The Hotel is very clean.Rooms are great.Front desk staff very friendly. However if you expect a decent continental Breakfast Forget it ! Less than subpar!! Eggs where like eating egg flavored Foam.At 7:15 am Everything was basically picked over,and empty! Coffee creamers pumps where broken. One even smelt sour when opened. Staff was very pleasant . Thats about it. Now the staff that attended to the rooms.They where extremely Loud as they conversed back ,and forth. Literally yelling to one another. Slamming doors ect. It left the atmosphere feeling Chaotic.If you plan on an evening rest forget it! If you are ok with those things you would give it a 5 star. 5 star other than the two observations. Rooms: Very clean.Well furnished.

Housekeeping was the best Ive experienced, they came every single day to clean, and did consistently very thorough job. The rooms are great if you dont need a kitchen. May favorite part though is the back patio overlooking the cove, stocked with fish, crabs, and 1 8foot alligator if you like watching the wildlife. Surprisingly the Alligator is always on her best behavior and swims to wherever she can best see the patrons and then sits still so people can watch her. They have railings so the Alligator doesnt climb up on the property. Will try to always stay at this La Quinta when working in the area.

We stay at this location multiple times per year. I called to make reservations for the weekend and was inquiring about the breakfast and the front desk associate was extremely rude told me she has worked there for a year and if I didnt like the service I needed to go stay somewhere else and hung up on me called back to inquire what the issue was and was hung up on again. Very poor customer service!! Noteworthy details: Extremely rude front desk associate!

Went to reserve a room for the weekend . Called to check on breakfast cause previous experience just had toast and sausage . We evacuated for the hurricane. We booked online . The online booking service stated the hotel was pet friendly. We called and spoke to the staff and they verified this to be correct. We were not informed of any additional policies. When we arrived, we were told that we would have to pay an additional $100 non-refundable pet deposit. We explained this was a service animal and that the policy did not state this at the time of booking and when we called to confirm pet friendly no policy was mentioned. We did not have the additional money to stay so we were forced to leave. We were charged for the stay $126.00. This is a clear viol Of a disabled persons rights.

Had a terrible experience with customer service. The manager Veronica (if that s her real name) was extremely unprofessional. I was charged twice for a room. She asked me to send her the receipt of already paying for the room before I checked in, so I sent it to her. She then looked through her records and explained to me that she saw second charge on her end through the hotel. She said she ll talk to the owner and get back with me. She never did. So I called the following day, she began to change her story to say she doesn t see the second charge. I addressed that fact that she said something different the day before and she became defensive and continued to talk over me and not let me a get a word in at all. Long story short she and the owner was not willing to help in any way. I asked to talk to the owner, she said no, and hung up on my face. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating. This was charged on my debit card, not a credit card, not a business card. Money I worked for. Anyway, I suggest you don t use your hard earned money on a place like this. Customer service is the MOST important aspect for any business, this hotel failed horribly.

Make you feel like family! Came for a funeral from out of state. Highly recommend this place. UPDATE JUST SAW THE RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW AND THAT RIGHT THERE SHOWS WHAT A AWESOME SUPER PROFESSIONAL CARING PLACE THIS HOTEL IS! Ive never had such a heart felt and personal reply! My mom died and this place was respectful during my stay and even now in their response! Safety: Hotel is safe. The driveway needs a light so you can see where it is located. Walkability: The road it is located on is not walkable, you will need a car to go even across the street. But everything is super close.

The desk service was unbelievable. I was traveling with my 18 year old son that is deaf. And they said he was being rude. And if he gave them any issues with his attitude they were calling the police. He may be 18 but looks 15. It was heart breaking and embarrassing for him. Maybe he should have had is aids in.

