The park itself is okay (2 star)..... What makes it a four-star Park is the ability to go kayaking in the park as it has access to the canal next to it. Parks and rec of Brownsville have used this Park to go camping in. We enjoy going to Brownsville from Edinburg to enjoy this camping experience and kayaking with Parks and rec Brownsville

Get some swings! A couple different playgrounds for children but no swings. Overall not bad but bring mosquito repellent since its right on a resaca.

A very, very large park to enjoy with the family, you have two very good childrens play areas, a field, a pier that is perfect for reading a book, you can walk your dog among many other activities. The bathrooms could use some improvement. The overall layout is awesome, walking trail around the park has plenty of morning walkers. There are two small playgrounds as well. During the spring (Feb thru May) it gets packed and busy in the evenings due to kickball season.

My daugther was here all day for a softball tournament, there was no shade because the canopies were old and torn off, the fields were just dust, and the little 2 stall bathroom was terrible. It could definetly be better taken care of.

Its lonely most of the time, good for kids. There is 2 jungle gyms on different sides of the park. There is basketball courts, and baseball fields. Its one big circle with lots of parking.
