While not spicy, the flavor is robust enough to accommodate added tomatoes and crackers. I decided to stop by on a random Wednesday evening for a quick dinner, and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I ve made in a while. Billy where you in m life!! The burger was nothing short of amazing juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. And those fried pickles? Crispy, tangy, and downright addictive. But it s not just the food that won me over; it s the whole experience. The place has a laid-back, neighborhood vibe that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The crowd is a great mix of people, all just enjoying a good time. They ve got a ton of craft beers on tap, so there s something for everyone, no matter what your taste buds are craving. And as if that wasn t enough, I stumbled upon trivia night. It added a whole new layer of fun to the evening unexpected but totally welcomed. I m already looking forward to my next visit, and if you haven t been yet, you re seriously missing out.

Terrific food and large portions. The tea tasted a bit off, which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars on the food. I had a delicious BLT, and my wife had a Buffalo veggie burger. The bartender, which took our order, was friendly and helpful, and the food came out pretty quickly.

Very laid back vibes, tasty array of burger options, fried food apps, chili, and tap beer with some daily specials. Outdoor patio is handy and pleasant if not especially scenic. The sports or karaoke bar feeling is sometimes more pervasive than other times. Its a good watering hole & eatery -- depending on what you seek. Sometimes my mom plays pool there. There are long timers & regulars among the staff and costumers. Friendly, yummy place. Recommend!! Vegetarian options: The veg. chili is pretty great!

Wow glad the reviews werent wrong. Real good burgers and good fries too though next time, and there definitely will be a next time, Ill ask for the fries to be cooked longer though it was more my fault because I ordered take out and the food was ready well before the time online was given by like 17 minutes but they called me to let me know. So pretty much the steam got to em but still great tasting. Id leave pictures but I kinda ate it all haha. Thank yall.

Never got our food, and apparently they put someone elses (perhaps a regular?) Charges on my ticket. Showed up around 6:40. Only three tables occupied outside, maybe four inside. Got a beer and menus. Went back on and placed food order. My daughter and I looked at animal videos and planned Halloween costumes and watched people around us who had arrived aftwr we did get their food. I went in for another beer and the woman at the bar asked how our burgers were. I said we hadnt gotten them. She said oh. I asked to close my tab. It was $52 and some change. For two burgers and two beers and a tea. Shoulda rang warning bells. 15-20 minutes pass, no burgers. Go back to check. A man told me we were in the line. I said yeah, but everyone who came after us has their food. He shrugged. I went back out. More people show up, get food. I go back in after another 15-20, say I guess I just need to cancel my order, we have been there over and hour and a half at this point. Dude goes to the back, comes put and says something, i just repeat that we had been there so long, everyone around us had come, ordered and eaten. He asked what the name on the tab was, pulled it up. There were two beers but also cheese curds and a Mexican coke, which I did not order. I told him I had already closed my tab and those werent my charges, my tab should have been $43.69 plus tax. Clearly someone elses items were put on my fleffing tab. He grudgingly refunded me $33 bucks, but my beers and tea only came to $12 plus tax. I not only never got food, was treated rudely, but O got cheated and charged for someone elses items. Bye bye Billys. Reese would be disappointed.

This hole in the wall bar has some of the best food in austin! God-level veggie burger, so good my non-vegetarian fiancé orders the veggie every time too. Stopped by here for lunch today and got the uptown burger! It was absolutely delicious and one of the top 3 best burgs I ve had around Austin. A pleasant atmosphere to relax and read or write or talk. Prices make sense. Their hood was broken so I didnt try their burger. Instead I tried their Frito pie, which was hearty and seasoned correctly. Their house salad is the right size and flavor for the calorie counters. I mainly rate this place five stars because if I lived within a five minute walk of here Id treat this place like a second home. Its so ... comfortable.

Ive only had beer and burgers and wings. This place its a bit outside of my budget, but I have visited with someone who payed. Ive often needed to sit outside and use the many outlets they provide and Ive only been yelled at once. Today Im inside December 24th because life happened and Ive no where else to go to be warm and left alone. Im dressed nice, but to myself, I dont like doing this, but if they dont complain about me not buying anything just this once Ill be happy. Im always loyal to my local places, Ill clean trash they missed, turn off the heaters, throw the trash that was forgotten. Thats my thanks for me using a little power from time to time.

Ordered a double cheeseburger with a fried egg for takeout and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I was just trying to satisfy my craving for a traditional juicy burger and I got way more than I hoped for :) xoxo

Beer + one of the very best veggie menus in town! Whats NOT to love?! You must stop in on a Saturday evening when the incredibly friendly bartenders create an atmosphere as warm as the fare on offer.

Billys is always a pleasure to go to and locally owned. Very easygoing and relaxing atmosphere, great food and they have a nice selection of local beer and ales. Oh, plus they are dog friendly on the deck :)
