If this place wonders why it doesnt get more business, simply put its the sign outside the business. It can not be seen clearly from the highway. Every other business is able to been seen in the short span of time a driver has to glance in the general direction of the shopping center.

This is hands down one of the best bars I have EVER been to! There are bars, and then there are BARS! Ron s Corner Tavern is a BAR! This place is the penultimate bar for drinkers! They have a nearly unlimited selection of both liquor and beer, and they have one of the best Old Fashioned s I ve ever had, and to top it all off, the prices are beyond reasonable!! The cherry on top is the service! The bartenders here are the ultimate professionals, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and real! This should absolutely be your weekly hang spot!!

Nice local Tavern conveniently located off of RT183 west. Easy walk from the nearby Homewood Suites. I stopped in for a couple of beers after a walk. Solid draft beer offering leaning towards heavier (IPA, porters, etc. ) and higher percentage alcohol craft pours. There is also a substantial whiskey selection with several sampler flights available. Friendly, fast and attentive service.

Love this spot! Our server, Kimberly was extremely sweet and friendly and provided phenomenal service to our large party for my friend s birthday. The inside has a cozy vibe and there s a big covered outside patio for those who smoke! They had a great selection of non-alcoholic beverages (I highly recommend the Happi seltzer) and they re connected to a delicious New Orleans style restaurant with great food! I highly recommend the Jambalaya, Shrimp and Grits, and brussel sprouts. As far as alcoholic cocktails go, they have amazing prices! I had an aperol spritz for under $6 which is unbeatable! I can t wait to come back again!!

Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink. I don t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn t appreciate the situation. She didn t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.

The strangest experience Ive ever had at a bar; my husband had ordered a couple of shots and had had a beer- hes a big guy and Ive seen him drunk literally three times in my life. Hes a tank. Our waitress wouldnt allow him to order two drinks at once saying that hed ordered too much already and she had to pace him, and it was the law. Had a very cool tone towards us. He was so, so far from even being slightly tipsy. I closed my tab after one drink since I felt very unwelcome after several strange interactions; my husband never did receive the last drink he ordered. We came here only because we knew it *used to be* one of my friends favorite spots, but this is unfortunately our first and last time here. I was told management recently changed and it isnt what it used to be.

This is a hidden gem. This tavern is tucked away in a strip mall. If I hadnt purposely been looking for a bar in the area, I doubt I would have noticed it. They are predominantly a beer/whiskey place with lots of options. They make a mean smoked old fashioned, that is very reasonably priced. They dont have their own kitchen, but you can order food with them, and its brought over from the New Orleans restaurant next door. Apparently, they do karaoke and trivia, too. Overall , I love the vibe of this place and will be back.

My absolute favorite craft beer bar. Friendly staff, good food, even better beer. Update: I moved out of Texas a few years back, but I still stop in every time I visit. I used to love coming here, once in a while, but the police sit right outside this location, looking for people to prey on, and they stopped me while I was walking-out, one night, claiming I looked intoxicated, when I wasnt. I had previously been to another Rons location and expected them to have the same menus at both locations. They dont. At first my boyfriend and I were very agitated bc their menu had maybe 6 appetizer choices and 6 sandwich choices. I dont remember if there were dessert options or not. But we decided to go ahead and try it anyway. Im so glad we did. We ordered the fried mushrooms and marinated steak sandwiches. The mushrooms were probably in the top 3 of the best Ive ever had. I am pretty sure they dried the mushrooms after rinsing and before battering them. But whatever they did, the result was perfection. They were not dry at all and it brought ought the natural flavors of the mushrooms so I didnt feel like I was just eating fried batter. Now the marinated steak sandwiches come with horseradish but I subbed ranch bc I cannot eat anything remotely spicy. (Note my bf had the horseradish and said it was so good!) The ranch tasted homemade and again the combo of seasoning they used was delicious. Idk what they did to they bun but it was so fresh and soft on the inside with a slight crispness to the crust just like it is supposed to have. The veggies were fresh and actually tasted like veggies and not paper like at some places. Now about the steak?!?!! WOW WOW WOW. Sooo tender! I tasted a piece of it before I tried my sandwich and I would have been happy eating just that by itself. Its been 3 days since we went and my taste buds are still thanking me. And best of all our waiter/bartender was so entertaining. His personality was great and he was so funny. I honestly felt like I was sitting at a friends house watching the game and my bf tipped him $20 (which was twice the amount of our bill thanks to Groupon) bc he was so good. Cannot wait till we are back in the area to visit again. If you dont visit this place you need your head examined. ***Just a suggestion to whoever is in charge of the menu add some loaded steak fries to your appetizers using that marinated steak and serve with choice of ranch or horseradish***

I had a great time here with my wife. I had been here before for the good beer selection, but I didnt even know they did well with cocktails! We tried the menu drinks (like Rons Mule), as well as the more classic stuff like the Old Fashioned, and enjoyed them a lot. This is not an upscale cocktail bar or anything, but we were being served by Paul and he knew how to serve a tasty drink. His recommendations were good, too. It was also a pretty chill atmosphere, at least on the somewhat slow night we visited. I really recommend trying it out, especially considering that there arent a lot of decent cocktail spots between Ft Worth and Dallas.

We absolutely loved this place! The bartender was very knowledgeable of the different craft beers they have, and the food was delicious! If I could give it 6 stars I would!

Just stopped for a couple of drinks while in Texas. Had a little fun. Service is OK. The neighbors are an axe throwing place. Youll feel the thumps in your back when sitting at the booth by that wall.

Tried this place for the first time. Not the same as on the internet, but prices were good and food was even better. Had the Pork Medallions. Food tatted like it was a 5-star restaurant instead of at a tavern/pub. The chef was outstanding. Ill be back just for that reason alone!

Rons always had a great selection of craft beers, especially stouts and porters. Now they are experimenting with an upscale menu. The Crispy Duck is fantastic. The Pablano Chicken has incredible flavor. Dont skip the Bruschetta apertizer. J

Fantastic patio and menu but best of all the staff. Waitress kept the chef after hours, chef delivered my meal himself with a smile and the call to the bartender the next day for my misplaced debit card was meet by a friendly voice and a safe card! Will be back... And not just for my card.
