Went here for our anniversary and our experience was amazing! To start off, the hostesses greeted us with the sweetest smile and even congratulated us on our anniversary. We were then walked upstairs to the second floor and were again greeted by the restaurant manager who was very kind and welcoming and he also congratulated us. He was so attentive and just amazing overall. Our table was decorated with rose petals and a Happy Anniversary sign which was the sweetest touch! One waiter came with our drinks and he was a gem, whom, of course also congratulated us! Our waiter Colin, was absolutely amazing. He made us feel welcome! He always checked up on us, he described the items on the menu which such detail, he was just overall very kind! Colin brought us a dessert for our anniversary and it was such a great way to end the night. First time here and will definitely be coming back because the customer service and the food was simply out of this world! 10/10! Espresso Martini: 10/10 Lobster bisque is amazing!

We had our team dinner here and we were all a bit disappointed. Each one of us who got the filet mignon flight asked for medium rare and they all came out well done. The crab Mac and cheese was dry with no flavor. The only thing good was the bread and mashed potatoes. On top of this the staff seemed annoyed by our presence and we spent a little over $1000 for dinner. For the price and atmosphere we expected more. Definitely wont be returning

Amazing experience from the minute you pull up to the valet. The host staff was friendly and engaging. They took us up to a beautiful patio. Table fans and misters made eating outside delightful and very comfortable. The light up menus were fantastic. If you are visiting on the weekend, ask for Bradley. We let Bradley guide us through the menu. We started with a Terlan Pinot Grigio, N/A Berry Patch, and a Viola. Truly perfect picks! We started with the Ahi Tuna Tartare and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. Both were exceptional. I switched to Bradleys other suggested cocktail Tru Story. So yummy! After Bradleys highlighting of the menu we wanted to try it all so we chose to order the Petit Miso Glazed Seabass and the Petit Scallop & Shrimp Saute and the 1/2 lbs of King Crab and the side of Mac & Cheese. The Seabass was phenomenal. The Crab Fried Rice is sensational. The 2 paired together is off the hook. The scallops were amazing, and if you were served the Florentino cauliflower rice without being told it was cauliflower, you would never guess. It is so flavorful. The King Crab was great and served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. As we were sharing all the dishes, we only had room for one bite of Mac and cheese before packing it up to go, but were so glad we ordered it as it was excellent as well. The service was top-notch and friendly without being overbearing. The manager welcomed us and checked in throughout our meal, and although we had no issues, I am confident that if even the smallest glitch were to happen, he would be aware and address it immediately. He really made us feel like he cared about our experience. That is very rare these days. We are huge foodies, and eating great food is our hobby. With the attention to detail Truluck at every turn, the price paid for the meal was an exceptional value! I will definitely be back.

It s hard to beat Truluck s when you re looking for an old school upscale seafood restaurant vibe. Sure, they don t have a piano player up front anymore, but it s still just as classy, delicious, and service is always impeccable. My regular order here are always the crab cakes for an app, miso sea bass, husband gets the Alaskan king crabs, and carrot cake for dessert. Price.. it s going to cost you $$$$ esp for the 1lb of king crab. But it s always worth it! You even get a giant loaf of bread to mop up your tears if you re sad about the price!

Truluck s downtown used to be a high end restaurant with perfectly placed white tablecloths, dark ambience, and classical music playing. At the new location, you eat at a loud and cold wooden table with three groups right next to you while they play the most recent pop hit. If you close your eyes you would think you were at a chilis. Whoever designed the restaurant made this once 5 star restaurant for special occasions any ordinary restaurant. If I m paying $100+ a person I don t want to hear Stay by Justin Bieber while I eat at a cheap table from IKEA.

I ve had a lot of birthday dinners but trulucks definitely takes the cake on best birthday dinner I ve ever had! Between the signed card from staff and the baked Alaska I could have cried lol. The food was amazing and the staff was so pleasant. Our server Donald explained the menu items extensively and really helped us make our choices for dinner. The spicy blackberry margarita and stone crab claws was the highlight of the night, but the steaks were also so flavorful and cooked perfect! Thank you for making my birthday so special in such a beautiful restaurant! This is a dining experience I would recommend to anyone, and I will return every time I come back to Austin.