Very convenient location and a really nice surprise. Rooms are spacious and clean and very quiet. Really enjoyed having some space to love about after a long day. Larger than average fridge (for a hotel) was included and able to hold quite a bit. TVs were larger and brighter than youd normally see in a hotel. The extra seating was nice to have with friends visiting. Extra plugs were next to the bed for any devices needed. When back in the area, will definitely visit again. Safety: Enjoyed the extra sturdy locks on the room. Though with the security, Id doubt its necessary. Noteworthy details: Love the extra sturdy suitcase holder with metal rails.

Checked in for a week long stay on business. Rooms are clean, BUT the bathroon door needs to cleaned as there is dirt/grease looking stains around the door handle. Porcelain in tub had a chunk missing-showing its age. Body wash dispencer in shower was empty, so I used my own. In a nutshell, housekeeping not doing a very good job. AC/Heater unit will not turn off. When switching off, the fan runs even though everything is off. The AC does however run cold, which I like. The view facing the back pond is awesome however. Very nice. The biggest problem I have with this property is how cheap they are operating. They do offer a hot breakfast, but they do not belive in protein-at all. No Sausage, No bacon No lids for the coffe cups either. If you do not show up for breakfast right after it begins, then your left with slim pickings-maybe 1 muffin, 1 slice of toast. They do not keep the selections stocked during the breakfast period. I dont like waste as much as anyone else, but geeze. Signs in the breakfast area say no food to go ? 1st time I have ever seen that in any Hotel. Well, Im not sure what they are trying to convey but I took my breakfast to room to eat anyway. I prefer to eat in privacy and have the ability to heat my food in the provided microwave. This is for Mr. Patel- As I travel all over the Southwest USA on business, 90% of Hotels (Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn and LaQuinta Inn) are owned or operated by Patels. This property is ran on a shoe string budget. It doesnt have to be, it should not be. By the way, the lock on the side entrance is still missing despite other reviewers bringing it to your attention. Whats up with that?

My Son in law and Daughter stayed there from the end of Aug to the Beginning of Oct. I have pictures of the room when they left. During their Stay of several weeks the maids only came in twice to clean the room. My daughter had to go down to the lobby and get towels, toilet paper, sheets, blankets and make the beds herself and had to get a vacuum to clean the floors because the maids only came twice! I WAS on the phone with her when she requested these items. According to this hotel they are trying to get $500 dollars extra for supposed damages to the room. Again I HAVE pictures there was none of the damages the hotel are saying happened. They have NOT sent an itemized list of supposed damages to my Daughter or to the organization that helped pay for the room. I feel this hotel is a scam hotel that just wants to take money from a family that cant afford it!! I KNOW my daughter had to get the items to clean because I was on the phone with her!

This location deserves some mad props! Gotta thank the ladies up front! Our company has us stay here frequently, and Ive always had a great stay. This was my first, since they replaced all the bedroom furniture. But anyway, upon my arrival, I immediately asked for assistance after checking in. While driving in, I got caught in a flash flood and both my duffle bags got soaked. By the time I was able to get my bags in the cab of the truck, it was too late. They were drenched, along with all of my belongings. I asked to dry my cloths in the big dryers the housekeepers use and the gal running the front desk didnt hesitate to assist. She called her boss for verification and had my bags drying out before I knew it. She even delivered them back to my room, as promised. Thank you, thank you, thank you yall ladies the real ones!

Its a shame how much this place has gone downhill in the past years. Our room had no mat for shower, slipping hazard for sure. There was a leak between the bathroom and bedroom and the carpet was soaking wet. The room was not very clean. The garbage cans outside were full. The parkinglot had trash all over it. The rails around the walk way ramp is about to fall over. There is trash all around dumpster and it looks like they began reno and just left all the bathtubs and boxes in the parkinglot and didnt bother to finish reno. The side entry door still locked but the lock had been removed and we had to make sure it closed to feel safe. What a shame. I will never stay there again.

The room smells a bit funny but the A.C. was fine and the fridge worked great. Breakfast area was big while the pool was closed for renovations that theyve been doing for 1 year+. The elevator was also not finished and just had a dinky layer of cardboard with several holes in it. All they really need to do is FINISH THE RENOVATIONS!!!

