Excellent local Mexican restaurant with both Tex-Mex and more traditional Mexican dishes. Chips come with both salsa and black bean dip. Their flour tortillas are made in-house, and they frequently have gourmet-style specials.

Love the salsa thats served with refried black beans also, Like to mix them, served with fresh whole chips and the chips, salsa and refried bean dip are all served hot or very warm! I enjoyed a shrimp with a green cream sauce. My wife always gets the mushroom chimichanga, both were and always are delicious! Drinks are reasonably priced and usually contain good amount of alcohol, no skimping going on here. Try the blue wave margarita!

This place has gone downhill now for years. After 2 years, we decided to try this place again. Service speed isnt terrible, but lacking for a half full restaurant on a Friday night. Whiskey margarita was almost all mixer for $12. Both of our orders came out with the complete wrong protein, which is a massive dietary restriction for me. I wanted to give this place another chance after years, but they are a 100% disappointment. Just as bad as Mexican Inn/ on the border. UPDATE: I will not be returning for their discounted meal. This was the second chance after waiting about a year or two after their last issues. I was hoping the time I gave them fixed their issues but I was highly incorrect and will not be back.

We love this place and our family goes here often for special family Occasions . We rented the private room on a Friday night for a surprise 30th birthday celebration and the staff was excellent in facilitating and helping us carry out our celebration. I cant really give much detail given I was turned down for service during lunch due to a simple request to be seated at one of the few tables outside. The staff told me it was closed but really, its just a couple tables right outside the door with the wait staff literally having to walk an extra five feet? Maybe. The place seemed to have a few tables of lunch patrons at the time of arrival. Perhaps they have so much business they can turn down customers at their own discretion...FYI: Google maps states they are open until 2130 but the staff told me they close at 5 so, Id call beforehand to make sure theyre open.

I have so much love for this place. My husband and I used to frequently dine in but moved out of the area, and decided to make a trip out to eat here again today. Lots of happy memories for us for a quick date! The food is thoughtfully created with great flavors, presentation and ingredients that stand out from other places. We love the salsa and bean dip at the beginning of the meal which was something that kept us coming back. The drinks and service are excellent as well, and the environment is always nice and CLEAN! The restrooms actually smell GOOD. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into Los Jimadores inside and out.

I eat here for years. Tonight. DoorDash brought my chicken fajitas, but I received no tortillas. I also did not get cheese or sour cream, which in the description of the food, the fajitas it says you get cheese and sour cream. I did not. I spent $30 and couldnt even eat it. Fiancé found this place through Google and suggested we go here for dinner. Google said it was really busy but when we called, they said there was no wait at all. Absolutely love this place, and we try to make it a weekly if not bi-weekly stop. Great chips, salsa, and bean dip start your meal off, and it only gets better from there. Go in with my group, were taking a minute to look over the menu bc not everyone has been before. The waiter comes to take our order, we tell him we need an extra minute, he says well how long is it going to be because I dont want to keep coming back. Later one of us asks the waiter for his recommendation and he lets out a sigh. At the end of the meal we were all charged 3.50 for carbonated TAP WATER. We let the waiter know and he defends it saying its the same as a sprite, we are paying for the bubbles, and that its not his job to let us know its an upcharge. I have never been to a restaurant that charges for carbonated water from the tap - not from a bottle, and not listed on the menu - in my life. Eventually the manager comes out to tell us there is nothing he can do because he has no control over the bill. There is an automatic gratuity on our bill that we cant adjust. Its a shame because Ive had several good experiences here but the service on this day is enough for me to never come back. Dont come here if you want friendly service.

Well we only got a couple of margaritas and the guacamole appetizer but everything was very good. Unfortunately our waiters sort of forgot about us outside. As a vegan I have to say they probably have the best veggie fajitas around. Lots of vegetables! Ive gotten it before not this time but did look at it again on the menu and their selection of vegetables for that fajita dish is one of the best. Vegetarian options: Theres always cheese enchiladas spinach enchiladas of course nachos or vegetarian. Very limited on vegan items however. I often will just bring my own vegan sour cream and vegan cheese to complete a meal.

This had good reviews on Google, but it did not live up to the expectations those reviews provided. The service was great. Let me just say this up front. The complementary chips and salsa were good. They have a bean dip that was also good. My lunch companion had a taco salad off the lunch menu. Apparently, it was okay, but the meat lacked flavor and there wasnt a lot in the salad. He also said the shell wasnt stale, but didnt taste fresh. I opted for the enchiladas con mole. The mole sauce, and the rice and beans, were good. But the enchiladas were basically mini shredded chicken tacos folded over with some mole on top. It was not a traditional enchilada experience the way they do it in central and south Texas, that Im used to. Maybe they have some other great options or specialties, but what we had was not representative of our expectations.

I was an out of town visitor and my friends brought me here because they know how much I love Mexican food. Great choice! The atmosphere was lively and we were seated right away. Our vivacious server (thanks for taking care of us, Uriel!) immediately brought us complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered some queso to go with the chips, and I ordered the coconut margarita (YUM!) while my friends ordered a beer and a strawberry margarita. Our entrees were chicken mole enchiladas and chicken quesadillas, and they were delicious! During the meal, the owner circulated through the restaurant, greeting all of us and making sure we were happy with everything. I love that personal attention! No wonder this is such a great place! Let me start off by saying their customer service is awesome. I give that a 5 star. Their food overall all is a 3 on a scale 1-10. My son ordered the Taco de Rib Eye and he rated it a 2.1. The food had no flavor for a $20 plate. I order the chicken chimichanga and I did not like it because there to much cheese and the flavor was bland. My husband order the Tres Salsas burrito he did not like his plate because it was salty. The chile con queso is mid. However, their hot salsa was great. Overall for $75, I would not come here again. I understand why only a certain demographic was in there. There are better Mexican restaurants in the HEB area.

It was a great place to eat only thing I didnt like was I ordered the fajitas and the meat was still pink. But they cooked it well done. Also they guy said if yall order fajitas to make sure yall tell them to cook it well done. So if yall go and order fajitas make sure to tell them to cook it well done.

With a long table table of more than 20, all on separate checks, most waiters wouldnt be able to keep up with our very awesome waiter. He was fast, efficient, friendly and always smiling. Extra requests didnt slow him down. Our food came out piping hot and on time. And our meals were all delicious. Thank you for a great experience! I liked it here. I went for lunch, but I think its more of a dinner and drinks place. It had a nice bar that we did not enjoy. I was not blown away by the menu, but it had some authentic dishes. I ended up going for a salad wirh chicken, since nothing else really called out to me. We had a good conversation and the waiter was nice and even brewed some fresh coffee for us. Overal, we had a good experience. Nothing was extraordinary, but nothing was bad either. The definition of 4/5 stars for me .

Been a somewhat regular customer here, and somehow I fell their food is getting better, well presented and good flavor. Last time we had the seafood enchiladas, well presented and with a little kick on the sauce. Also had a special that was an achiote rub salmon, really good too. The chips are free of course and come with a really good spicy salsa and black bean dip. Favorite Mexican place in the Bedford area. Parking: Plenty of parking

My husband and I have been coming here for years. Perfect date night. Our favorite servers would even know what we wanted ahead of time. We just moved away last March, and are back for a short visit. This is our first place to eat and did not disappoint! Our favorite is the fajita nachos. I would post a picture but there all gone. The flan is also phenomenal. You wont be disappointed in the flavors combined with excellent service.
