This place is dirty, unkept and in need of cleaning. I m not sure what is going on here actually. I ve been in food service for 21 years and it s just sad. Pizza idk if it was really pizza but more like a soggy tortilla. I would not recommend this establishment!

Ordered fried mushrooms (about $8 or $9) and got a basket of 5. Pointed out I was getting a bad deal and they brought out 4 more. Still joke about how they charge $1 per mushroom. Havent been back, obviously having a poor time running the restaurant/bar if you gotta tell them about portioning. UPDATE: Went again and was terrible atmosphere with signs of going out of business with the limited menu. Wings were poor quality, very disappointed. Took payment before our order could be prepared. Very strange business that seems to be surviving primarily on location. Needs to go away so a better family friendly establishment can move in.

July 9. Tuesday night. Staff was very welcoming. Observed every customer gets acknowledged as soon as they walk in the door. Pretty busy for a weekday night. Great vibe from staff, so friendly. Overall, great experience thank you to all of the staff at Scores. Great example of what customer service should be. But .. speaker system needs major upgrade Shout out to Kate-Lynn B.

Ordered brunch and hour and a half later our food had not arrive. We were told numerous times just 10 min away, still no food. When we informed them to cancel the order, them manager stated you need to pay for the 2 beers, coffee and Dr Pepper with no apologies as to the food taking 1.5 hours. Left without eating.

Don t come here if you re hungry lol. This was my first time here, after hearing great things I was excited. I left two hours later and disappointed. Waited almost 45 minutes for one app, came out over cooked. Sent it back and the next was identical. We were told that they d be comping the first (obviously???) but the second was discounted (25%..). They claimed since they were busy, the fryer was needing to be cleaned (how is that our fault?) Our fastest service was getting the check. How sad. Waited almost an hour and a half for food. Waitress claimed to be new but trainers were no where to be found for anything. We ended up talking to 5 different employees. Honestly, come for a drink, but that s about it. I d spend my money elsewhere. Terrible service .

We stopped in on a VERY busy Saturday night. Something happened and our food took a bit too long, but delicious and hot. The entire town was jumpin with people. The servers were as attentive as they could be, but everyone was steppin and fetchin !

We got to scores after work, knowing that they don t do last call until 10:45 at 10:25 one of the servers came out with all of our tabs and said because they are slow they are closing early. They had about 20 guests still with open tabs and willing to buy more. After we asked if we could order until about 10:45, because we are paying customers, she said no we are closing. The assistant general manager Zoe came out and apologized and made sure we continued getting service after the first server said we couldn t order anymore. If your restaurant says it s open until 11 we shouldn t be kicked out at 10:30 because they are slow.

Prices didn t align with what was stated on the menu. Food is very overpriced. $25 for wings is outrageous. Our appetizer came out with our food. It took well over 45 mins to receive food and it came out inaccurate. When we tried asking for corrections it would take at least 10-15 mins. Don t recommend.

I don t usually leave bad reviews, but this place really let me down. In a nutshell, service was pretty bad, food took forever to arrive and the worst part is that the prices on the menu were inaccurate and food quality was second to adequate . What influenced this review more than anything was the check/total of the bill, the prices on each item were very different from the ones on the menu we were ordering from. Not only but also, the servers were cool but a little unprofessional.

Don t recommend, servers were more worried about talking with their friends rather than servicing their customers. Did not get our order right. Was very overpriced for the amount you get. We waited forever to get our food. Wings were dry. Had to ask other workers for items we had originally asked our server for, and didn t bring. I recommend going to Coronas De oro next door hands down!

I wish I could leave a good review, but our experience was awful. I m really surprised this place has not been shut down by the health department. It was so gross and dirty inside. There is mold growing on the ceiling and the hvac registers. I had to wash the toilet with the hand soap before I could sit down. The food was not fully cooked, and is extremely overpriced. Pizza dough was mushy in the middle. $25 for 12 wings that had barely any sauce? The gentleman that brought our food kept serving the food over my son, and had an attitude whenever we asked for anything. We definitely inconvenienced him by asking for ranch, or anything else. I could go on and on. We won t be back.

