I don t frequent Kroger unless it s the closest store in proximity. The produce is never really fresh there is always some soft or slightly rotten fruit in the mix . I ve also noticed that it s better to go through the full service checkout if you re black because if you go through self checkout you have to get the attendant to double check your order before you pay . It s actually prefer they d have more cashiers so that I didn t have to check myself out . I ll stick to .heb.

I shopped here today and checked out at 12:28. When I arrived home I put my groceries away and discovered that 4 items were missing. I checked the trunk of my car 3 times before I attempted to reach out by phone to the store. I was transferred to another line and I was placed on hold, I waited approximately 10 minutes and no one answered. I attempted to reach them several times and each time I cannot get the help I require. If anyone answers they just transfer the call and the same result-NO ONE ANSWERS. I live in Crosby TX and I had to go to another store (in Baytown)to pick something else up and decided to go the Baytown Walmart.

I placed a delivery order on a Friday to be delivered on Saturday between 6pm and 7pm. This was a delivery for work because we would be providing food for everyone that night. On Saturday at 7:15pm I received and email that my groceries would be delivered between 8-9pm. Ok so they were late, I could deal with that. At 7:49pm I had a missed call from Kroger. At 7:53pm I called back and was told they close at 8pm and my groceries would be delivered on Sunday morning. At this point I have 15 people hungry and relying on Kroger for dinner. Keep in mind we aren t able to just leave the job site to go to the store. I asked the lady if I could have someone come pick my order up. She said no, I can t swap it over. I said do you have my order ready and she said yes. I explained I didn t understand she said I can t swap it from delivery to pick up and we are closing right now. She told me my groceries could be delivered in the morning and that the third party delivery company didn t have a driver so my order was canceled. The problem I have with this is there was no accountability and not one ounce of trying to help me. The lady was rude and not helpful at all. I will not ever use Kroger delivery again.

First off I called Krogers corporate office in Houston about a serious complaint I had at the Garth Road location, they said that a district manager was going to call me they never did! The management staff here are totally untrained to resolve conflict therefore it took my business across the street to a wonderful store H-E-B!

Im handicapped and I used motorized carts...most of the time, I have to e change carts 2-3times...its very aggaravating...carts most the time are NOT plugged in...I was so mad one time. Clean store with kind staff, but the delivery order services are completely disorganized. The store pickup might leave you with old produce and the website/app has some oversight issues. My family placed some orders and we quickly regretted it, and it took 3 weeks to fix those problems.

We arrived at 8pm the entrance doors were locked and we had to go through the exit doors. Keep in mind the store hours are until 11pm. Then the deli that is supposed to open until 9pm was closed so they could clean up. This store sucks!!!!

While this is a really nice and big Kroger they are far behind HEB. They have a competitor directly across the street from them and I d rather go there. My biggest issue is their click list staffing. They don t shop thoroughly and often mark your items out of stock. I ll park after my order, go into the store, and find what I ordered on the shelves. They consistently call when your order is due saying there s a staffing issue and to come later for your pickup only to still not have thoroughly shopped your order. This massive store almost always has 1-2 lines open. Management walking around watching the long lines with no intervention. Lastly, their produce doesn t last you re sifting through half molded produce all the time.

My order was canceled without reason I had to call the store and find out why. When I worked clicklist at kroger for a different location we would always give our customers a courtesy call if we ever needed to cancel an order. I was not satisfied with the reason for the cancelation of my order. I wasnt given any options for substitutions.

First time ever in a Kroger. Did not know they had anything other than groceries. This place was clean, very well stocked and had so many options! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Checking out, I had a couple questions and Kenya was very helpful. She didn t rush me or treat me like I was a nuisance. Then a young man actually bagged my groceries for me!!! From now on, I will drive 20 miles to go to Kroger before I will drive across the street to a Walmart.

