Absolute disappointment when it comes to the outdoor water park. You have 2 attractions. The kiddie splash pad and the lazy river. So when you close the kiddie part(on a saturday in the middle of the summer when all the kids are out of school) yet charge FULL admission. Something about that does not set right. So all of us are packed in like sardines in the lazy river? Someone please make it make sense. Then when you ask the teenage lifeguards why it s closed the simply don t know . Also, there should be a separate line for tickets for all the Karens that hold up the lines for 20 minutes with their guest passes . P

Lovely local park with fishing & dock area, a great park for kiddos, walking paths, picnic shelters, as well as plenty of open green space. I bring my 6 and 7 year old girls to play often. I occasionally roller skate the sidewalks as well. You ll find many friendly faces walking their dogs, doing cardio, etc. My girls love watching the ducks in the pond and standing over the bridge with the tiny waterfall. There s a decent selection of covered picnic tables, as opposed to many other local parks that have only one or two seating areas that are usually taken- especially on weekends. There are not many trees to provide shade, so keep that in mind when you visit. There is a covered picnic area immediately next to the park as well as observation benches out in the open. Walking towards the fishing area you ll find it quieter! There s always ducks and the pond fountain to observe. Restrooms are located on that end and kept pretty darn clean. My one complaint is that they re a bit far from the playground area. Not ideal when you have small children and want to ensure they re safe. It s too far for them to go it alone. Baseball fields are kept locked up as an FYI. I was hoping to throw around a ball and teach softball basics, but they re padlocked off. There s still a great amount of green space to play and enjoy. Thanks Bedford! You ve done well with this one for us locals to enjoy.

Went for a 5k. It is a nice place. There is a water park, docks for fishing, a Stonehenge-ish area...big rocks in circle, clean bathrooms and sidewalks for running.

Noisy neighborhood. I reside close by, and since the new management where I reside and right next to this park. I will be moving in the next year. Every one deserves a Peaceful space a place to reside . I believe that new place that took out all the trees, brought way too much Riff Raft. Unsavory people. I wont be renewing next year , or visiting that park after I am gone. Went downhill. Pathetic. Update, they planned a bit better for Sept 2nd. However still cars sneaking in to park with Police officer blocking half our Rd that I wasnt even aware of. All respect to our Police in Bedford, just saying for Waters Park residents they Did Not have Towing in effect Again! After a serious reminder to the Apartment office and Corporate. Called 911 in afternoon Friday when working, as Blasting Music so loud I couldnt hear . And 911 did kindly let me know they were up there to let them know they would be doing sound check, I work Hybrid . So when I am required to pay my rent , Bills water , and everything else. It requires me to be zoned in on multiple screens and speaking with clients, and conversing with them. Seriously, this could have been started after 6pm.ateast !! Give most of the people..I get you wont please all a chance to complete there workday, and how about giving those that Live here close by a heads up!!! 2pm to 11 pm is a long loud day when its literally next to your window. Ouch . Some of your music wasnt bad either, however you are not in a Huge Park with not a lot of residents. Not are you inside where you have sound control. It is what it is. Will give you credit to whoever at least attempted to plan a bit better . Miss the Old park with trees that filtered out some of that noise .

Playground is tightly fenced with the end of a slide two feet from a paved street. All shade trees were removed. A long walk to bathrooms from playground as residents are not allowed in the new rec center. Trees wiped out to build. Only free activity is frisbee golf. If you are a Y member its probably fine. Its a beautiful building. But its not for residents

Excellent, excellent, excellent. My two girls and I just came from the water park there, If you dont have a Y membership, residents of Bedford are $5 to get in. All others are $10 to get in. Food prices are real reasonable, and they let you bring in a cooler with your own drinks. They provide floaties (you cant bring in your own) and have a great lazy river and two huge water slides. A baby pool with a slide and a baby baby pool. We spent hours there

Its great to have a public space with amenities like bathrooms and a playground and nice soft plush grass (which can be hard to come by.) The sidewalks are very nice and accommodate lots of purposes, and there are trash cans about to protect the niceness! Parking spots are available around the property so you can park where it makes sense. It definitely needs more shade and trees. Toilets: There are a few stalls in a modern building, and at events Ive seen extra porta potties added just in case.

HATE the new PC name because giving in to woke idiots is never a good thing historically but... Enjoy the park and venues as always. Dog-friendliness: As long as youre not ignorant to your aggressive breed and you clean up after your pet, welcome!

When I first moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, my real estate agent kept raving about the boys ranch Park. After a while they finally opened up and my family and I were able to visit it. We frequently come to the different events and gatherings that are hosted here and usually enjoy it. Parking is typically packed for these events but usually pretty easy when there is not a special event happening.

Nice park! We went to an Electric Lights art exhibit put on by the City of Hurst and UNT. Its been a long time since wed visited any of the boys ranch facilities between the construction there and Covid shut downs. From what we could see, the park is expansive with a lot of roaming area for people with pets....There were plenty of people with dogs around...All on leashes, from what I noticed. And the playground was a blast for our 2.5 year old and 1 year old! Near the playground, there was a Pavillion with several tables fit for picnics or parties. The pool facilities were closed but come summer, it looks like a lot of fun to be had! Also, the rec center facilities looked pretty awesome from the outside. Id be interested in visiting the whole complex again soon!

(Pickleball, basketball courts, pool, jacuzzi, cross fitness, yoga, cycle rooms, cardio, weights and the list goes on) Looking forward to my family enjoying this new built facility and all of its amenities.

Bedford Boys Ranch used to be so great. Many memories were made at that park over the last 30 years for my family. Generations park sounds like a retirement community.
