09.15.24 Traveled back to that side of town again and had my beloved Ahi Tower again. Was just as delicious as I recalled. Service was great as usual, and it was good to be back in my old stomping grounds with an old friend. MK is a favorite of mine, and it shows because I now live 50 miles away, and still go there when Im on that side of town. Tonight I deviated from my favorite -- the ahi tower -- to try the mango blossom, as it had caught my eye the last time I went. As much as I would love to say it was delicious, it was only okay for me. Somewhat bland, really. While Im disappointed that I didnt get to enjoy my ahi tower, at least I wont be wondering if the mango blossom could be a new favorite, so thats good. The service is still great, and I know if Id stuck with my tried and true, the food would have been fabulous, too. (Dont get me wrong, the mango blossom wasnt bad, it just wasnt as great as Id built it up in my mind to be. It was just okay.)

The outside is deceiving because the inside is cuter than you think. PRICE: ~$75 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! Overall Rating: 10/10 - A hidden gem! Definitely making this my go-to sushi spot because the quality here was great and the choices are immaculate - The service here is amazing. Everyone is incredibly nice even though we came close to closing (lol sorry) they were still accommodating and welcoming (we left like 10 minutes after closing don t worry!) - We honestly ordered way too much food (as usual) lol but highly recommend the sashimi platter which was only $30 which I thought was a great deal for the large cuts of fish. - I loved the fireball roll you can never go wrong with a deep fried roll. The MK roll is the same you can t go wrong with a cucumber wrapped roll. - I highly recommend the heart attack which is my personal favorite at any Japanese restaurant is the deep fried jalapeños! - This place is perfection and is so underrated. Definitely check it out, they have a Fort Worth location too!

The food looked good, but the sushi/rolls just didnt feel very fresh. Everything tasted a bit tired. The prices were a bit high for that kind of quality. Service was good. Atmosphere was on par for the price point, though the place looked somewhat empty. The location is very central and easily accessible.

Lovely place! I got tonkatsu ramen and it was great. Partner got a few sushi pieces and thought they were very good. Service was amazing, came to check on us consistently, asked about our food and even helped pack up leftovers to go at the end. We came pretty late but the vibes were quiet, calm and cozy. Parking: Plenty of parking up front with other places around, but they had a rear lot as well

We come here for the sushi. Its our favorite place to go when were in the mood for it. We often get the spicy salmon roll, the pacific roll, the avocado roll, and the calamari roll. My husband also enjoys the gyoza and orange chicken from time to time. The atmosphere is nice and theyre always welcoming. The manager, June, always greets us with a smile and checks in on our family.

Decided to stop in w my son between baseball games as his team was playing nearby. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and service at what I thought was a random sushi joint. Wasn t the atmosphere of a Nobu or Uchi but I enjoyed it very much. We will definitely be back when playing here

It saddens me to leave this review but this was my experience. To give further context me and my fiancé have both work in the service industry. Today we went into the restaurant and got seated for a table of 2 we waited for 20 minutes and no one approached us, no drinks were offered, nothing, our table next to us were getting served circles around us. I got frustrated and asked if we could put our orders to go. After that we finally got greeted from a server, and I assured her that we were taking our order to go. Upon waiting for our to go order we saw a table get seated and get their drink order. At that point we got up from our table and waited up front, the host apologized and stated one of their servers called in, and us not getting service was a miscommunication, but ushered us to pay for our to go order. I paid full price for 2 entrées. That is when I finally got offered a drink, I asked for water. I waited an additional 10 minutes for my order and my drink finally. While I watched the table we left get seated and served, and other party s get served too. In the service industry, my solution would be a managers comp and apology from a manager/owner or maybe from the beginning just closing off a section and saying that there s a wait time because that s completely normal in a restaurant industry. But none of these things were offered to me therefore a bad review.

