This was our first time at this location. Very friendly staff. They were short-handed. Two people called out. The food was great. We didnt look around and shop in the gift store. I wish we did, though. I did see some beautiful Christmas decor. We will definitely be back.

went there again after many years, things havent changed. went at 3:50pm very few people in there ordered the steak tips w/ mashed potatoes & broccoli (well done) at 4pm didnt get food until 4:25pm steak tips were burnt on one side and broccoli was not well done. wife got the meatloaf and with enough ketchup she said it was ok. sister-in-law got chicken fried steak and it wasnt even edible. waitress was terrible also asked for 3 waters with a bowl of lemons and she brings 3 waters with lemons inside water. i told her i wanted 1 water with no lemons and she said sorry i couldnt find anything to put them in? i asked her for a plain water but never got it. i asked for cornbread and biscuits, she brings 4 cornbread and 1 biscuit? i ate a cracker barrel in Chicago a couple weeks ago and it was good. IDK what is wrong with this one just terrible service

Very slow in customer service. Music is very loud as though you are at a concert. Management is not at all helpful. Asked to please turn down music just one notch and manager refused ever though I told him a had a bad headache. This place needs a good cleaning also. I would not come back here.

What has happened to Cracker Barrel? Is it just this Beaumont, TX location, or is it nationwide? Wheres all the employees? We tried to eat breakfast here a few months ago and were totally unable to get waited on. We left and ate at the Black Bear Diner across the road. We gave Cracker Barrel another try this evening; only about a dozen people seated at tables and 2 waitresses. Our waitress apologized for our wait for our food, indicating they were short staffed. The food was good. However, the waitress was so busy, we got no drink refills and no ketchup. Leaving the dining room, we spotted a couple who looked like they hadnt been waited on at all. Wont be going back, something bad is happening to Cracker Barrel.

The waitress was very unexperienced and I told the manager and her just blow the customer off like she is new and Im sorry. The manager was very rude to the customer did not even care, if we came back or not. The manager did not try to tell the waitress anything of concern for the customers. After talking to the manager we was still seated and nobody not even the manager came back to see if we wanted more coffee, water and juice. It was like i complained and , now we dont want to wait on your table anymore. The pay slip just got thrown on our table and i was like we can leave.. Its a disgrace that they would make my family feel like we were not wanted. Were African American and I could tell that the other White Americans got served quickly and left .Its sad that we were treated like that.....We got to over come , this race issue , because it showed in Cracker Barrell on Sunday. Even though the manager was African American, he acted like he was scared to tell the White waitress that she was wrong.

Chantelle (sp?) She s an excellent server!!! She goes above and beyond. My husband and I ordered Chicken and rice w/mushroom sauce. She asked if we liked or was allergic to mushrooms to make sure we were aware the sauce has mushroom pieces in it. Never have I ever been to any restaurant, up-scale or otherwise that a server cared or was knowledgeable enough to ask. She didn t stop there. She brought softened butter as I requested and it was perfect. She was observant and not aggravating about needing anything. She knew when we needed refill s and was on-point the entire time we were there. She deserves a raise and a promotion!!! She s truly the best of the best. THANK YOU!!!! Oh, the food was good. Nothing outstanding, but good as any restaurant meal of its type.

I ordered the same meal I ve been getting for years: meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. The only thing edible on the whole plate was the cornbread. The quality has really gone down recently- as if theyre trying to cut costs, while sacrificing taste. Mashed potatoes were instant- green beans had oily/chemical taste. Unfortunately, probably the last time I will be dining there.

