Whoa talk about great big portions of food? Floyds has it. I ordered a salad and when the waiter brought it out OMG it was huge. Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! The service was Awesome. Jordan L. He was on top of it all. There was 7 of us there and our huge order came out quick. Want to thank the cook also. I recommend Floyds to ur whole family. That was my first time to be there and I will b back.

This Floyds has good food and great service! Jordan L was our server and he was very professional and friendly. The two other staff members on duty were very inviting as well. The hostess at the door and another server in the area. They greeted us well. This was our first time at this location and we had a variety of the grilled oysters. We will definitely be back. The manager Josh has great hospitality as well.

Food can be inconsistent, delicious when it comes out hot and it s not over cooked. Great Bloody Mary s and Texas Tea drinks in flavor but really lacking any alcohol for the prices so not a great place to get drinks. The food is overpriced for what it is and for the inconsistency, there are just so many better places to get consistent seafood for less than here. The fried zucchini and onion rings are delicious when fried crispy and not left soggy, again consistency. Service can be inconsistent also, attentive and fast or very slow and you get ignored. Restaurant always clean. Restrooms too. I would never recommend their meeting room. $200 room fee before even purchasing food. $45 steak with 2 tiny shrimp, photo marked. Not worth $45 at all, there shouldn t be a room fee when the food portions are so small and basic for such a high price. They ve gone up on prices again. We tried to do happy hour but the food wasn t that good and they were playing old man music, it wasn t very fun. Weird because they used to play more current stuff I thought. The Floyd Hurricane is not good, just juice, no liquor.

Floyds is the best! Its the third time me and my husband has been there, we had order appetizer first of fried pickles and alligator bites, and then order 2 1/2 pound of boil shrimp with medium spice, and let me tell you everything was on point and absolutely delicious! Our server Lupita was the best always checking on us and keeping up with our refills, I would definitely recommend Floyds to my family and friends and make sure they ask for Lupita as their server

Let s start off with the atmosphere.. love that it s not overly crowded like everywhere else in Mont Belvieu. I ordered the smothered hamburger patty with grilled onions with sautéd spinach and sweet potato fries . Everything was the right size portion that it was more than enough for me to take back home oh I forgot to mention i ordered spinach artichoke dip along with seafood fondue both were delicious and our waiter Jordan Lowry who was very attentive and seen that we had everything we ordered and brought out in a timely manner . We didn t have to keep asking him for items he kept coming back to check on us. Best service and great food . We will be back

This is my second visit to Floyds. First visit was really good. Second time not as much. I decided to try something different today and totally regret it. Their seafood is really awesome. The chicken fried steak not so much. I wouldnt recommend it. The steak was really thin and tasted of a cheap quality meat not to mention the batter was really salty and flaked off very easily. The mixed drinks are always very good here. Ask for Jackson. Really cool guy and excellent server.

We have been coming to Floyds for years. However, the price increases and diminishing quality of their food means this will likely be our last time dining there. They have almost certainly changed their batter for their fried menu items and it is NOT for the better. The seasoning they put on the fried zucchini that we loved has been changed to almost pure chili powder with barely any parmesan cheese topping. It took much too long to speak to a manager about our food quality and skimpy portions. This is a shame because this was a favorite place to stop on our way home from Crystal Beach.

Ive never been impressed at any of the Floyds, just another place to eat. I have to buy lunch every day for my crews n job contacts. They always request to go to Floyds, but every time we go, everyone is always why do we keep coming back here when we are done eating. If I had to compare, its like going to papas or olive garden. Been visiting Floyds since they opened their 1st restaurant. This one has never quite lived up to the days of old, but was definitely good enough and the best around Mont Belvieu. That all changed tonight. My wife absolutely loves their crawfish bisque. Tonight she couldnt even finish half of it. Fishy tasting and not hot. The bread was also stale (and thats never the case). We also had an order of the bar trash that we couldnt eat, it was fishy tasting, stale, and tasted of old oil, but with absolutely no flavor. This was not hot either. Ive been adding a floater to my Hurricane Floyd for years and was informed that it was not allowed (the hits just keep coming) I also left half of my shrimp because they were sub par. The best thing about my dinner was the baked potato. We thought it was going downhill a month ago and this just confirms it. We dont spend $160 for 2 people and give 3 strikes, we give up on this location. Will try Tia Juanitas in Winnie

In my opinion, this is the nicest location that the brand has. It s always clean and the staff is friendly. I had gumbo during this visit and was a little disappointed at how watered down it was. While you typically get a good portion of food when you order, the bowl of gumbo is only an appetizer. I would think that a Cajun based restaurant would have a full size portion of gumbo as a staple meal.

