extra charges on your card without u knowing. Buyer beware. Pay cash when possible or be vigilante. Food is good. Ambiance is good. Just disappointed that they put charges on your card that dont belong to you. Not the first time either. Also, they charge 0.50 to dress your beer. Never been charged anywhere else for my beer to be dressed. Its the principal.

So, my husband and I were trying to explore whats good around in Brownsville area because we just moved here. And we ended up to this place. We walked in and the bar tender [female] didnt even acknowledge us nor glanced us at least. This place felt unwelcome and the smell oh my goodness, what smell was that! To be honest it was bad smell. Long story short.. we walked out and will never return even if this is the only place left on Earth.

Our waitress Sandras awesome. Shes quick on the beers. Domestic drafts are cheap and great. I come here very often.