I have been to Scores multiple times with each experience worse than the previous. The entire restaurant is always dirty with a sour smell. The restrooms are not only unisex but filthy. As far as the food goes, they are always out of this or that when you order. When you go to a specialty pizza restaurant, you expect to order a special pizza, but it can be frustrating if every other request is shot down because were out. The same goes for the beer they claim to have but cant seem to keep in stock. I have given them several opportunities to prove my opinion wrong, hoping maybe new management would come along and yet still the conditions havent improved. I hope to see it change because its a great area for that type of establishment.

Me & my husband used to be weekly regulars at scores we absolutely loved & looked forward to going to scores however since new ownership the customer service has gone downhill. We have been a handful of times since new ownership and im telling you each & everytime we have gone its been a horrible experience. There have been times where we have gone and either not got acknowledged and had to ask for someone to take our drink/food order or we wait for hours (I wish I was being sarcastic) to get our food meanwhile the waiter we had was sitting back behind the bar top eating food of his own. Its also not like the resturant is packed because its been very empty everytime we have gone. We have asked to speak to the manager to see what was going on and got offered 5% off for the inconvenience .. not sure what 5% does We love the food however the experience has ruined it for us. I hope the staff gets better because scores used to be the place to be at during the week and weekend I dont see it sticking around much longer if this is how it continues sadly.

I really don t want to be hard on this place because it the only of its kind in Belton. That said Belton deserves better. We went tonight because we enjoy sitting outside in the courtyard. Service started out well as we were quickly greeted and had our menus and drinks in short order. Service went downhill from there with our drinks sitting empty for long periods of time. We ordered fried mushrooms and joker poppers as appetizers. The joker poppers were ok but the portion of fried mushrooms was very very stingy. Only five small fried mushrooms in a tiny basket for $9???? We ordered a large pizza which we thought was going to be enough to feed three but what we got equals a medium pizza anywhere else. The pizza was maybe 14 inches round and thin crust. It was also poorly cut making us have to cut it with a plastic butter knife to get a slice. The quality of the pizza is not remarkable. It s a good pizza but was it $16 good? No it was not. Weak on toppings and drown in some kind of sauce. Think Cici s quality. Biden would criticize this place for shrinkflation. Portions were small and price was high. Our total was just over $50 not including tip for two small appetizers. a large small pizza and three sodas. I wouldn t normally complain about it costing $50 to feed three but it was a very spartan meal an we left not quite hungry but also not satisfied. High prices, stingy portions and bad service kind of ruin what should be a fun place. I understand Bidenomics has us all hurting but not offering a good value and experience isn t a way to attract return business. Parking: Parking can be slightly difficult on holidays and special events but otherwise it s not hard to park. Kid-friendliness: This is a very family friendly place especially if sitting outside where there is ample play space and games. Wheelchair accessibility: This place would be very wheelchair accessible due to having no curbs and few obstacles.

My wife and I have shared many, many memories here. Unfortunately, after the ownership change, Scores has suffered with a lack of service, cleanliness, and has the warmest beer in Belton. If it weren t for the live music on Wednesday, we would not be here. It s embarrassing to see a treasured bar fall apart with such an important location. Scores refuses to do better after numerous complaints. The place smells horrid now. It needs to be shut down and cleaned. The good bartenders have all left as well. It s definitely for a reason. Whatever business model the owner is using is failing dramatically. I challenge you to reach out to me, so we can have an honest conversation, in order to save your business. I am disappointed that your long served customers are leaving in droves. Sad.

I am not sure what has happened to this place, but the service has dramatically declined and the food takes far too long to come out. This has been the case the last 6 times we have been here. We continue to come back because we like the atmosphere outside, but the beer has never ever been cold and the plastic cups are disgusting. The cigar place next door is carrying over and the inside of scores now smells like a combination of smoke and drainage backup. The kitchen is the biggest issue. We are always told there is drama in the kitchen .not sure what that means, but the management should pay this place a visit and fix it.

