The quality has gone down. I frequently stop by and order links, ribs and bones. They have been dry and the taste is not what it use to be. They use very little sauce which makes a big difference. I have called to speak with the manager about it and I was told the manager would contact me and they have not. I thought highly of this business because it was good bbq. Now not so much.

Portions extremely small for the price paid. I ordered a rib/link combo and received 2 ribs and one link. I ordered a plate and received a combo without sides. The pork bone order only had 4 bones in it. Total cost $40 no sides and 10 pieces of meat drowned in sauce. Check the pictures *Edit from the professional response I received from the person speaking for the restaurant and I will provide the receipt. Ordered on favor as the Google link suggests for delivery. Paid for the 3 items I selected. Once I received the food I called back to be told order was weighed and 2 ribs is a half of a pound and so is the 2 slices of beef. Cool, no problem as far as the plate, favor stepped in and credited some of my money back due to the error on their part. Either way 4 ribs, 2 slices of beef and 4 pork bones $40! Pictures are of everything I received and I m attaching the receipt from my favor order. And when we spoke I told you I left a Google review. Nothings changed but the way I received my order and a picture of the receipt.

I had the dinosaur beef rib which is available on Saturdays! My wife and daughter had loaded baked potatoes. This place, hands down, is some of the best barbecue I ve had grace my tastebuds in a very long time. Staff and cook are warm and friendly! We ll definitely dine there again.

I come here quite often and the food is always good, however, on one recent night I ordered the ribs and sliced beef. The ribs were good but the beef was not. It tasted like it was boiled with BBQ sauce poured on top of it. I would have brought it back but it was near closing time and I was already far away from the restaurant.

Nothing brings me more joy than giving a wonderful review for an establishment that deserves every word. Me and my husband visited Charlie s today, and we both purchased the pork chop sandwich. OH my goodness, the sandwich was spectacular. It was moist, juicy, smoked to perfection, with some of the greatest bbq sauce I have tasted in a very long time; not too sweet, not too spicy, it was literally just right. Extremely succulent. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other items on the menu.

I come to this place often and the past few times that I went through the drive thru and I order sliced beef and they gave me ribs I told the lady about mess up and she told me very rudely you should check your order before you leave .. and this happens with this lady all the time she is very un professional. I never write a bad review on anyone but I had to on this occasion because this is very wrong and I still didn t get my food corrected from this place.

Was in Beaumont from Orange, Texas for a Doctors appointment, and this gem was across the street from the hospital. Went here off of looking for some good BBQ nearby, and this place is good! I got a turkey leg and 1/2 lb of ribs. The turkey leg was good, along with the ribs, just wish I had more! But I understand with inflation and the current state of the economy. I will be back, this time I wanna try the chicken and the bones! Salute!!

This was my first visit as I just learned about it in an article I read. Walking in it is exactly what you would expect for a BBQ joint. I purchased five two meat plates with two sides. My pork ribs were somehow smoked all the way through and my brisket was moist and tender with a generous smoke ring. May have been the best brisket I have ever had in my 70 years. What totally blew me away was his BBQ sauce, sweet and spicy, not too much heat. I have finally found where I will go every time I want BBQ. Just sad it took me so long to get there.

I first reviewed this place a few years ago when they first opened, and I left a pretty bad review on a local Facebook review page. I decided to try it again today, and wow, it s a completely different story. Thick slices of tender brisket and ribs both tasted perfect! Customer service was super friendly and the drive-thru was fast. Anyone complaining about the price doesn t understand the cost of meats plus the time, effort and cost to slow smoke meat. I ll be a returning customer for sure.

In response to the owner: Yes, I did actually leave a positive and raving review when I enjoyed the food. It was the very first thing I did. ********************************************** Original: I was craving BBQ so off to Charleys I went. Was the first customer of the day and was thrilled because if not the wait can be a little long. I ordered the one meat plate. With sliced brisket and three sliced brisket sandwiches. $38.00 I know folks may come for me but I believe in leaving honest reviews. Charley....what happened? The brisket was fork tender only but dry and bland to the taste, the sauce saved it. Their sauce is one of the very best Ive had in the area. Reminds me of the KC style sauce from the Midwest, sweet and spicy. The baked beans could have come from a can. So unappealing. The potato salad reminded me of store bought brand because the potatoes were slightly rubbery. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt fresh. Ill just say absolutely no one stuck their foot in either one. When I frist had Charleys it was lovely, I was excited and bragged on it often. No one could tell me any different but I havent had it since May 2021 and Im not sure what happened but it is not the same quality at all. All I can say is there is some new and stiff competition in the area right now. One cant afford to drop the ball at this point. Charleys sauce is still the bomb though. I may try them again but after today...not at all at the top of my list to do so. Sorry Charley!

As we passed through town we looked for some local bbq and chose Charlies based on reviews. We were not disappointed! We had oxtails, pork chop and sliced beef. All were delicious but the oxtails were melt-in-your-mouth and the pork chop was probably the best weve ever had! Fork tender and excellent flavor! Sauce is awesome! The sides were tasty as well. My husband is a truck driver and we were passing through and had a taste for bbq. So, we read reviews and decided on this place. My food was good and sweet potato pie delicious. Our only complaint was my husband ordered a two meat dinner plate sausage and ribs. He received 2 ribs no sauce and 1 sausage cut in half that were soggy. For $14.50 we expected more meat and a better presentation.

Good food but the wait was ridiculously long. You suppose bbq will be quick because its already prepared ahead of time. They just have to take your money and give you the amount you ask for, but I was in line at the drive through for forever.

I had a chicken plate. The chicken & rice was good the cole slaw was good but warm. Someone did not put our two pies in the bag. $4 down the drain.