This was our first time at Truluck s; it was a great first experience. Our server (Niko) was new but he was great. He was attentive, engaging, and polite; his suggestion for how to construct our seafood tower appetizer was spot on. The appetizers satisfied my seafood craving, so I went with a NY strip for dinner; it was cooked perfectly . My wife had the Branzino fish (also recommended by our server), it too was good. The sides (truffle fries and roasted broccoli were nice compliments. This isn t a place you d frequent often (it s not cheap), but I can t think of a better place to satisfy a seafood craving. Parking: Valet service was convenient and affordable; highly suggest it based on location.

I ve been here multiple times and I have never gotten around to leaving a review. I always receive 5 star service. Went here for my dates birthday. It was his first time at this location and he loved it. The decor is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant has a very luxurious classy ambiance. The servers are very knowledgeable and trained well. The food is delicious. Every single dish I have gotten from Truluck s has been perfect. The carrot cake is so good you won t want to share. They only have valet and if you don t want to valet you have have a short walk from the garages. I highly recommend this location.

We love Trulucks, and visit frequently. This visit however was not up to par. My husband ordered the Surf and Turf, and instead of a New York Strip he got a Ribeye instead. I ordered the Surf and Turf Special, with asparagus and mashed potates, the latter two did not show up at all. The food was excellent as usual and the Baked Alaska was to die for! Dont get me wrong, we will definitly visit Trulucks again as it is one of our favorites in Austin, this visit was just a little off.

Loved the new location. Everything about the venue inside is sleek and elegant. Service was also very professional. For me the food was where things didnt quite come together. I honestly wasnt even planning to eat anything but upon noticing the plant based section in the menu I figured Id better try. I had the plant based meatball which appeared to be made from impossible meat which is fine, however the flavor of the meatball was overpowered by the addition of a lot of fresh minced garlic. It was the first and last flavor that you tasted. Imagine being on a date and spending the rest of the night with garlic breath and all this gross garlic just seeping out of your pores. That meatball does not cook long enough to begin to break down that amount of fresh garlic. I would rather they had used garlic powder and fresh herbs or other spices literally anything other than what they did. I would probably go back for drinks but would hesitate to order any more food. Vegetarian options: There are two plant based items in a dedicated section on the menu which was exciting at first but the execution was a miss for me. The amount of fresh garlic in that plant based meatball was utterly offensive. For that reason I could not recommend it. Also the other item contained the same meatball so I would not recommend that one either. I hope they correct this because it would be great to enjoy a fancy date night in a place like this and have something to eat that isnt salad and French fries.

Predatory waitstaff that gave non-service - as if their only job is to get you to spend as much money as possible and not about enriching your experience. Went for a birthday dinner and stayed for 3 hours and not because we planned to. Service was painfully slow and the complete lack of clear communication was appalling. I asked for the medium stone crab claw platter at $64 but was told they were out of the smaller portions but somehow still had the bigger portions (make that make sense). I told the waiter that I didn t want to spend $80 for the large portion and that I would take the prime king crab instead at $65. He then told me that it s not enough for the entree (which is odd because it s in a section on the menu for entrees) and that I should get the full size instead - I said sure. Turns out he meant 1lb of the market priced crab legs - nearly twice the cost of the $80 large stone crab platter at $130. But I had absolutely no idea until we got the bill. I couldn t even question him about it or ask about price, since he grabbed my menu and walked away and I didn t see him until our food was already brought out. I m aware that I m obviously in the wrong tax bracket to be dining at Truluck s but I didn t realize how predatory the upselling would be. We also sat and waited for 30 minutes after our dessert course for our check and no one came to check on us in that entire time. Someone from our table had to get up to bother our waiter who told us the bill had been closed out and we could go. But we wanted an itemized receipt so we waited even longer for this be to arranged. Not to mentioned the trash scattered around the bathroom and lack of toilet paper in one of the two stalls. If the standard for Truluck s is mediocre food at extortionate prices, predatory upselling practices, slow and ghostly service - it s a wonder how they ve been around for so long. Reply to GM response: I appreciate your response and your apology. This was a birthday reservation under the name Jacob on May 18th at 6pm. I agree that this would be an excellent teaching moment for your staff and I hope things will change in the future.

We recently went to this restaurant this past Saturday evening and as the stars suggest it could have been better. It was four of us and our total was about 550.00 (including tip). 500 IS ALOT for dinner but we wanted to experience excellence. We had to get our waiters attention multiple times and the bread, unfortunately is not free. The bread came out of 12.00 each, which in my opinion just greed. But im not here about the food. Of course the food was delicious, everything from our king crab legs to our steaks were just stupendous . The Ambiance was ok, as expected for a fine dining restaurant. The restrooms were a bit crowed nothing to rave about. I would not go back. For 550 for 4 people (2 adults, 1 teen and 1 child) we didnt get what we were expecting.