I went to cracker barrel at 5.30 on 5-21-24 they dont have any help hardly anyone working. The restaurant had hardly any customers. And the girl up front said it would be a 15-20 minute wait. I usually dont write review but the service and quality was below a 1 star. Mind this not first time this happens. Feel need to share our experience. While we elect to dine-in of course we join the waiting list. Once there additional 16 minutes wait before a table. After being seated went straight to ordering. Our server Elsa was occupied with 4 table mindful 2 table was concluding their visit including our. 30 minutes passed by only to get our drinks oh just water Another table of 2 came afterward beside our and ordered as well. After seeing that table got foods and everything. It became apparent we not getting our foods. Asked kindly to make our order to go since close to an hour for just water. Waited finally paid online. Our not so great waiter disappeared never saw her again. She definitely need to be fire or retire if she cant handle it. And we were given our order to go by another person. Upon walked out to parking when realize they were missing 2 orders and have make that dreadful walk back in and ask to speak to manager. The manager never show up only that same person who gave our to go came and ask what we missing. At that point I was about to ask for refund with wife and kid asking what taking so long but I didnt. Waited additional 15 minutes before getting the order corrected. My advice dont ever go there for 1.5 hours of no foods and just water. Even if you order to go chances they get it wrong. Service is below par. Food is average at best. STAY AWAY Cracker Barrel BMT other option across or down the street.

The team has been taking extra care to mark off every item on the receipt and makes sure all food is there in the to go orders and u appreciate this so much. I had an issue with my dinner. I ask to speak to manager Jennifer she offered to replace so I ordered just 1 pancake. I still got charged for the meal I didnt eat. Her explanation was that she was only replacing the meat portion on my plate with the pancake. So Im supposed to eat a pancake with mash potatoes and corn for dinner. Who eat that? Placed a mobile order at 8pm on 5/14/24. Order a kids cheeseburger, home style chicken plate, chicken pot pie and an order of pancakes. Waiter brought food out and informed me they were out of Mac and cheese and biscuits. No biggie, they offered me a free entree, cool! I visited today after church. It took about a 10-minute wait to be seated and the waitress came to my table fairly quickly. But it did take over 30 minutes for my order to come out, which even seemed longer because they did not bring the biscuits and cornbread until after the food was delivered. I noticed because the table next to me got theirs even before they made their order! The food was good and I enjoyed being there. I ordered the chicken pot pie and what I got looked like a frozen dinner in a plastic container. The dough on top was still raw and they said they made it fresh. NOT. The waiter was great and took it off the bill.

Ordered Hash Brown Casserole for breakfast....my favorite. But why cant I get my eggs fried instead of scrambled? Laura said there was no button to change the eggs??!! Miss the days where you could communicate with cook staff. Why not a special instructions button?

Of ALL the years I have came to this establishment, never have I experienced the customer service I did today. Never had to call a manger. We waited 30 mins just to be asked for our drink order then another 30 mins while waiting on food. We watched customers come after us offered biscuits while we just sat and watched. When food was given it was cold. Our waitress was more concerned about cleaning tables and helping the tables that were already eating instead of helping us. Disappointed today..

The food was horrible the only thing good was the cornbread biscuits. My food came out cold and was just thrown on the plate I had to wipe the access food off the sides. The sides usually come in the bowl but for some reason that didnt at this location. Clearly, the cook did not want to be at work. The waitress was nice and very apologetic about the situation

Make you wait 10 mins in the gift shop to encourage you to buy nick nacks even if they arent busy. The portions are very small and It doesnt take very much to fill me generally. The food was barely to par. I havent been to any of these restaurants in many years, but its changed...and not for the better. Just being honest, Im pretty disappointed with the direction these restaurants are headed.

Bacon was cold, other food was just warm and pancakes were burned. Manager refused to even take off the $2 add-on and said to come back later and talk to the general manager. Will be 500 miles away later. Server lied and said we ate them but we had pictures of burnt pancakes to show. $2 would have stop this bad review. This is the only bad Cracker Barrel weve ever been to, probably why the parking lot was empty.

CB has always been our occasional go to breakfast. The service was not great, no chocolate milk, thin pancakes, no wheat toast, no gravy when they brought out meal, overdone eggs. Very disappointed.

If this has been the first time to ever visit Cracker Barrel I dont think I would ever return. First they sat us at a small table that leaned every time you moved and when we talked to the manager about it she made excuses for it but didnt even offer for us to move. My husband ordered roast beef but had to use a steak knife to cut it because it was so tough. The overall experience was very unpleasant. Not sure if well go back any time soon.