We went here last weekend for a late lunch and were surprised to find it empty, there were 2 different sections and an outdoor patio section. We weren t sure which door to go in and were a little confused upon entering. After looking around the waitress was like, oh, you can sit anywhere, on either side, so we choose what looked like the dining side vs the bar side since there was more light and we didn t want to take up seats at the bar. The waitress was friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the menu since it doesn t really describe what some of the appetizers are. The food was ordered and the appetizers came out first. We ordered the fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and pork rinds. They were all amazing especially with their homemade ranch! I could drink that stuff. I ordered wings, my dad ordered the Sandman Fries, and 2 of my kiddos ordered pizzas. The fries came out first, then both the pizzas I was still waiting for my wings we didn t see the waitress for a little while because it was like she was literally the only server for all 3 sections the whole restaurant. When she came back by I asked about my wings and she went to check on them. She came back to the table and told me that she had forgotten to put the order in. She apologized and owned up to the mistake and said she was gonna put them in right away. I told her not to worry about it and that I was fine. (I will be back to try them eventually cuz I love wings and need to try them) I was a little disappointed, but I understand that mistakes happen and didn t want to wait for them to be cooked after my teenagers were already almost done. The sandman fries were not the best. They were full of cheese that had hardened and made a huge mass of steak style fries. They were just okay. The Monsta pizza was good. Full of toppings, and stingy cheese. The Hall of Fame was burnt really bad on the bottom but my son was too hungry to ask them to recook it and he went on and ate it. He said it still tasted good. There were so many toppings on the pizzas that they were falling apart messy but good. We will definitely go back if not just for the appetizers, but to also try their wings. Probably won t get the fries again, but would like to try some of the other appetizers. All in all, not bad, but could have been better.

I went here with my family for a late lunch. We were told to sit where we wanted and did. They only had one wait staff so it took a while for her to get to us. We ordered some appetizers to start with the ordered our meals. She forgot to turn in my daughter s Chicken Wings for her meal. We had finished our food when she came back an apologized for forgetting her food. So my daughter ate from my fries and grandsons pizzas! Now, What food we did get was good! The pizzas had a lot of toppings and were good. The Fries were good with lots of toppings. We ordered: Fried Mushrooms, Served with Homemade Ranch. Very Good! Fried Pickle Chips, Crispy and good. Served with Homemade Ranch. Pork Rinds, Served with Buffalo Sauce. Extra Crispy and Great Flavor Looking forward to having them again. 10 MONSTA - Hamburger, pepperoni, canadian bacon, chicken sausage, tomato, bell pepper, onion, olive & mushroom. 10 HALL OF FLAME - Hamburger, pepperoni, sausage, jalapeno, tomato, bell pepper, onion, olive, mushroom & buffalo sauce SANDMAN FRIES - Fries loaded with cheddar cheese, queso, carne asada, sweet Texas Heat sauce, ranch & bacon. First off...Its a sports bar esq type place...Dont expect great food. Been here a few times to watch the games (friends wanted to go). Wings are overcooked and barely sauced, pizza is soggy, beer has a skunkyness to it... But the worst part... The TVs and sound doesnt match up. One TV will be 10 seconds off, right next to another TV...playing the same game. And none of the sound matches up.

Scores have recently changed ownership. The new owners have new rules. They count your beverages regardless of how many folks are on the bill. Even if you leave the establishment for over 5 hours to run errands and go to the grocery store. The service is not very attentive and the food is not all that great. Dont waste your time or your money as the new management doesnt appreciate loyal long term customers.

I really like Scores for multiple reasons. They have a large outdoor seating area with live music, its next to the river and the kids can go down and play, and due to the vast outdoor space they upheld a community feel during COVID when times felt bleak. The food CAN be great, it is hot or miss, but when its a hit... damn its good. I order the wings and there have been multiple times that they are way overcooked. I dont send food back but there was an instance where they were so overcooked, I just couldnt eat them and they were very understanding and had another batch made only to have them overcooked as well. But again, when theyre on, theyre some of the best Ive had. Beer selection is great, lively atmosphere, kids can run wild... it keeps me coming back and its worth the dice roll on overcooked wings! Parking: There is a lot of parking but on really busy nights the possibility exists for parking to be at a premium Kid-friendliness: Wide open area next to the river Wheelchair accessibility: Its a public area owned by the city so the wheelchair accessibility meets code. The route from the restaurant to the river has wheelchair accessibility as well.