Sweet staff. Rooms were clean but could use a better vacuum. Hallways need to be vacuumed daily since this is a area where a lot of construction workers are staying. Upon entering we noticed hallways were dirty. 2 days later still carpets are not vacuumed. Breakfast is standard hotel breakfast. I only like fresh fruit and oatmeal and they had neither unfortunately. Serve yourself waffle, cereal or breads. Dryer downstairs made unbelievably loud noises. No business center as advertised. Would stay again despite few things I disliked. PS maybe they need to purchase better vacuums

Our last stay was about 6 months ago, we havent been back since, that stay was terrible, trash cans overflowing inside and outside of motel, pool gates were broken, door leading inside motel to restrooms was broken, hot tub was still broken, and fitness room was unavailable, it was being used as a storage room, bbq pits were also rusted and broken. When asking front desk manager about hot tub she was rude and said that Mr Patel said he doesnt have to fix hot tub if he doesnt want to. I contacted corporate and they seemed unconcerned about it. When Lipskis ran the property we stayed at least 2-3 times a month, it was always clean, everything worked, front desk people were courteous and professional, not now. I only hope corporate will start checking their properties and the people running them. Sad to see it so ran down. Called motel today just to see if hot tub was repaired and its still not.!!!!! We stayed for the hot tub.

I stayed here Thursday 24th to Sunday 28th Nov 2021. The check-in had to be the fasted most efficient and friendly Ive ever had. My room was spotless, modern and so well prepared. The only issue we had was they previously changed tv and internet providers so our tv had not been programmed and we only had a couple of channels to watch. Car emergency near midnight set my journey back so I needed a hotel to sleep in until I could bring my car to the shop the next morning. Between the two hotels here, Id say we picked the right one. Family stayed last night. Room was great. Woke up in the morning to their catalytic converters stolen off their vehicles! Informed receptionist, she was not surprised acted like it was not a big deal. Took down info and said she would pass information to her manager. This is a mirage hotel. I lost a sister unexpectedly, booked 3 rooms for the entire family for 3 days. I picked this hotel specifically for the hot tub. But nobody is allowed to get in. We I brought it up to the night manager he was rude amd told me they are rhe only place within a 100 miles with a hot tub, I know thats why I booked here. No help there. Okay Ill workout then in there gym, but wait it is full of boxes we cannot use it. It is not Covid lockdowns because on Friday they held an event in the conference room. Okay maybe some hot breakfast that was promised would help. But NO HOT BREAKFAST ON WEEKENDS. they put those signs up Friday night so not to discourage guests. Fake hotel. This place failed on every promise made. Thanks for the help I needed while grieving at your hotel, oh wait I didnt get any.

This was such a great hotel to stay in during my stay in Bridge City, TX. The staff was so kind in assisting me with any questions I had. The hotel itself was immaculate! It sits on a lake so theres plenty of wildlife to watch. They have a pool and a hot tub!!! My room was huge and my bed was extremely comfortable! They had the best free breakfast every morning too! It consisted of biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, waffles, cereal, muffins, COFFEE, etc. I will definitely stay here again when I travel to Bridge City, TX! Thank you to all the staff who made my stay so wonderful!!!

The property was beautiful, with the pond in the back. The room was clean. I do wish there had been more than a thin sheet on the bed, it was hard to sleep with no blanket. The disappointing part was when I asked for late check out (1 hour), to finish up some work. Unfortunately, the girl at the front desk wouldn t give us any additional time, even though this hotel had 90% vacancy.

I was here while working out of town and the staff was very nice and helped us out. We had to go to work at 4am .Ever tho breakfast wasnt supposed to be severed till 6. They put some out for us and we really appreciated it. So I can say go give them a chance next you are in the area

Nice, small, quiet hotel. Rooms were cold and comfortable. Newly remodeled as of 2019. Pond out back has its own resident alligator that comes up close to you. Peaceful to sit out back with a cup of coffee and just relax.
