After the consultation I was assigned an associate attorney who then left the practice, which I was never informed of. I then only went through the paralegal about me case until right before a custody hearing. The day prior was the only other time after the consult I spoke with him. I spent the entire time rehashing everything we went over in the initial consult. We showed up for the hearing and he tried to negotiate a deal without taking my needs into consideration and saying I should take a deal that didnt work for me. He didnt prepare me AT ALL for the hearing. My wife and her lawyer had questions and answers rehearsed, while we never discussed anything he would go over. The hearing went very poorly, and afterwards he called me a terrible client and withdrew from my case. After taking several thousands of dollars from me, and literally spending a couple hours in total on my case he QUIT on me. Now Im in a worse position and out of a ton of cash. DO NOT waste your money and time. Do a better job of researching before hiring. I was in a panic and jumped at the first call back I got, and it was a huge mistake.

I am so glad my wife and I found Earl A Hargrave Law Office in 2023. We had the opportunity to work with Mr. Hargrave and Mr. Sauer. They took excellent care of us and helped us resolve a dispute that has traditionally been difficult to resolve. My dad is an international attorney. I grew up watching him, so I know a great attorney & law firm when I see one. Mr. Sauers level of attention to detail around documentation, emails, legal standards, identification of discrepancies, and his innate ability to understand things with lesser contextual knowledge is extraordinary. Big waste of time. I paid in advance for consult than had to wait week and half . I am disabled and requested phone consult which he was 20 minutes late for. I had dr appt so wasn t able to respond to his late call. Left message to call him back and did so after weekend and 4 days, only to be told he could not help me with my hearing next week. In the mean time I told another attorney I did not need them since I had found another. WASTE of time I should ve read reviews I know better! SHAME on you

I have used Earl A Hargrave Law Office for over 20 years for both personal and business matters. They are always very responsive and look out for my best interests as a business owner. They have handled our wills and advised us on inheritance matters. They are my go to with my legal matters.

I was referred to this law firm and thus law firm had a task to write a simple letter and it took forever for this to get accomplished and hen they did write the letter they had errors in it that had to be corrected. On top of this they werent even competent enough to spell my name right on the letter the 3rd time of writting it. I appreciate finally getting the letter however this shows the lack of concern for their clients. I must mention also that the interactions were very unpleasant from the initial attorney consultation. I asked questions and would be dismissed. His negative behavior was confirmed by The State Bar and the referral attorney. Hargrave is a liar and has a very condescending attitude when hes supposed to be a help. Obviously this profession he chose only to profit. STAY AWAY!

Read the reviews before hand. The exact thing happened to me. They say oh you have a strong case and then drop you and your case right before trial was my situation. A complete joke. Do not hire this lawyer. Find a reputable one.

I was Very hurt and disappointed in this law office who refused to work with me knowing my situation and left me with no representation in the middle of a pending divorce. They lacked empathy and made it all about the money and the business. I get it, but these are very sensitive situations that are put in your hands and to feel misrepresented as a whole is heartbreaking.

He Extremely CONDESCENDING/RUDE/ARROGANT AND UMEMPATHETIC ETC. SIMPLY PUT. IVE PAID THIS GUYS $1000 s (multiple) FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. SO I CALL THIS GUY AND REQUEST MY CHILDS MOTHER BE PUT ON CHILD SUPPORT AND HE TELL ME THE EXACT OPPOSITE (ALL WHILE CONTINUING TO CUT ME OFF/INTRAJECT) MID CONVERSATION AND THENNNNNNNNN HAS THE AUDACITY TO FINALLY CUT ME OFF MID SENTENCE AGAIN WHILE EXPRESSING THE PROPOSAL IM REQUESTING AND STATES ABRUPTLY, HEY, WELL IM GONNA GO HEAD AND WITHDRAW FROM THIS CASE AND YOU GO FIND YOURSELF ANOTHER ATTORNEY ..???????? EXCUSE ME!!!! IF I COULD SUE THIS MAN, I WOULD, but I m Sure this will most CERTAINLY CHANGE HIS PAY AND FURTHER SAVE THE REAL FATHERS AND MOTHERS ALOT OF TIME AND MONEY. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! NEVER HIRE THIS LAWYER! You will get ripped off by paying high attorney fees for nothing. In the consultation meeting he says you have a strong case, but after a couple months of taking your money, he drops you saying that you will never win. Hes arrogant, rude, no morals, and no ethics as a lawyer. Please trust what I say because I dont want you to be another victim like me.

Originally, I was referred to this office through our employee assistance program. All the staff in the office are very helpful and accommodating! My parents, my husband, and I are really pleased with the level of detail and assistance we received from this office, and will refer them to our friends and family in the future. If I could give a negative star I would, this lawyer was suppose to do a interview to try to see if we would hire him for a case, instead he just called to basically harass and completely not be understanding. They charge $50 just to do a call, if you are in need of a good lawyer, def. Don t call this guy. He s arrogant, rude and highly NOT trained to work with people. He had no patience at all. Disappointing that lawyers are put here to help people not make their stress worse

Wuld give half a star if I could. BEWARE. you may get ripped off by paying high attorney fees for nothing in the settlement, not even half of my OWN house with the deed in my name. I recommend researching other attorneys.

Mr. Hargrave and his amazing paralegal have been incredible! I was dealing with a family member who was trying to keep my daughters trust fund for himself after her devasting passing on 3/3/15 at only 17 years old. Earl and his entire staff have fought for me for almost 2 years and they have never given up. I just found out that I won my case due to the time, effort and diligence that his office provided me. I have worked with many lawyers both professionally and personally. I can honestly say that I have never worked with a more intuitive and extraordinarily creative attorney as Mr. Hargrave. It is clear that he is very passionate about the law. The way Mr. Hargrave maneuvers in the land of The Law and comes up with incredible twist making his own road is a talent. Mr Hargrave represented me. Due to a threat to be sued for slander I am removing my comments even though its my 1st amendment right! I WOULD NEVER HIRE HIM AGAIN!! I did call the Texas State Bar and told them what exactly happened and his emailed threat. They wanted me to file a complaint against him but It wasnt worth my time. I would recommend an attorney that has a specialty, not a jack of all trades. You get what you pay for.

The law office of Earl Hargrave, have been supportive while in court they were extremely helpful. Their offices are easily accessible from anywhere in the area. I have been able to reach them with questions and information without any problems and we have been able to schedule our appointments around my crazy schedule. I have no complaints.
