Best burgers in Brownsville and its no contest. You want a hot and I do mean hot, and fresh burger you come here. The meat has great flavor and the buns are hot and slightly toasted. Fries are thick unlike the sticks they serve at fast food places. They have the friendliest people working there as well. My grandmother and I come almost weekly from the other side of town just to get our burger fix here. This burger beats anything from Stars, Whataburger, Rutledge, and so on. Hope they never change a thing.

Ernies Hamburger Stand is the best! You cant go wrong here. Been coming since I was a little kid with my parents. I now reside in San Antonio and when I head down to the valley I make sure to stop here. Food is hot and fresh made to order.

Its great to know that somethings never change. Awesome burgers and good people that give great service. Wide variety of choices all made to order, no heat lamps or microwaves here. Was recommended by one of my fiancés co-worker to stop by and get the Captain Burger. And I might say great choice. The only bummer is that we cant eat outside... its to go. We parked in front of a near by HEB to eat. Hehe! Good food all the way! Coming back when we come back to Brownsville, Tx.

I started going to Ernies when I was about 8 yrs old, Im 47 now ,best burgers I ever had and the ice cream omg, definitely best burgers all around,great family owned business, definitely recommend you guys try it out, proud to have this kind of establishment in my home town of Brownsville tx

Snow cones and Hamburgers. You cant go wrong here. This place has been here since I was a kid, Im about to hit 50. Omg, this is a really good burger. Way better than In-n-out burgers thats for sure

Been here since I can remeber. Very good Food and treats still cant stray away from one of my favorite treats there since a kid (Ice Cream with Raspa) yes Ice Cream with Snow Cone together. Omg love it cuz it isnt like a sushi or all super crushed ice. It is like Snow cones should be the reg. And original size Ice. And pick your Snow cone favorite flavor. Mine personally is Black Cherry with the ice cream. The ice cream is like the one from dairy queen but both together it is great taste. A bit sour yet sweet with the ice cream. Gotta try it. I also recommend the Bubble gum Snow cone with the ice cream. This place hasnt changed just love it.

Love their burgers! I called ahead for the first time to place my order and it took only about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I got a double cheeseburger large, double cheeseburger small, and 2 small singles. Meat is thin but very good. Id say theyre better than Rutledge Theyre ice cream cookie sandwiches are also yummy and inexpensive. About 75¢ I think. And of course they have a bunch of other snacks too.

I went for the first time on March 24. I had a Captain burger with fries. I had heard so much about this place, and YES, BEST BURGER EVER!!! I didnt know they sold cones, until a man stopped to get 2 cones, another person was getting burgers to go; I had my burger to go. You want an old fashion Hamburgesa de mi barrio, go for it. You will not be disappointed. Loved the fries. Next time I go, I want to try their nachos and their conos.

It s not a fancy burger, it just a perfectly made cheeseburger with a perfect bun and as many layers as you dare. I had the captain (double meat double cheese) and it was great. Perfectly melted cheese and nice cold tomato and lettuce. The fries are thick and well cooked too. Light to no salt by default which is good.

Best burgers I ever tasted. The burgers taste are fresh and are made on the spot. These burgers are way better than whataburger. They are more juicier and tasty than whataburger. My order came out pretty fast at it was a bit cheaper than other places. They dont beat McDonalds prices, but they do beat their taste. And they never mess up your order.

Oh my gosh!!!! What can you say about Ernies. This place should be a land mark since it has been around for ever. The food is exactly how I remember it from when I was 7yrs old. I love the burger and fries but the frito pie is pretty awsome as well. Ernies is a one stop shop for burger,hotdogs, ice cream, snow cones, raspas, etc.... If you are brave enough try an Ernies Burger HUGE Burger with 4 meats.

I havent had an ernies burgers in a little over 15 years now, and to this day it still has that same distinct flavor. It brought back many memories of my childhood.