Love Kroger BUT I did not like how they assume I did not scan a $1.50 item. When I had more expensive items I was buying. I scanned it several times because I got a message and after the 3rd time that I scanned it, it said nothing so I was ready to pay. The older lady came up to me and said wait you forgot to scan and item. Now she scared me when she approached me and I felt bad like I did something wrong... What... Why should I feel anything but good like I had been before she approached me???? So she scanned the item for me 3 times or more and the bar code would not read!!! We had to use the barcode of the same item but it was another one I previously scanned . Ha I know I scanned it but she was already accusing me. Instead she should have said...Miss something isnt right with the barcode on your last purchase and it is not reading it let me help you!!!! But no. They need to teach Kroger workers a better way to approach a customer and not accuse before they really figure out what happened!!!! If this continues I will only be loyal to H E B I never have that problem there. (The lady was looking at me while I was scanning because there was no one else but me buying in the morning. And really I felt like showing her my bank account to show her I have plenty of money.) I hate to post about his kind of stuff but Im sure Im not the only one this has happened to.

Kroger unfortunately lost a sale on a cake that could have been sold if the bakery employee cared to have done her job with any sense of fitful intention. I was on my way to HEB to purchase a cake for my grandpa, but I d figured I stop at Kroger since it was closer. Kroger had a dim selection, but we found one good enough. We asked the lady to put happy birthday grandpa and it somehow turned out to HBD Gradpaw and you can see how ugly it came out to be. On our way out we informed the clerks that we would not be purchasing this cake because they misspelled grandpa. Ridiculous, and this isn t the first time I ve had a negative interaction with that lady at the bakery department. Once, I ve asked her to give me a slice of garlic bread behind the counter and I could feel her attitude. She s seems to have difficulty with being asked to do simple tasks of her job. Seems ridiculous, and honestly, they should move her to a job where she does not interact with public. Anyhow, I went to HEB and the ppl there were kind and polite and they spelled grandpa correctly. Ultimately, I will definitely be buying cake somewhere else.

AVOID AT ALL COST!! IN THE KROGER APP YOU CAN SELECT TO PURCHASE HOUSE PLANTS POTTED PLANTS OR FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS. DO NOT DO SO!! I selected two beautiful hearty house plants through the Kroger app from the floral department and was told that they would be shipped one week after I purchased them. The one week passed on Friday and I was sent an email from Kroger stating that the delivery was complete along with a photo showing the items that were placed in front of a door of someones house. This was not my house. I called customer service to request assistance and all they say is that they were not aware that you could purchase house plants through the Kroger app and that their system showed no purchase from me regarding those items. Therefore Im on my own trying to find out how I can get a refund on my money over $50.

Perfect place and safe parking lot for groceries and for grabbing a Starbucks. This is also a great place to get prepared food in the store and eat right next to Starbucks as there are tables aplenty. The TV is always playing super loudly and can be obnoxious-no one watches it as everyone is on their own device. There s an outdoor seating area as well, but there are always smokers out there. They have a great floral department and the manager, Lisa, is always friendly and willing to work with you on school or special event floral orders.

If your vehicle requires 93 octane, buy at your own risk. Kroger will not accept responsibility for the damages done even if ur mechanic pulls fuel samples for you. 1000 dollars later, two weeks later, and not including not having a running vehicle. Our family suv runs a whole lot better. Kroger will refer u to an out sourced company named Sedgwick, who handles their claims. Nothing was done but excuse after excuse. Sadly, our mechanic told us thats the weakest premium fuel he has ever seen. So, fair warning .

Had a pickup order supposed to be ready at 1. Drove 30 minutes to pick up and they ask us to come back in 3 hours because it s not ready. I told them to cancel my order and they told me I could do it online. I left to go get my groceries across the street and spend my entire visit there on the phone with Kroger trying to cancel. I couldn t cancel online and got the text that my order is ready. Well at this point might as well pick up because I can t cancel. Spend over a hour waiting again in the parking lot because I m being told they cannot cancel my order and I had to call the main store to get a person on the phone! Then they tell me it doesn t update when you check back in because you ve already checked in! Never again Kroger!!!!