The sushi tasted off which is a horrible sign for a place that is supposed to be a sushi restaurant. I tried the salmon which didnt taste very fresh. My boyfriend tried the tuna which he said tasted like he grabbed a fish from an aquarium. The $12 chicken kaarage wasnt better than store bought frozen chicken nuggets.

This used to be one of my favorite places, but the last couple times Ive been Ive been pretty disappointed. Theres something off-puttingly sweet about the sushi rice, and soy sauce doesnt help, almost like the soy sauce is also sweet for some reason? To me its almost dessert sweet and not enjoyable. I ordered delivery tonight and everything was just okay, except for the seared pepper tuna nigiri which I couldnt eat because it was very obviously not fresh, if not completely bad.

I love MK sushi in Fort Worth- this location is just as amazing. I had the roe, octopus, and spicy Cajun roll. All of it was amazing and left me and my bf practically liking our plates off. Food came at a good time, we were enjoying and ice cold saporros. Service was very friendly, and our waitress Kim came by many times to check on us. You can never go wrong with MK sushi! Second visit to this place did not disappoint, first time was sushi for which I have no pictures of but it was excellent, this time Japanese basics and all were perfect. The Deep Fried Monkey was excellent lots of crab meat, teriyaki chicken was very good, and the Shoyu Ramen was just like mama never made amazing, even simple stuff like their miso soup is quality good. Food and seafood are always fresh recommendations for sushi: spicy crunch roll, romance roll, and ahi tower. Friendly environment and excellent service every time, with little wait. Food was so good. Got the reggie and the ebi ebi rolls for sushi for our appetizers. Sushi was good portion size, fresh tasting and so good. We also had the tempura bento box and spicy garlic chicken. Both were also outstanding. We had enough left over for dinner so we took it back to the hotel. It was still delicious 6 hours later. Best overall experience. Servers were very nice and courteous. A bit pricey since it cost us 71.00 for everything including the drinks but well worth it.

I Love, LOVE, LOVE THIS SPOT. The Tonkatsu Ramen is yummmmmmmmy, so is the calamari, plus the gyoza s. The pork belly in the ramen was super tender and scrumptious. They had this Peachy Lee-chi Martini which made my mouth water. The staff were super friendly and will recommend some tasty options for you and your friends to try. A small and quiet place, friendly staff at every turn and delicious salmon that literally melts in your mouth. Service is always spectacular and food is always top notch the only problem is parking and that has nothing to do with them, just plan ahead if you re wanting to here in the evening it is always full due to the bars in the same plaza. We ended up eating here last night for our anniversary dinner. There was no wait and the server was amazing. We had the tuna poke bowl and some rolls and everything came out quick and tasted amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good sushi place with other great options on the menu.

One of my favorite places for sushi, and also for salad. I love the Philadelphia roll. It s my favorite roll ever. I also love the side salads they have with that amazing miso dressing. I wish I could have that salad everyday. Now that I no longer live in Bedford, it s hard to find a place to rival this one so every now and then I make my way. Also, the drinks are fire. The lemon drop made me sleep for 7 hours during the day time!! My husband and I love it here.

Excellent service. Waitress was on top of it. She was quick to bring our water , food , and drinks. I had a pomegranate Martin which was 10 dollars. It was delicious. Ahi tower was fresh and full.of flavor. Tuna/crab poke was awesome. They gave us complimentary miso soup. The California roll didnt disappoint. The music is low and allows you to talk. Oh they have happy hour mon-Thurs. Specials on drinks and food.

Stopped by here for lunch the other day. The service was good and my server checked up on me often. I felt like their prices are a little high compared to others. I started out with the beef tataki and eel roll. If you like eel, you can never go wrong with an eel roll. The beef tataki, on the other hand, was a little too cooked for me. I m used to slightly seared beef tataki, but this one was definitely not. I ordered the nigiri after finishing the eel roll and it was delicious. The salmon was so fresh!! I would give this place another try but just order the raw sushi.