This place was warm and welcoming, very cute and dim for a relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent. Our table was birthday decorated and they offered a birthday desert. Our server, Matt, was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The food, I have mixed feelings about. The fish was very fresh and well cooked. We got the Chilean sea bass and almond crusted trout. The crab cake was absolutely delicious. So they have the fresh seafood bit down. Everything else was underwhelming. The mushroom risotto was kind of just salty mush, the mashed potatoes were stiff and the fried rice was good. It wasn t terribly expensive for what it was, so I was not disappointed at all. Let s start with the good The place is definitely high end and fancy looking Now for the bad We got the Prime Salmon and the Prime New York Strip, which neither come with a side so we also ordered a side of mashed potatoes with the salmon. Ive recently dropped my rating of Trulucks. It has been a favorite of ours for years, but since their move to the new location, we just havent been wowed like we used to. The past 3 times the food hasnt been up to its usual standard and I even feel like the service was somewhat lacking. Perhaps it is growing pains as they fill out the new space, but I miss the experience at the old location. The new location is definitely grander and larger, but its honestly a little bit noisy and Ive noticed a lot of children the past few times. Usually not conducive to fine dining.

Amazing birthday dinner on 3/7. They went above and beyond from the birthday greeting at host stand to card, to celebratory baked Alaskan. We ordered miso sea bass, Norwegian salmon, sautéed spinach, and the mushroom. The Bonfire Glow cocktail was superb! Our server, Tarkan, was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable! All around, beautiful, and memorable evening. Thank you!

Took my husband here for his birthday dinner. Our host for the night was Tarkan. He was absolutely wonderful and made some spot on suggestions. The caviar was DIVINE . We never had baked Alaska before and it was heavenly. The presentation, the food, the atmosphere were all great. The restaurant manager Robert made sure we were well taken care of. From entrance to exit, we had top notch service and treatment. Definitely enjoyed our dinner date and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Why just why?! 19th anniversary entrusted with Trulucks, and they messed it up big time. A manager came by before the meal leaving a card with the highest confidence of great food and service to come! The wife s food was way too spicy so she couldn t eat it. The manager that previously ensured great service dropped off a piece of fish on a plate, with nothing else no seasoning whatsoever no rice no side.. nothing. He also said nothing nothing at all! I called over the GM and she apologized for the spicy fish but then went on to only make excuses for the manager. Ugh! I just wanted a nice anniversary meal with my wife of 19 years!!

Wife and I were in town to celebrate our anniversary and we were very impressed, satisfied and happy with everything there. The staff was extremely friendly, polite and professional. Food and drinks were absolutely amazing. We had the crab cake, lobster sliders, Chilean Sea Bass and Redfish Pontchartrain. Weve been to many of the surrounding restaurants that are on the same level as Trulucks and I will say this is definitely my favorite of the 3. Highly recommend them and I hope they open a location in NYC. Ed was our waiter and was extremely helpful in helping us decide on our meals and drinks. Very knowledgeable, friendly and just an overall great person to have serving us. A great addition to the staff. Thank you for making our night memorable.

Truluck s gives the underwhelming façade of high quality seafood and service. You d do better to cook this food at home on your own and it would taste better. Very disappointing my server tried his best. They firstly sat us at the 6 top bar upstairs, thought it was nice at first but they sat us right where the servers have their POS system. It was very annoying hearing the servers continuously slam books as I tried to have a conversation with my date, the servers then began to speak and laugh very loudly and obnoxiously with no regard for the fact that customers were having dinner. Not a huge problem because I quickly asked for a different seating arrangement, I refused to compete with their vulgarity to hear my partner and for my partner to hear me speak. They moved us to a table and we finally began ordering. My date ordered a cocktail and the glass had a disgusting smell, she didn t end up finishing her drink or ordering another as she was put off. They brought me the wrong salad and took about 10 mins to bring out what I actually ordered, leaving me feeling rushed to complete it. The appetizers were honestly better than the entrees. The pan seared Chilean sea bass looked very sad and mediocre on my plate, beer battered fish would have looked better and tasted better and my fish was not seasoned in the slightest, I fought through my entree. My partner got the blue crab stuffed lobster tails and she said it was very underwhelming and dry. For dessert I ordered the crème brûlée which I was very excited for as my dinner was so disappointing and for the price point I wanted to enjoy SOMETHING here nope they burned the sugar on the crème brûlée so bad to the point where there was an overly bitter after taste left in my mouth hours after I left the restaurant. They did take that off of my bill though as I just didn t eat it after one bite. As someone who has worked in finer dining and has experience in the kitchen and in front of the house operations, I can honestly say this is a very mediocre restaurant, as someone who has experience with prideful chefs, a lot of the items that I was served would not have even left the kitchen, if they cared, the managers would have also been very apologetic. You ll do better spending your time and money elsewhere because at the very least you will probably enjoy your meal somewhere else. We ended up being in that restaurant for over 3 hours, solely because of service time no one wants to sit in a restaurant for more than 3 hours, just waiting on your mediocre meals. There are so many good restaurants in Austin and I truly WISH I went to one of those instead of Truluck s.

