Heard them tell the customer before me that their order would take 30 minutes. My order was different so i specificly asked how long it would take. They said 15 minutes. It took 3p minutes. I ordered the over combo with chicken, they gave me beef. Assumed it would be hot. It was luke warm to cold. Wasnt good. Clearly wont be going back.

This food truck came highly recommended and it lived up to the hype. I tried the spaghetti and it was excellent. Make sure you can handle spice because it will sneak up on you. If you love spice you ll be a fan. My friend tried one of the other dishes and he was a big fan too.

I don t have any photos for this review but honestly there are no need for any. I stopped by on my way back to our hotel room (not intoxicated at all) and boy am I beyond pleased. I went with a couple of fatayas just for a snack and the ginger/hibiscus tea. Wife and I both loved them so much I literally went back out for more. Only this time I added the yuka fries (forgetting their name). Long story short, don t think hard about this. Just order and enjoy. Only downfall for me now is that I m back home without being able to eat this again until I go back to Austin.

I had a great experience here. The owner was very welcoming and offered suggestions to me as a complete newcomer to Guinean cooking. I was most pleased with the tuna Fataya. I tried a mix of hibiscus and ginger for the drink, which was refreshing and unique. I look forward to coming back and seeing what else Conakry Guinea has to offer! Even if the food were lackluster, I would still come just to enjoy good company.

Wow! Just, wow! I got the fataya (beef, chicken and tuna) and it was extremely delicious!! Was especially surprised because I usually hate tuna but the owner convinced me to get it and Im so glad I listened! I also got the hibiscus juice and it was amazing! Im so glad I stumbled across this hidden gem! I ordered the guerto and a bisapmilk. Out comes this enormous sandwich with seasoned chicken, a little jalapeño, and some other interesting spices. The Fataya dough was light and flakey and A.B. prepared us a sample plate that had two of each incredible fillings. The Bantu Tewu meatballs were delightfully savory in a mild yet tasty broth with an incredibly unique spicy lime elixir to enhance the flavors. Our meal came with a fresh pressed ginger fruit juice that was sublime. Of all the choices at this location and the food that I shared with friends from the other vendors, I was very pleased with my choice and strongly recommend giving Tchiadai, even just to get acquainted with A.B., your consideration. It was good, but not worth the steep price tag. Woman was very friendly and the food was awesome. First time trying West African food; she was very kind to help us decide. We ended up getting the Fataya which is similar to an empanada. Because we were indecisive on the filling, she gave us a variety to try so that we could know for next time (fish, beef, and chicken filling). Ive got to say Im very picky when it comes to eating meat, Im just more into vegetables or meat alternatives-- however this was really really good. My favorite was the beef, but honestly the fish was the runner up. While we waited she gave us a sample of her juice, and the ginger was sweet, yet had a perfect amount of spice. Bantu is an aromatic soup because of the ginger but not at all over powering very balanced. Fataya is similar to an empanada, I tried fish, chicken and beef. AB and Fatima serve up some of the best friend plantain Ive had in austin. The fataya was delicious and the sauces compliment that flavour really well. They recommended I mix the hibiscus juice with the ginger juice and the was pretty great too. Spectacular food, especially on a cold and rainy day. The man working was very kind and let me sample both of their juices (hibiscus and ginger). I ordered the fataya filled with beef. The fried outside was crispy and light, and the filling was herby and peppery. Best part was the dipping sauce, with tons of onion and spicy oil. Will be coming back!