I went an hour ago to the seafood department and was treated poorly. My mom always complains about this one African American lady there but I tell her that maybe thats the way she is. However, today she completely ignored me standing there. I wanted it to slide but she said that she wasnt going to attend me because I didnt respond to what I wanted within 3 seconds she asked. I was looking for the chicken wings I always get, didnt take me that long but they werent there and I have poor vision. She didnt even let me say anything before she said that to me. She always has a very poor attitude towards us. I am always nice to her because she may be going through something. I just been defending her attitude but I noticed its just with us and not the other customers. I walked off without buying anything since she wasnt going to attend me. Salmon was very bad from a few days ago too.

They stopped selling fresh fruit on the salad bar, then I grab a few fresh peaches that are on-sale. I get to checkout, and find out I gotta download their app and use a digital coupon to get that price.. or pay 3.5 times as much. I am very disappointed with Kroger s deli and their fried chicken. I ordered a 48 piece box of fried chicken for a family get together. The chicken was over cooked and/or fried in old or burnt oil. It was also stuck together and it was hard to identify the pieces of chicken. I understand that chicken breast are the most expensive but I didn t request a box of breast. My 48 piece box contained a few wings, a couple of thighs, some drum sticks and lots of breasts. I called and spoke to the Deli manager, Sandra and all she could say was that she was very sorry and ask for her next time and she would make sure my order was prepared right. This chicken cost almost a dollar for each piece! I seriously doubt if there will be a next time. I expected more from you Krogers! Very disappointed!!! I guess Popeyes or Kentucky s will be getting my business from now on.

The young lady that was working the gas pumps today said my card was declined when I new there was money on it. When I went to slide it again I realized she didnt offer me my 50 cents off my gas which I knew was there. When I asked her about it she said I only had 3 cents off. With gas prices as high as they are right now I think everybody knows where their fuel points are at. And it was kind of disturbing that she blatantly lied to me. DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE PICK UP ORDERS!!! GO TO HEB INSTEAD. If I could give this place a half a star I would. Customer service is so awful. I went to pick up my online order that should have been ready between 5 pm to 6pm. When there at 5:30 pm and waited over 45 minutes. Other people where getting their orders and leaving is shorter wait times then I did. When I called they kept telling me it was coming out and would hang up on me. The last time I was told they were running behind, I asked why people got their orders before I did and I had waited longer than they did, the dude hung up on me again. Called the customer service, they said there was nothing they could do. Asked to speak to the manager and the person who answered gave me attitude because I wanted to ask why it was taking so long for my order to come out. Manager still hasnt called me back yet and I am sure I wont get a call back either. Save yourself the headache and just go across the street to HEB. Their online pick up system is soOo much better than Krogers. Theres a reason people stop shopping at this place.

This is an update changing from 5 stars to 3. Kroger never has Minute Maid Limeade. Seems to often be out of quite a few items that we have always purchased in the past. We have actually had to start purchasing from HEB to fill our order. If things do not change soon, we will probably move to HEB completely. This is a ongoing issue.

While it isnt awful and the cake does look pretty cool - I cant help but notice the obvious white spacing issue. I understand its a sheet but they could have evened it out so there was a white strip on both sides. It looks rushed and not done with a lot of care and effort. My son is happy with it. He loves the dragon. As long as hes happy, so am I. I will say that we got his cake from here and my daughters from HEB in town and hers was done with so much more care. Ill stick to ordering our cakes from there from now on. As far as the store itself goes, we will still shop here. We enjoy having a Marketplace close to home. Thats why I still gave 4 stars rather than 3 for the Bakery alone.