I dont understand the hype. I first went there about 5 years ago. I was not impressed. The food lacked flavor and it was pricey. I went again this week. I thought Id give it another chance. The food is still bad, in my opinion. Its very bland. It doesnt have enough seasoning. Not only that, my side order of vegetable medley tasted like freezer burn. You could tell it defrosted at some point and then refroze. It truly looked like the veggies I buy from the HEB frozen aisle. The waitress was very nice but my drink was empty by mid dinner. Do not order the grilled cheese. The seafood inside was dry and it was two pieces of toast. NOT a grilled cheese. One slice of toast had a very small thin slice of Gouda and one other slice (cheddar maybe). The small ish amount of (dry) seafood was kind of stuck to that cheese. The other side of toast was had nothing on it. Just a dry piece of toast. My French fries were half cooked and the service for a lunch during the week when they were not busy was horrible. Went to Floyds after a long afternoon of pulling our RV through Houston, once we got the RV parked. Sat at the bar, which was very well stocked, and ordered apps and a couple of cocktails. Food came quickly, but follow-on service was slower than expected given the size of the crowd. Ordered some cajun-style food, which tasted great, if on the heavier side, and the beverages were well made. Was disappointed in the very loud country music, which made conversation somewhat problematic. Overall, I would recommend Floyds for food and drinks.

Ok, Im not very happy with this one. Jambalaya was not really Jambalaya, just rice with sauce looking like it got squirted with Jambalaya sauce (mushy). Fried catfish was mushy. Breading, I know where its from, so Im not commenting. Blackened catfish was barely cooked enough to where it was slightly undercooked, not happy. Onion rings were ok, but they needed more seasoning. Coke Zero was flat and asked for ice tea instead. The one good thing was the fried green tomatoes, but just 3 slices?! Come on guys, 3 slices between 2 people, and youre asking 9.99 for them? Are we supposed to fight for the last one? You have a nice restaurant, so make sure you always have someone on expo to make sure the orders come out right. The service was great, and the atmosphere is pleasant 70s/80s rock . The food was missing flavor. We ordered the fried calamari, Norwegian Salmon, and Mahi Mahi. The salmon was okay, and the other two dishes were tasteless.

The server was overwhelmed handling two tables, a ten top and a five top. We were constantly asking for refills and to remove dirty dishes from appetizers or people who had salad. The food and drink order took forever. There was no sign of a manager walking the floor greeting customers or checking on tables, and the restaurant was slow. There were plenty of staff on the floor, and never once did any of them offer to assist. Also, tell the grumpy bus guy to act like he enjoys his job instead of slamming the dishes into his bin. Train your manager how to manage a restaurant.

Went in the afternoon and the bar trash grill cheese sandwich was great. Even came with a cheesy tomato soup for dipping. If you know, you know. Cold beer to top it off. Perfect match for a gloomy day.

I was not impressed. The food didnt taste as good as I expected and especially did not reflect the high prices. Our server was great! She was very attentive. Only thing was that when it got close to closing, like 30 minutes before she started to pick up the sugar and condiments off our table. I got a sense of being rushed out which isnt very fair especially since we got there at 7 and it took so long for our food to come out. We certainly will not be visiting again. Theres restaurants with better tasting food with better prices.

I do not recommend going with a crowd. They do not do reservations or call ahead seating. We came in with 20. We had terrible attitude from the hostess that was seating us. We were celebrating and had people out of town. The calamari was good. I ordered the crab bisque and had to send it back. Every bite I took had shells in it. My husband had the gumbo and poboy which both were salty. I probably won t return due to the experience.

i went to Floyd s last night for the first time. the food was good. but the service was so terrible i will never go back. The waitress was so rude and passive aggressive a manager had to step in and serve us. But she literally had the same rude and unwelcoming attitude so i can see why the employees are so bold to be so disrespectful to their customers. These people are either racist, miserable of their own boring pathetic lives, or both. My guess is the latter. Would not recommend.

Probably the best service we ve ever had. Presentation was fine but the flavor was amazing! Pricing was decent, about $18 for my chicken fried steak and $10 for a hurricane. Only negative I have is that we were seated next to a large party (my party was of 2) and I would ve liked to be seated on the other side. I didn t request a change bc our server was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place was more than I could have expected! We had gayer for appetizers and my mother in law had fried shrimp and fries and I had a the best grilled cheese that had Gouda cheese, shrimp, crawfish and crabmeat !! YUMMY on all ! I could have tried everything on the menu! But, the grilled cheese was to die for!

Nice and new looking. The waiter seemed a little out of it. Dec. 25 maybe Christmas hangover. The food was excellent and some really nice fat raw oysters. Yhe corn maque chow was a really good side and a something different.

My server was terrible. Walked by my empty glass a couple of times. Someone from the back brought my food out and refilled my tea. It was as if the server wanted to not do any of the work but expected a nice tip. Server was overly nice but lazy as heck. Basically useless. Food was a little less than average. Ill vote with my wallet. I wont be back. Parking: The parking lot was paved. It was the best part of the entire experience. That should tell you a little about the server.

Came here for the Cajun food and it did not disappoint. It is not Opelousas, but it had good food and it was fresh and prepared well. Lots of options on the menu and there were no complaints about anything we ordered. I will definitely go back in the future.

Shrimp cocktail was served on bed of lettuce and not on edge of glass with sauce and other stuff. Seafood combo was not very favorable. Shrimp on poboy had no favour. Very disappointed in food overall. Maybe the other food items are better?

Ms. Ruth provided good service. Crawfish Bisque was good. Shrimp Remoulade salad was ok. Generally, not as good as the Floyds in Beaumont. A bit disappointing.
