I dont generally write reviews, but my experience at Sodres was very poor, from the quality of the food to the service. The quality of the meats for a restaurant that claims to be Brazilian is extremely poor and very overpriced for what you get. They will not survive if they dont fix these issues. The servers took a long time to arrive at our table to offer drinks. They had no idea about the menu offerings. There were six adults on our group and we all ordered meat cuts. The meat was overcooked. Not a single person was happy with their plate. Not a single time did the server come by to refill the wine glasses. After we were finished with our meal they removed our plates and never came back to offer dessert. We could see the servers all gathered around the bar talking and looking at their phones. The setting is very nice and it has potential but they need a manager, a new chef, and a new meat vendor.

The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, with warm colors and Brazilian artwork that instantly makes you feel welcome. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we felt right at home. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations. Now, let s talk about the food! We started with the Pão de Queijo, which were perfectly cheesy and addictive. Sodres beautifully blends the best of American and Brazilian cuisines, offering a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. I can t wait to return and explore more of their offerings!

Sodrés is an absolute gem! The food, ambiance, and overall vibe are fantastic. It s a fancy spot, but surprisingly affordable. I tried the lunch special filet mignon with pasta and it was incredible. The steak was juicy with a perfect crunch on the outside, and the price was unbeatable. For dinner, tapioca tacos, the pork belly, and salmon carpaccio appetizers were delicious, and their steaks are always cooked just right. Don t forget to check out Francisco s cocktails; he s one of the best local bartenders and always makes great drinks. Highly recommend Sodrés for anyone looking for great food and an amazing vibe!

I recently dined at Mauros Brazilian restaurant, and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and authentically Brazilian. The waitresses were excellent, providing friendly and attentive service. Mauro has created a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

mauro Sodré, owner of Sodrés Cuisine ! Originally from Brazil, Mauro moved to Brownsville in 2020, bringing his culture and cuisine to the city. Sodré s Cuisine is a Brazilian-American fusion restaurant. The chef, also from Brazil, brings amazing Brazilian flavors to Brownsville! We had a great experience the place is beautiful, and we loved our plates and drinks. We wish them the best, thank you Nyssa for an amazing service! We had the following items from the menu: Mango Jícama Oysters, Tapioca Tacos, Wagyu Burger, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Moqueca (A very traditional Brazilian dish) For dessert, we had the Guava Jam and Cream Cheese and the Açaí Forest Experience Our drinks were the Limonada Suiza, Bossa Nova and Arapua

Place started a few days o weeks, but needs to improve its flavour . Food is very inspid . Also didnt have the appetizers I wanted to order. The food you get for the price not worth it. Definitely not coming back, unless they improve. Hope they do.

I had an incredible dining experience at this Brazilian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. The service was exceptional, our waitress was not only attentive but also incredibly sweet, making us feel right at home. The cocktails were expertly crafted and paired perfectly with the meal. I ordered the bobo, and it was nothing short of amazing, rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The tapioca tacos, my favorite appetizer, were a delightful surprise, offering a unique and tasty twist.