While the employees here seem friendly enough, often they are severely understaffed. I wish there were a sign on the door warning us that there will be no registers open, so that we can go elsewhere in those times. Went to the meat Dept. Store had rib eyes and rib eye roast on sale. There were no steaks out so I grabbed the roast ($32.00) and asked the butcher to slice it into steaks. I told him I would buy the whole thing. He told me they do not slice meat into steaks. I told him they didnt have any steaks out and said oh well. I put the roast back and Krogers lost 32.00 sale. With the fuel I bought and groceries I spent 135.00.. Krogers you have lost a long time customer.

Not a fan of Krogers as I once was in the past. Kroger did a terrible job on my online order. The first time I did not get all my items, the next time no substitute given, and the last time I waited for 30 minutes and my order did not come out I had to leave to be at work on time. Im a general manager for a travel center and I spend hundreds of dollars a week on fruit from kroger. Recently I had an issue I needed help with and not only did this kroger shoot me down, but they were too busy to even let me speak with a manager. Luckily I went to HEB across the street. They resolved the issue within seconds and had a manager there to make sure I was taken care of. Easy business decision to make right here.

Jenny cashier @ register #15 Was so bad customer skills she was flirting with another worker name was george I read his batch. She left her register go talk to the guy and the Asian girl who was bagger went inside of the register and gave my receipt Usually I go HEB and today Im not going to that kroger. I called customer service and the lady didnt want to give me her name and transfer me with the manager. This is the second time I have bad expirence at this location. I sow rouches where the can of beans are I told one of the guys and his response was what do you want me to do. I left and I wont come and recommend to go that nasty store. I will call health department about this issue.

Not sure who the HR is but seriously needs to revaluate whos being hired. Unprofessional Customer service, attitude from line 15 cashier. Never knew I had to remind Jenny how to give me my receipt instead of her flirting with a fellow employee named Jorge. Just cause Valentines Day is around the corner doesnt excuse for not doing ones own job.

I dont come to this store except to take my friend grocery shopping. One of the few times I came inside was tonight. When I came back out to my car there were two young employees talking by a cart return as they gathered up carts. I was sitting in my car waiting for my friend to finish up inside and one of the gentlem asked if I was ok. That touched my heart because he sounded genuine with his concern. Props to the young mans parents.

I have an heb 2 minutes from my house. I drive 15 minutes away to go to kroger because Im a loyal Kroger customer....until now. I have small children and a shift working husband so to avoid dragging a toddler to the store click list is a wonderful option. However, I have had several bad click list experiences where I have recieved expired items. First 2 times, fine Ill give them a pass. But 3rd time, I even put on the notes under time sensitive items like bread, farthest expiration please. Placed a click list order March 5th. So why does the expiration on my bread say March 4th?! I had to make another trip back to the store to exchange the bread with a toddler crawling up my side. I dropped expired bread at customer service and explained situation. The lady told me to go get a fresh loaf. Came back 5 minutes later to desk and NO ONE was behind desk. There were several people waiting in line and no one at the desk and the manager was very clearly standing there and saw that no one was there to help customers. I believe he was trying to radio for someone to come to the desk but why couldnt HE come over and help or at least assure customers waiting in line that someone was coming. In the meantime the line is getting longer and 5 minutes has passed with not a sole behind the desk. It was around noon so lots of people on lunch breaks were arriving at the store. Finally one person shows up but then I had to wait for the few people in front of me. After about 15 minutes of waiting just to exchange expired bread I was finally helped. Expired items should not even be on the shelves let alone given to click list customers.....especially when I specifically indicate in the item notes to give me a product with farthest expiration date. Gonna give HEB online ordering a try and hopefully they wont give me expired items.

Very disrespectful store manager. He has no customer service and treat customer like they are beneath him. The store manager name is David. He is unprofessional and unethical and so many ways. I will consider not coming to this store to do any non profit organization fundraiser. Even if you have authorization to be there from corporate. I will consider not going.

Kroger needs more personnel at Customer service desk, theres always a big line moving slow with people trying to pay bills and only one worker, in the first place i dont understand why people come and pay bills here, i mean why can they just send it through the mail or just pay online or through the phone, they just come waste time but it would be nice having more workers to keep the flow going faster