This place is so wonderful. We came here as a party of 3 adults 1 small child and 1 infant. We did not realize we needed reservations, the valet called in upon our arrival and got us a table in the lounge..we were totally okay with this. We were quickly greeted by Jasmine who was a complete angel throughout the whole experience. She was knowledgeable and attentive the entire time. We had drinks that stayed full and tasted great, our appetizer came out perfect and our entree was not rushed. Dessert was a chocolate cake KING sized and so tasty. Added a couple scoops of ice cream. We will most definitely be back in the future. Thank you Jasmine and the entire staff for making everything amazing tonight.

Upscale designed restaurant with clean modern interiors. Food is ok. I didnt have anything that seemed special or over the top from flavor or presentation standpoint. Main course was over cooked, they did replace with a second try still a little over cooked, at that price w would have expected a thicker cut of salmon instead of a little think cut like you get at most mid-range family dine in restaurants. Dessert was ok. Again, it was over cooked, Creme Brule shouldnt be completely stiff. Service was good, although there was a gentleman who appeared to be the manager who visited every table except mine. Never came to say anything about the over cooked salmon, the waiter came to tell me the chef agreed the salmon was overcooked, I dont need to know the chef agreed, I already knew it was overcooked. The chef or line cook just needed to correct the issue.

Disappointment. Yesterday I had dinner here with another couple. If you would have asked me my thoughts on Trulucks before my dinner I would have told you they were the standard, best service, best food, best atmosphere for a high end restaurant and one of the reasons I frequented here. How the mighty have fallen. You would have thought it was opening night. We sat at our table at 735pm, and did not get served water till 7:50pm. We Ordered a bottle of wine and it took the server 10 min to come to tell us they did not have it, we ordered a 2nd, that one took another 10 min to get to us. We did not get our first glass of win till 8:00pm. We finally were able to order food and ordered the famous crab claws, we did not get those for over 15 min, i.e. we did not get any food till 8:15 almost 45 min from sitting. Then we ordered our main dishes. As we waited we assumed they would bring over bread and butter as it is amazing. We were wrong, no bread came to the table. They brought our dishes, We got the seabass and the ahi tuna. The seabass was very good but the Ahi tuna was terrible, and could have gotten better quality at the local bar. We were just so fed up as it was past 9pm we just wanted to leave. Then out of nowhere someone drops tons of plates in the back, the whole restaurant heard it. No manager ever came to check on our table as well. I have to say there are many great restaurants in Austin, I am sad to see the one I used to believe was the best go down to the bottom of the list.

We had not been to the newest location on Colorado so we re anxious to try and what a fantastic experience. We didn t have a reservation so the hostesses were great and found us a table extremely quickly. The hospitality manager, Hector, made sure our drinks we ordered at the bar got delivered to our table. Our waitress, Nena, was amazing the entire evening between recommendations for drinks, appetizers, our dinner and desserts. She was so courteous and friendly. I forgot the name of the young gentleman that assisted in serving us but he made the incredible bread we were served and he was also very kind. We can t say enough about the absurdly delicious meal but the whole dining experience was one of the best we have had anywhere! Just an overall wonderful time we had. As we left and were walking through the parking lot adjacent to the restaurant, we could hear someone yelling behind us and I assumed it was someone that was inebriated but no, it was none other than Hector who chased us down to deliver the remainder of our dessert that we couldn t finish and had forgotten. Unbelievable service throughout the whole night. Highly recommend this extraordinary restaurant!

