We really enjoyed this place the first couple of times that we went but it has gone downhill. Recently every time we go, it s an hour or more wait for the food. They changed the menu and took a lot of things off. We will never go back to this location. Edit: it may have been 47 minutes for the food order to come out but it was definitely 25 minutes after arriving that the waitress had the time to attend to us. Not to mention my husband getting water splashed onto his back from the waitress spilling water right behind him. Overall not a good experience and sub-par management example to try to excuse this experience. Do not worry we will never return to this establishment.

I went in today at noon to have a great breakfast but it did not turn out that way. The waiter at table 302, never brought me my food and my family had already finished eating and still wasn t here. I didn t get to eat. Left hungry because I canceled my order didn t want to eat alone is why I went with my family and he took the liberty to give himself a 20% plus $10 for a tip. Yeah doesn t look like I m going there. I ll let my coworkers know to beware when eating here.

Ordered coffee and two different waffles, had to tell waitress the coffee tasted like water, and to add two bags of premeasured coffee if making a 24 cup pot. Also ordered the skillet that came out almost 10 minutes before the waffles. Waffles were so dry and hard that I sent back to the kitchen.Food and coffee was definitely not worth the forty plus minute wait, and will not be back. The tomato jam and fried green tomatoes were good.

The food was excellent. My wife and I shared a Veggie Lovers Skillet and the Maple Bourbon Biscuits, while our daughter had a Lemon Blueberry Waffle. The biscuits are fluffy and flavorful with cinnamon and homemade bourbon maple sauce. The skillet did not disappoint with veggies and eggs over their breakfast potatoes. If you ve had the potatoes, you know they are delicious. Our server was very friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. The only detractor is our plates did not arrive at the same time but came out over a 5-8 minute period. This is probably due to newness of operation at this location and it will likely improve as staff gains experience. I would definitely come again and I do recommend this place.

I m sure the food is good but we never got the chance to try it. We arrived Sunday morning with a party of 6. The restaurant was busy but not at full seating capacity and the hostess was pleasant but not necessarily friendly. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. When we were seated the waitress took our drink order and then said it s going to be about 45 minutes to an hour for food; do you want to order the kids food now? We didn t have that kind of time. It would have been really nice to have received this information from the hostess instead of the waitress. We chose to leave. They didn t seem short-staffed so it may have been an equipment capacity issue. It s probably a good restaurant but we did not have a good experience. If you have a large party, you probably need to arrive very early or eat somewhere else.

The food and coffee was very good. Staff were very pleasant and although it was pretty busy, it had a relaxed atmosphere. At the time of this review I could tell they were a little understaffed. We had 3 different people check in with us (likely the waiters helping each other fill gaps) throughout our meal and it took a little longer than Id like to get our food and drinks. It was mine and my husbands first time here, I came across this place online and the food was so good we got the boudin balls for the appetizer which were really good and then we got the Cajun eggs Benedict and the birdie to eat and both were very good. The waffles are crunchy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside also got the dragon fruit mimosa and it was good, not too sweet so if you don t like sweet alcoholic beverages I recommend the dragon fruit mimosa it s so good. Overall great service and great food so next time I m in town I ll definitely be going back.

We love coming to Water Street. Usually we wait for inside but thought to try the patio today we were worried about the heat but it was such a pleasant experience. The patio is covered with a fan (even a table fan for flies) and so many plants. It was quiet and so peaceful. The southwestern omelette is the best omelette of anywhere I ve ever been. Our service was fantastic from Dominic, who recommended the macadamia nut iced coffee and he was so attentive. Definitely a local favorite and cannot recommend enough the blueberry lemon waffle is amazing too, we get it as an appetizer for the table.

