If I could give zero stars I would. I recently had a severe pain in my side. I was trying to drive home but couldn t make it, so I pulled in to CareNow Urgent Care. I managed to walk in but felt like I was about to faint. I was obviously in extreme pain. The receptionist just stared at me. She said this isn t an emergency room, we can t help you here . I managed to get to a seat and tried to call my husband. The receptionist came over after about five minutes and asked if I wanted an ambulance. I asked if they were expensive and she just nodded. There was zero empathy or concern. My husband arrived about 5 minutes later to find me sitting by myself crying. It felt like I was about to give birth so I was making quite a bit of noise. We went to the ER and it turned out I had a kidney stone. I understand that the Urgent Care couldn t have given me a scan or the strong pain killers I needed but a sympathetic person would have been comforting. Or even some help getting to a seat or a glass of water! I would never go back there.

The care was excellent! They had had me to the doctor within minutes and the whole visit was so quick and efficient. They gave me an effective treatment that allowed me to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Also very responsive afterwards via phone. I highly recommend choosing this facility!!

Waited for two hours. The doctor was super pushy with things and dismissive with most of my questions. I ve never had a doctor not let me finish questions when I have concerns about being prescribed various things. Then when I was leaving, the nurse asked if I was doing the injection and the doctor was snarky and said, No, he doesn t want to follow directions. Would not recommend this place

Yeah this place are scumbags now, make you wait two hours, no x-ray machine, if you have anything bigger than a slight cold they send you to the free standing ER that is also within their network and they even have free passes to cut the line. Oh fun fact, I went back to that ER for a chest infection and they gave me a full CT scan and was planning to keep me over night? Until I literally objected asking what the he ll is going on, simply wanted tripped on my anti-inflammatory medicine. Such a joke.

Completely unprofessional. Swabbed for strep - negative. Swabbed for a different kind of strep and was prescribed penicillin in the meantime. I had to call them (not the other way around) to get my test result back which was again negative. I was told to discontinue my prescription and they won t even give me any feedback on what I should do now except come in again for testing. Why wasn t I tested for something else the first time? This is the most unhelpful doctor s office I ve been to. It doesn t seem like they know what they are doing at all.

Doesn t deserve one star. I went in for a drug test and blood draw. I am a contract employee and have to get one every 3 months. This was the longest I have ever waited. They were not busy. The man who was drawing blood, seemed lost. He did not have confidence in what he was doing. Was just confused through the entire process. When I was finally called back, they did not have the order correct for what I needed. He said I just have a blood draw. I asked what it was for? He said blood work . Okay. He then drew my blood after a long search for a vein. (He was very nervous) He then placed the vial in his pocket and said I ll be right back. Oh wait nevermind . yea I ll be back . He stepped out of the room. I m not sure if he placed the blood somewhere? Most places label the blood and have you initial. I was confused to what was going on. I was not able to ask him questions. He had no idea what was happening. I think this is the reason I waited 3 hours, for not even the correct thins. So now I have to find a competent place to do what I needed. Front desk person was also clueless. It seems like it was their first day. Less than first day actually!

Came down with a bad flu. Paid $190 for them to tell me all my tests are negative. They told me they sent in a prescription for a throat mouth wash to Walgreens. Walgreens never got the prescription from them. Now the urgent care is closed. Waste of money time and energy.

The doctor and nurse were so good! So friendly and helpful and quick. But, MY GOD, the receptionist is terrible. Her name is Imani. Wouldn t look at me in the eye. I d ask a question and she wouldn t answer or answer by asking me something else. Oof. How everyone else can be so friendly and great but the receptionist be so cold and distant is mind blowing. This is a great urgent care, just get past Imani as quickly as possible.

Went in for a visit and provided my insurance which was in-network. The person at the front charged me the full out-of-network price which I didnt realize until everythings done. That was OVER A YEAR ago. Ive spoken to their billing departments four times since and every time the rep said that they are working on the refund and it will be mailed out within the next month. Every time the rep would also be confused as to why its taken this long. Is this a way for yall to scam people? Just dragging the process out hoping people will just forget? Medical billing is a slow process but this is just an outright scam as my refund is not being worked on even after multiple people acknowledge that it shouldve been taken care of months ago. I will be seeking further steps to get this resolved legally.