With so many amazing places to eat in Austin, we are so glad we decided on Trulucks. We just had one of the best dinners we have ever had. Matt was fantastic tonight, service was beyond perfect. The food was out of this world. Lobster everything!! The bisque was perfectly seasoned and they put the bisque over the lobster right in front of you! Filet was cooked perfectly. And the carrot cake was (no exaggeration) the BEST DESSERT I have ever tasted. We also loved the live DJ. He was playing late 90 s/early 2000 s hip hop which was super fun + made the whole experience feel a little more laid back (but still super elevated). LOVED EVERYTHING!!

We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation time and we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. We ordered cocktails, wine, an appetizer, salads, and all came out in a reasonable amount of time. We waited over ONE hour for our entrées and once they arrived, they were not hot. We walked out of the restaurant without even eating. My husband spoke with a manager and we were squared away on our bill. For many years, Trulucks has been a favorite special occasion location, however our recent visit left us deciding to not return. Despite being greeted for our occasion, and there being loads of tables, we were seated by the kitchen/bathroom hallway. This made it especially loud. Our food was extremely disappointing. My steak very overcooked but arriving with cold fries. Our servers response was to ask if I wanted new fries? The branzino portion was small and unappetizing. As was the lobster. Overall, the waiter seemed to ignore us, my husband having to find someone on two occasions. Overall, just a terribly disappointing experience. Definitely not the Trulucks of before.

A poem I m freezing in this black tie restaurant. There s $130 king crab meant to be sizzling, And it has become as icy as the ocean it was fished from. I dare not touch the cold steel of my fork. The roses in our centerpiece are wilting From the cold winds brushing over the tabletops and twisting around our ankles. Maybe that s why the flowers on display are as white as snow; They won t perish in the blizzard. Though we beg for a napkin to use as a blanket, The waiter jokes that perhaps there will be a blanket under the crystal Christmas tree. Though we can afford to charge ten dollars for half a cup of potatoes, We cannot afford to turn the heat up further than the brisk winds of the city at night. Four courses of waiting for the next warm dish, Begging like dogs to be given a scrap of food so our ribs won t be exposed to the cold. This place seemed like the type to take our coats, Thanks god they didn t. Without my coat, I may have been kept just cold enough to be stuck for a post-meal espresso The only thing that would allow me to stand up and leave this pristine, white igloo.

As long-time patrons of Trulucks downtown, our team has always enjoyed celebrating our milestones during their Happy Hour. Weve affectionately referred to it as our spot due to the many great memories weve shared there. Unfortunately, our latest visit was disappointing. Despite the availability of seating in the lounge, we were informed that our group couldnt be accommodated there for Happy Hour. Moreover, we were told that Happy Hour prices were not available in the dining room. This unexpected policy left us feeling unwelcome and dampened our celebratory mood, which was surprising given our history with the restaurant. A more flexible approach to seating for regular customers or clearer communication about Happy Hour policies might have prevented this unfortunate experience. We hope Trulucks will consider the impact of such policies on loyal customers. We look forward to potentially returning in the future, should these customer service issues be addressed. As an upscale restaurant, we had always expected a higher level of customer service, and its disheartening to feel this change in our experience.

We went to celebrate our engagement and the entire staff was absolutely wonderful. My now fiancé put in the description of the reservation what we were celebrating and also put a request for a nice table. My wife planned us a date night to Trulucks, and she picked an absolute winner!! Ill start with the ambiance. Streetside upscale restaurant with a very inviting host/hostess group. Well laid out to allow for conversation over the table without having to talk over neighboring guests. Simple yet elegant decor, which made it very relaxing, vice gaudy, and uppity. Service was attentive and informative. Enough staff to keep up with the guests and not appear deficient or overwhelming. Our server was a little hard to read on the personality side but quite accomodating. On to the food!! WOW! Ample menu with selections for every palette. We of course went for seafood selections and were not disappointed. The Rock Crab Claw appetizer was delicious and the presentation was perfect. My wife had the Blue Crab Stuffed Lobster Tail and I barely heard a peep from her while she ate. She complimented the preparation specifically around how they had lined the shell with spinach to keep the Crab and Lobster from sticking to the inside. The accompanying side for her meal got her blessing as well with her repeatedly trying to get me to taste the mashed potatoes. I elected to go with the New England Scallops. They were served on a bed of mushroom truffle risotto and I got a side of truffle fries, cause you can never have enough truffle in your life! They were hands down the best Scallops I have ever had!! Perfectly prepared and just melted in my mouth! If youre a Scallops person, you know they can be a little on the gummy side at most places, but these were just right. The risotto was delicious as well, and OMG the amount of fries they brought out for the side was insane! Could have easily been shared amongst a table of 4. If youre looking for a nice seafood date night, Trulucks is a top of the list recommendation from me......for what it is worth!