Water Street is always the best for Brunch in this area. They are consistent and no matter what we have ordered, it has been wonderful. I usually order the Cajun Eggs Benedict but decided to order the Little Terminators and had my eggs over easy. Everything was cooked to perfection and it was a perfect mix of sweet and savory in every bite. My husband ordered the Little Birdies and his was equally as wonderful. We also ordered a shot of espresso and a cranberry mimosa that was equally enjoyable. I have been several times, and it has been amazing each time. With a good local place, there is always a wait time, so expect to wait a bit for seating and for your food to arrive. However, it s worth the wait and the service you receive is excellent! Dominic was our waiter this round and was ontop of all of our needs or wants, even when we didn t ask. It s truly a gem!

I typically love this spot, but we had a not so great visit today. It s typically been a 4/5 but this Sunday it was 2/5, so 3/5 it is for the average. It took 52 minutes for us to get our order which is a crazy wait time to me. The atmosphere was very chaotic, and the food was mid at best. Even the waffles were dry. I asked for hot sauce and it was only brought when my husband was getting out of his chair to complain. I was already 2/3 through my meal when I received it. I suspect that the gravy served with the biscuits came from a can, even if not it was too salty and I love extra salt. We used to come over weekly and have not been here for more than 1 year hoping things would get better. Disappointed, they did not.

The skillet meals are flavorful, colorful and served well. I had the western skillet. They even put the syrup on the side like I asked. Kind and courteous service at a decent price. Great plating skills and mixture of flavors and colors. My only draw back was it was a little on the pricier side and not wheelchair accessible for my mom. Theres a step to get to the door and a narrower than normal door. There are two doors but one was locked shut. Other than that it was a great filling experience. Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible. You will have to get out of the chair to get up a small step and in the door.

Ive been several times and every time the food has been great! Be prepared for a wait on weekends. Twice, Ive gone with larger groups, and the food has not come out at the same time for everyone. It was at least 10 minutes between when the first plate arrived and the last. But food, coffee drinks, and atmosphere make up for it! Will go back! We went on Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy but we were seated right away. They were out of Chai Latte so got a regular coffee that was watered down and a Coke. Ordered fried green tomatoes and they were good with a spicy pepper jelly. The two entrees, Little Terminator and Avocado Toast, didnt come out together, but about 10 minutes apart. Surprisingly, it took longer to serve the Avocado Toast. The food was good, but no drink refills were offered. We got the bill and noticed that the Chai Latte had not been removed. We had to wait for that to be corrected. Overall, a good place with decent food. It is a bit noisy so its difficult to have a conversation.

My first visit here was not great. Service was great. That s the only reason I m not giving a one star. The food quality however is a different story. Within minutes of being served my plate was lukewarm. Not hot. The same with the tater tots. Seemed like they had just been sitting in the kitchen. And slightly over seasoned/salty for my tasting. The sausage patty with my breakfast sampler could ve been cooked a little longer, I didn t like the light pinkness I saw. Overall very disappointed with food quality here.

We tried Water Street Waffle Co for the first time today. Absolutely delicious!! Great atmosphere and great service too! We did have a long wait time, but we also decided to go when church was getting out and close to lunch time. The wait wasnt as long as it was calculated to be though. We joined the wait list online. Super easy to do and youll get a text to confirm youre on your way over when theyre ready for you. You can also do call ahead seating.

Y all. This waffle was so good! The Rue Birdie was a really good portion, and super super flavorful. The only suggestion I have is ask for the bourbon maple syrup to be warmed because it comes cold. They re pretty busy so service was a little spotty but the food made it worth it. The restaurant is in an older building, really cute. Parking is on the street or a little pay per hour lot down the block. Vegetarian options: The waffles are all vegetarian, but are not vegan.

This is truly not a Waffle House but a waffle Home. When we walked in the host Dalton was friendly and answered all of our preliminary questions. Our server Dominic was amazing. You have to try this place, and quickly. Everything was so delicious, Im shocked. The pricing is very fair, and the food is fantastic! Good vibes from the staff, and others eating. This is a flat out 10, and its on my top 5 places to eat now. Ill be returning sooner than later. Parking is the only thing you need to be aware of, other than that.
