Somehow the mosquito are under control with the mount of water. Only bad thing is it says no fishing in some areas but you already now if you care you listen to their rules while others dont give a dam.

Expansive Park with awesome trails and hidden gems everywhere. Fishing seemed to be popular too by the number of men out there fishing. Would be a great place for events, family reunions, weddings & such. Wild, but really accessible too. Bring a cooler with drinks & snacks, bait or whatever to get the most out of your stay. I enjoyed myself discovering all the lil nooks and crannies. Will definitely return.

Been fishing here allot lately. Has 4 main piers but 3 can mainly stand 1 person at a time . If you like to park n fish out of your trunk, has plenty areas for that. Also can walk your fishing gear to many areas and bring a lawn chair. Caught a 37in Redfish off the short pier. Honestly been slow since but I just love the privacy of this place, especially Mon-Thurs, its not many people!

Beautiful place to visit, 1st time there to fish off a pier, was there for 20 mins till a father and daughter showed up to fish real friendly people, 10 mins after a couple show up to fish saying there their everyday fishing but the female companion with the male was intoxicated to where she was being rude and annoying playing music on her phone really loud and singing which made the peacefulness go away, started arguing with her male companion throwing her fishing pole started swinging it almost hitting me kept looking at my wife really ugly n making loud gestures to she isnt scared to fight anyone on the pier, so to avoid conflict we packed up and left, made a 2hr drive out there to fish peacefully for only 30 mins, not the parks fault for her actions but there are signs when u pull in to pay which say no alcohol allowed...will not be taking that drive anytime soon but is a peaceful Beautiful place just to get away Toilets: No restrooms available except for porter pottys

This place was so nice and clean. It was a real quick idea to go fishing and have a picnic by my 5 year old so we decided to go here. I was so surprised of how big and accommodating it is. It has port o potties but they were maintained. Trash bins were empty, tables and gazebos where clean and the property was litter free. The park was big enough with some cute attractions. Very much recommended.
