Went to meet up for friends birthday and had a good time. DJ was good played music from our time/ generation. The drinks were good, pay as you go is best. We dont open a tab because of past visits, where we got charged extra. It is an all around great hang out.

Used to be the best bar on this side of el paso. Not so much anymore. Bartenders are horrible with the double charges and the struggling to get their attention when their friends are there as well. Food was good. atmosphere not so much and the bartenders not so much. If you dont come to this bar often, I wouldnt start. Went on a Tuesday morning when their good Bartender was working but if you dont know people that come here daily or are a regulars I wouldnt start.

The manager Diana was drugged up and couldn t keep up with our order , brought it to her attention if she s smoking something or in bars and she kicked us out when we hadn t even touched our tacos. She still had the nerve to try to charge the tacos of course I didn t pay for it , worst customer service ever she was extremely vulgar to me and my friend she tried to push us out

This is night and day to the way it was 6 months ago. Very friendly staff. Parking actually has sign and lights that work now. They also do karaoke like 3 nights a week. So if your an undiscovered rock star. Go check it out.

Im writing this review because I really liked the hustle I saw last night. Diana was a motivated manager loving with a sense of urgency! The outdoor patio was great. Nice view of the sunset going down towards the mountains and still have enough shade to enjoy the breeze. Wednesday was slow but they do offer specials on Taco tuesday and wings on Monday. Call to see what they offer.

I will update this if anything changes the next time I visit Crown and Eagle. The atmosphere is always great its a nice open bar with plenty of seating fun entertainment and awesome patio. The last time I visited the establishment the bartender poured very disappointed drinks. It got to the point we gave some drinks back. After I left and paid I noticed they charged me for the poor made drinks we gave back. Out of all the choices for night entertainment, I hope this doesnt happen again or I may have to find an alternative.

Crown and Eagle is neighborhood dive bar in east El Paso with plenty of liquor and beer options at decent prices. It is spacious with plenty of seating inside, large bar area and a very large patio area with cover bar in the back and live music stage. The building is a little run down and not well kept. But, It does have potential as a hanging out for large groups of friends, place to grab a quick drink, watching the game, karaoke, or listen live music on good weather days. Ive only been a couple times and there hasnt been very many people on those days. Service is good and bartenders are friendly and attentive!

Bartender was extremely intoxicated and incompetent. Over charged my friend and I on our tab but since we were with a party of 6 we didn t bother to fight it. What was really unprofessional was how he followed my friend and I to her car talking about how my friends sister didn t pay her tab when she was still inside the bar along with the 3 other people we were with that night. He opened my passenger side door and harassed us saying he was gonna shoot my friends sister if she doesn t pay. It was an extremely scary experience and I will never be going back. Unless you wanna be harassed and overcharge I advise everyone else to do the same.

So as time goes on I have become completely disappointed with this little bar. I have had incorrect bar tabs before here and other places but, have never had a problem with the staff correcting the mistake. Until this past Friday! Not only did we catch waitress jacking up the tab, some of the staff got to the point of wanting to fight with us because, we told the waitress she had to fix the tab. She not only argued about it but was more looking for problems. Such a shame that Friday crew ruined our little hang out of years. My wife and our friends would usually go on Wednesdays or Thursdays, whichever our work gave us time to enjoy. Oh well, crown and eagle just lost more patrons.

I work nights, get off at 7am, so this place is perfect for happy hour. Usually pretty empty, just a few guys from work, maybe a couple others. Cheap beers and a nice patio to relax on after a long night of work. The parking lot is always packed during the day amd at night when I drive by on the way to work, so they must have something going for them. Maybe I will try it out at night on my day off.

I got charged twice I went on Saturday May 29 in the afternoon. I ordered a drink and my friend ordered a Michelada we went outside and we ordered queso fries with beef which was a broken up hamburger patty the waitress said it s kinda small do you want a little more fries I said yes well it wasn t worth the $14 I was charged. My friend and I split the bill and my portion was $13.01 and I left a $3.00 tip then was saw on my bank account another $6.53???? What the hack was that for??? I will not return again!

We went in around 4:00 pm for an after work beer and they had an AWEFUL dj blaring music so loud we couldnt even have a conversation. The bar seems like a good place for a blue collar crowd for happy hour, the dj thing totally killed it, we did not even finish our drinks.