Went to Scores Saturday for lunch with my wife and her parents. They ordered a thin crust pizza, my wife ordered a veggie, and I ordered some boneless wings, Huckleberry flavored (the spiciest they have). Think we were all a bit disappointed. They seemed understaffed that day and the thin crust was way too thin. My wifes pizza was ok. My boneless wings tasted pretty lifeless and they werent very spicy to be honest. Gotta say, I felt kinda bad I recommended it. I recall going there a while back and had a couple beers and the pizza seemed better. Either way, felt like I should have taken everybody somewhere else for pizza.

Restaurant was fairly empty. 1 large table, 4+ girls working. Drinks came fully melted and watered down. After more than an hour of waiting they finally told us they were short staffed. We waited an additional 10 minutes and left. 13 bucks for 4 soft drinks.

Food took a hot minute to come out but was good, fairly overpriced for what you get back in return though. Had an amazing waiter the guy was cool as heck and was quick with the refills, made light talk for mood purposes and it wasnt forced so you feel welcomed. The atmosphere was what youd expect from a semi sports bar, it was loud but kinda mellowed out due to how late we happened to go. Overall absolutely loved it and my family had a great time

Such a shame. Use to be a greT place to hang out, eat a bit, and have a few beers. Lately, theyve been short staffed, and their attitude shows. Theyre being abused and it shows to the customers. Place isnt going to last long if it stays like this. Saturday afternoon, packed and only two waitresses. 30 minutes and no service. Not acceptable. Clean it up owner or sell it to me!

Be cautious with this one. Ive been to this place on 3 separate occasions and if they are anything it is most certainly consistent. Consistently terrible in every conceivable way. I placed a food order, which I had to walk back inside and check on 3 times only to discover that no one had any idea what happened to my food. Had a server check on our table once while we were there. The fist fight that almost broke out was the cherry on top. The food is not even good. Absolutely horrible. I will NEVER go back to this place again. EVER.

You literally can t make this up! First and foremost, my boyfriend and I have been to Scores about six times in eight months. Out of the six times stopping by, our food has been correct three times. Whether it is eliminating an ingredient or just not getting what we ve ordered, the kitchen staff can t seem to get it right. The ONLY reason we continue to come by is because the location is convenient and the beer is cold; hence the one star. Tonight, I could no longer sit by and not express exactly how disgusting our experience has been. I ll highlight below so there is not misunderstanding. The fact that management hasn t stepped in and gotten this place under control is beyond me. The fact that the health department hasn t been involved is disappointing. 1. I ordered a beer, none of the staff could figure out how to change out the keg. Okay, fine, I ll order something else. 2. A member of the kitchen staff, who we have absolutely no confidence in, decided to come out and watch the game for a while. 3. The pizza we ordered was cold. The veggies weren t even warm enough to call it pizza. It was so soggy we ate it with a knife and fork. Maybe less time in front of the tv would make the food better? 4. We watched a server clean her nails with her tongue and then serve customers! This is beyond disgusting. Pictures below for reverence. 5. Another member of the kitchen staff left the bathroom so smoky from his vape that I honestly had to just laugh and hope to God he washed his hands. 6. The manager or bartender (not sure who works here because there is no uniform, you just have to guess) had the bottle opener in her shorts, held by the elastic in her shorts and her skin. I was really glad that I ordered draft. As long as the nail licking server wasn t involved. 7. Eating behind the bar. This is serving 101, it s gross and unsanitary. I counted four of the staff eating fries behind the bar. I don t know if tonight was fate telling me to forget convenience before I get Ecoli or worse, but we will not be back. I feel that after six times going to scores and the experience steadily getting worse, we are done. I encourage the owners or general managers to tighten up on their staff and the quality of experience because someone else will come in and do better. We really had high hopes for this place. Great place and people but the pizza is bad. They are frozen cheese pizzas that are warmed and your picks added. Ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and got shredded chicken on top and some BBQ drizzled over it. It was not what I expected for a pizza place, I wont go back but it is a great place to watch games or drink with your buddies.