I went in because I d been struggling to breathe for 24 hours. The nurse who took my vitals was extremely aggressive and rude which caused me to go into a vagal response and threw my vitals off. The doctor saw the vitals and said that I likely had severe anemia or sepsis, and that I needed to go to the ER. Never double checked my vitals. I went the the ER and my vitals were fine. This nurse should be fired for her poor bedside manner. Patients should be treated with care and decency. I do not have insurance and spent a lot of money I didn t need to because of how this was mishandled. I will never return to this urgent care again.

I am traveling in Texas from California for work and visiting some family in Austin over the weekend. I had an accident and fell and I looked up urgent care and thankfully,I ended up here. I have never been to an urgent care this nice, ever. I am talking about the facility. The people, the services the cleanliness and the quality of care, all of it. This is the nicest place I ve ever been to. Very lucky to have landed here and very appreciative. They took very good care of me after breaking my foot on Friday night. They re making sure it s gonna be easy for me to travel home and giving me a great referral for an orthopedic specialist in California. I highly recommend this facility to anybody having any kind of an urgent issue.

This place is the worst. They wasted my time and money without offering any help. After having a sinus infection for over a week, I decided to get some medicine and took off the morning sick from work. After going on the online waitlist at 6:45am, I was called in at 8:30. I then still sat and waited until 10am before going back to see the doctor, even though I had been on the list since 6:45. After waiting another 30 mins, the doctor then told me he was could not give me any medicine since it s only been a week, come back at 10 days . Austin is about to freeze over, so coming back will not be possible. So if I want medicine, I have to come back, waste more time waiting and spend more money on an appointment because I did not lie to my doctor about how long I was sick for

I came in from out of town with UTI pains. I got seen right away and check in process was quick and easy. The staff was so patient and amazing with me having to sit in the bathroom even with my husband having to go get the pain meds from the pharmacy and bring them here before I could leave. First I was welcomed by David at the front desk who was super friendly and helpful checking me in and he gave me great information for follow up at a urgent care in my hometown since I was not local to Texas.The PA who stitched me up was very comforting and ensure I was comfortable and informed the whole time.

I had trouble checking in online. I called the office. They said that it was okay just to come on in. The front reception was helpful in navigating the check in process. It was in the evening afterwork. The nurse that took my health history and vitals me let me know that they were busy this time Of the evening, But the wait was not too long. The Nurse practitioner was very friendly thorough. When It came about that my mother had died just recently. Something , that may or may not have been related to my condition The NP was so nice he took a few minutes let me talk about some of my feelings. Overall, it was a good mix of diagnostics, some medication and holistic suggestions for comfort. I left feeling like I was going to be in the mend and they office staff really cared for me. This place is not close to my house or even my work. So no matter the drive or traffic. Im will come back here the next time I need care.

Came here on 9/9, timely and caring service from the medical staff but be careful of the front desk staff. This company accepts Cigna yet I was overcharged $151!!! My out of pocket should have been $40 yet they charged me $191 as 20%. When I asked about the total, the lady said it was $1000. I was then told to callback 3 to 5 days for an itemized invoice. Only after calling the billing department was I informed of the overpayment. Would I have proactively received a refund had I not called? Estimated 30-45 days for a mailed check

I went because I ve been congested and coughing for 2 weeks and it has only gotten worse. I was there for 2 hours after saying multiple times I was in a hurry and had to be somewhere. There was nobody in front of me so I have no idea what the staff was doing. I was told multiple times that the wait to be seen, the wait for the doctor, and the wait my results would take only 5-10 minutes. I finally had to leave and they told me I could find out my results over the phone. When I called back the lady at the front said she couldn t give me the test results over the phone. I told her I was there for 2 hours and that I was told I would be given them over the phone and she was so rude and argued with me that I was not there for 2 hours (I have it timed stamped on life 360). She got someone else who told me both my tests were negative and they couldn t give me any prescription because my symptoms were not severe enough. So basically it was all for nothing and I will never be going back.

This Care facility is very dysfunctional. I called inquiring about a simple test which they assured me was no problem. When I arrived they tried to charge me double what they had quoted me that same day. Such a shame that supposed health care facilities are just trying to scam you for more money. No Hippocratic oath here, better take your business elsewhere.
