Fantastic experience from start to finish. I went in for an eye exam, and to get contacts for the first time. Being my first time putting in contacts I was unfamiliar with the process, but the individual working the front desk sat with me the entire time and walked me through the process. I couldnt have had a better experience here. 10/10 would recommend.

I went to Myeyedr on 4159 Dowlen Rd. a year ago with the glasses prescription. I hardly ever used them, and when I started to wear them regularly, a small breakage started on the right side of the frame, as can be seen in the picture. Today I went to the office expecting to have the problem fixed. The employees kindly told me they were not able to help due to the fact that it was a few days over calendar year. They agreed the crack happened as a manufacturing issue and not because of improper usage, yet they did nothing to fix it. These glasses were expensive: they have antiglare, transition and progressive. Of course I will never, ever have glasses made here again.

First time going to MyEyeDr and the experience was fantastic. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Kim did my exam and explained everything she was doing and was so pleasant to work with. I then got to see Dr. Yu who is awesome. He took his time and went over everything in detail and came up with a plan for me. I finished with Lacy who handles glasses and contacts. She was also very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me in finding the best options for me. I highly recommend you give them a try!

I barely waited 10 minutes to see the technician and the doctor. They have state of the art equipment. The receptionists are curious and friendly. The office and exam rooms are sparkling clean. A great experience. I left knowing exactly how my eye health is and what I need to do next.

2 words (bad deal). They won t be in business long. The Dr gave me the wrong prescription. I can t see at all out my left lens. On top of that, they eat up your allowance in fees and you end up paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars for nothing. Scammers! They need to change the name to (somebody s eye dr), not mine.

Ive been seeing Dr. Yu since I was pregnant with my daughter almost 30 yrs ago. He has always been so thorough with me and my daughter. We both suffer from chronic dry eye (and I from other issues) and he has never failed to take as much time as it takes to answer every question to our satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. You to everyone I speak to.

Great visit all around! Front desk was friendly and ready for us as soon as we arrived. Our tech, Kim, was great at explaining everything she was doing, and this is the first eye Dr I ve been to that actually takes pictures of the back of your eye. It was a pretty interesting process. Dr Yu was also great at explaining the results of the exams and listened to my issues, fine tuning my prescription to perfection, and was great at explaining all my options, including drug store readers. I opted for prescription readers, and the techs that helped me with the lenses were helpful in helping me pick a pair that suited me, in the price range I wanted to stay in. Can t wait to get my readers and see the blurry disappear!

I am only giving it two stars, not because of the service or the Optometrist themselves but due to an issue I had. Ive been having headaches ever since I got my eyes exam here. I purchased a pair of glasses and go the bifocal & transition lenses put into the frame. When my glasses came in I picked them up and the next day was out during the day with some friends who also had transition lenses but I noticed their glasses had already darkened due to the sunlight and mine had not. I brought them back to MyEyeDr. and the lady took them to the back and came back and they had turned fully dark like sunglasses should. However, she put the glasses directly under a magnified light just inches away so that did not impress me that the functioned correctly. I even had a photo of the day prior with all of us and clearly my glasses looked as if they were regular glasses, not transitions. They did refund me my $ and I went else where to get the prescription filled in another stores frames and those lenses worked fine on the transition lenses. Fast forward 4 months, I realized my headaches were getting worse and during this time, I had moved. So MyEyeDr was not in my new area where I could talk with them about my issue. I went to a local WalMart store and got my eye re-examined. The Dr. looked at what my prescription said and even checked the pair of glasses I got based off MyEyeDr. optometrist who checked my eyes. This Dr. said no wonder your having migraines, this prescription is waayyyy off. I asked if they were too strong and he replied, no, theyre too weak. Since the new prescription I have not had one single headache. Im pretty sure none of this was intentional on the part of MyEyeDr. but even with insurance and going there compared to somewhere else, they are exceeding expensive for and a maybe just above average dr they hire. I went somewhere else and got 2 frames without insurance this time and it was still less expensive then the inadequate lenses and nothing speial frames I received from MyEyeDr. So the phrase, you get what you pay for doesnt apply here. Theyre just expensive and very under par doctors that must be hired on there. Your eyes cant be trusted to just anyone. Theres better out there, thats for sure!!

I called MyEyeDr to schedule an appointment, Rebecca answered and scheduled me for when I had a day off. When I arrived she also checked me in and there was no wait time thanks to her scheduling. After my very thorough eye exam with Dr. Yu, i found out I have severe astigmatism which was kind of worrying for me but Dr. Yu assured me that its very normal and common, and that explains all my very blurry vision at night. Since my exam was so helpful i decided to purchase my glasses there. The manager Lacy and Optician Kendra helped me with a good sale since I have no insurance. Kendra picked out the perfect frame that fit my face and helped me order the best lenses with anti glare and scratch protection for my diagnosed astigmatism. all in all it was a great experience and they made me feel very confident in my decisions. here we are family.

I was a patient for several years, in 2014 the office no longer accepted my insurance.. For the past 3 years I have not been satisfied with my eye exams. Last month I called Dr Yu s office and my insurance is being accepted again.. I can tell you nothing has changed.. Friendly staff, clean office and on time appointments. I just knew Dr Yu was going to get my eyes right. I m overly excited, I m back in contacts and I can finally see. I suspected retina detachment. The front desk talked to Dr. Yu and got me in right away. I called my own doctor plus all the Opthamologists in town. Front desk seemed to be clueless on seriousness of this situation. However, Dr. Yu s front desk was knowledgeable and courteous. I waited not even five minute before taken back. Very nice staff and customer service. They were very helpful to make sure I understood everything and talked me through everything from insurance to understanding each portion of my eye exam.