I have been comming to Truluck so many times both Houston and Austin locations. But last time on the Oct 17,2023 they told me happy hours is apply only for bottle under 100$. This is no true! After discussed with the waitress and manager they agreed to adjust the bill. However, I check the bank statement and realize they never did what they said. Came here for din after the F1 race, started with cocktails and some apps. Moments later the manager came and told everyone seated that the gas for the kitchen had gone out and hot food was no longer on the menu and you could only get cold items which was a few apps and desserts. The gas going out is of no issue though, so much as how they handled the situation. We were seated for 2hrs from start till close (mostly from before us knowing the gas went out) and instead of comping everyone their tabs, they charged us for everything and set us on our way. For a restaurant that is supposed to have such great service, allegedly, it was very disappointing to see how they addressed the situation. We ended up going somewhere else for dinner and ate around 10:30pm. Never again, as their customer service is abysmal.

Disappointed in our experience last week in the new location. Been coming to Trulucks for two decades and you always know you will get perfection but not last Saturday. Everything was off wife s filet was overcooked to well done had to be sent back, my lobster was cold, there was a film over the soup indicating it had been sitting for a while in the kitchen. Service was sporadic and not attentive. She forgot table bread and never refilled our water. For the price, all of this is completely unacceptable. It may be a while before we come back.

My wife and I enjoyed the food and service at the previous location on 4th st. We expected the same celebrating our 1yr wedding anniversary at the new 3rd st location but were very disappointed by the entrees and service. She ordered the branzino and it was not prepared well at all; we understand branzino preparation is more rustic and you receive practically the whole fish but it seems no bones were removed by the chef; just about every bite had a substantial bone....we couldnt even eat it. She informed the waiter who just responded saying its part of the branzino experience with it being served as the whole fish... and my wife has had branzino multiple times before. My trout was dry and underwhelming. I was halfway through my salad when the entree was served as well. Not trying to sound like a brat, but the timing should be better managed at such a fine restaurant. I looked at the waiter serving the entree and he responded with theres plenty room on the table for your entree...so you can eat that after your salad.....yea no kidding Im thinking. Drinks were delivered late; he didnt follow up with my wife concerning food allergies in a timely manner. He and the entrees were just overall disappointing. Id very much appreciate a response back from management. Restaurant was packed and noisy that evening to have a productive conversation in person.

All of the food we had was great. Had the Texas Redfish with mashed potatoes, everything was done well and flavorful. They even gave us dessert for our anniversary which was nice. The calamari was probably the best I ve had.

We have been going to Trulucks Downtown Austin for as long as it has been open and have considered it one of the few posh restaurants in town. It has always been quiet, service always attentive (water glasses filled, offering cucumber, lime, lemon, or orange slices in your water), white tablecloths on the tables. So, this was our first visit to their new location and we were anticipating a Wow response. Sadly, no. No more tablecloths, too loud and too pop music. Water glasses not filled. No offerings of slices in the water. Entrees came out way before salads were completed and salad plates cleared. For the most part, the food itself was up to par with Trulucks history, however, the broccoli was so over-spiced that none of the 4 of us enjoyed it and it had to be sent back. I always thought the bar area in their former location was one of the truly beautiful bars in town: horseshoe shaped, dim-lighting, bar tables off to the side. In their new location it is a standard straight bar with booths and standard height tables and the lighting was too bright. The highlight of the dinner was their new sommelier, Hector! Wow. A true gentleman who hails from San Sebastian, Spain with a lifetime of experience serving wine and it shows. Sorry, nothing against young, smart American sommes, but theres something about gravitas and maturity and experience that is priceless. Good job on that Trulucks, but please retool and bring back the posh and the crisp attentive service!

What a lovely place for some excellent seafood. It had been a while since I visited Trulucks and I hadnt tried this spot so I decided to check it out. No complaints! Everything was nicely done, from the service to the drinks. The apps were all spot on, the lobster bisque was deep/spicy and the ribeye was amazing. Everything on the menu is worth a try and will not disappoint. There wasnt room for dessert on this visit but perhaps next time. Highly recommended for a date night or just a special meal.

Beautiful restaurant, attentive staff, and the filet flight was amazing. The blue cheese and bacon filet was phenomenal! Definitely recommend!