BAD, BAD, BAD PLACE!!!!! NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN!!!!! We had a party of 5, we ordered the following. Appetizers: Cheese curds, fried pickles, (this came out in a timely manner) Entrees: Philly cheesesteak w/waffle fries (came out first, about 20 minutes after the appetizers) 6 boneless chicken wings (came out second 10 minutes after the cheesesteak) Cheese burger Sliders (came out 15 minutes after the wings) Chicken sliders w/waffle fries (came out 10 minutes after the cheese burger sliders W/REGULAR FRIES) 12 bone in wings 3 different flavors (came out NEVER!!!!!) Never an apology or explanation from the waitress which was four different ones that came to our table. Never asked to refill drinks unless we asked. When they did they just refilled the drink of the person who asked. Instead of asked would anyone else like a refill. You can tell ownership and management doesnt care about this place. Its sad to see, they must think since people still come in regardless of the negative reviews that its ok. I went from praising this restaurant for having the best wings in the area to now, the worst wings Ive ever had on this past Sunday. What made it worst. I paid over $70 and didnt eat. What made it worse was the waitress attitude. Instead of trying to resolve a problem, she chose to ignore it. And even went as far as to stop serving us. I will never go back, and never recommend this place to anybody. It was 2 families involved, and 2 families lost at minimum. And yes, I own 3 business in the area, so I know what customer service is.

I m pretty understanding when it comes to being understaffed however when you have 7-9 waitstaff that is present at the time(when the restaurant only has 3-4 tables with people in it, so pretty empty) and your food takes over a hour to come in the wrong order( side, main meal then appetizers) and you at minimum ask why did that happen and get no response or answer it s pretty weird and unusual . Kinda really makes me not want to go there even if the food is decent.

On top of very mediocre food, there must not have been any air conditioning in the building because it was so incredibly hot. It s a shame because their location has so much potential. The most disgusting pizza Ive ever had - the dough was RAW! Couldnt substitute for gluten-free on small pizzas. Somehow the cook couldnt substitute the sauce, which Im allergic to, and simply put NO SAUCE -- yeah, thats right, a DRY PIZZA on RAW DOUGH! Even though it was an inexpensive pizza, I still think I overpaid! The wait-staff was wonderful, but the kitchen not-so-much. Will not be returning.

What started as a hopefully fun dining experience with family and friends (8) before a concert, ended up being a very disappointing dining experience. We were greeted quickly with drink and food order taken by the same waitress promptly. We ordered 2 appetizers, fried pickles and french fries, and they arrived quickly and tasted great. However the rest of the order, 4 pizzas, 2 pizza rolls and 1 wings, began arriving one meal at a time from various waitresses. We didnt complain until after 50 minutes form ordering, a pizza, a pizza roll and wings had still not been brought to the table. Two other large group tables that arrived after us all had their food and had eaten. Our original waitress while in the building never came back to our table. Various other waitresses started coming over and said they would check with the kitchen and their responses each time was 10 -15 more minutes. After this happened twice, the wings finally arrived. After the third inquiry brought back the same response, 10 -15 minutes we cancelled the last pizza and pizza roll. When is this amount of time and service acceptable? One of the waitresses began referring to me as sweetheart when we let them know that this had really become unacceptable service. The manager came over with the bill and apologized however there was no offer to comp the meal or offer any other way of making up for two of us not being served food to eat. The owner has a lot of work to do to improve the experience here. Inside dining area was hot, many flies, waitstaff needs to stay with their table and be coached on not calling customers sweetheart, very patronizing and condescending, and to figure out what is going wrong in their kitchen. For us Scores was a one and done bad experience.

One of the worst experiences ever warm beer and the food quality was horrendous I had a group of 3 we order wings slider and small cheese pizza. Every restaurant I go to they bring the food all at once but at scores they brought out fries we didn t order then 15 minutes later brought my 6 piece wing next and they were tough and didn t bring my cheese fries then eventually brought out my guest waffle fries but not his sliders then we constantly reminded our server we were missing the sliders, my cheese fries and small cheese pizza. They eventually brought out the slider and cheese pizza after another 15-20 minutes later the sliders were dry. And asked our server for check and told them my cheese fries never came and just asked for the check and told him that the cheese fries never came and I don t want them. So when I received my check they brought the fries in a to go box. Overall if I could give half star I would over price food, bad quality, warm beer and horrible service
