The past five times we ve ordered takeout, our food has been extremely cold by the time we pick it up. The pizza itself is really good, but it s disappointing that it s consistently cold when we get it. Every time we come in, there are at least six pizzas waiting for pickup because the website says the order will take 30 to 45 minutes. However, the pizza is usually ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I love how fast they are, but the estimated times don t match the actual preparation time. When customers think it ll take 45 minutes, they ll wait that long to pick it up, not realizing the pizza has been sitting out for 20+ minutes. I really enjoy the pizza here, but the last few experiences have been frustrating.

Great place to take kids and hang out with other adults. The playground keeps kids entertained while adults have their choice from an extensive draft list and good food choices. One of my favorites in North Austin. Kid-friendliness: One of the few locations in Austin with a nice playground and extensive craft beer selection.

The pizza is good, pretty heavy flavors. Hard to describe the style, not thin nor thick. I like the space, though a little bare. Hope they keep better hoppy beers around. Theyve got an eclectic selection, just too many weird beers that few people probably want. As long as they keep Heavenly Daze on, Im good. Update: Beer wall is really growing and theyve got a lot of good options for just about any personal taste. Looks like 49 beers on tap currently. Update2: They need to sort out their line situation. People just skip it and the staff doesnt care. And if you have an open tab, dont use the quick lane because they wont ever call on you. Ill never come back in the evening, ugh. Update3: I love and hate this place. Pizza sauce is still less than great but they have other good options (Flying Garlic). The service is just generally terrible. The staff turnover is extreme, often completely new people and they just dont seem to care. I keep coming because I live close enough to walk over and the beer selection is usually great (though still bizarre) but they need to sort out their wall. Hard to read, taps switched around, just a mess all around and when it doesnt go well, again, they dont care. Update4: Beer prices have gotten absolutely insane here. Expect to pay $9 for a pint, yikes! My other gripe continues to be their silly two lines situation. Most people do not pay attention to signage and line up in the open tabs line (which incredibly dumb already). Staff doesnt correct anyone so plan to be skipped in line. That said, the staff is way better than it was for a while and its nice to see familiar faces.

I normally only order their pizza, which I really enjoy. Tonight I ordered a BLT grinder, which is supposed to have bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mozzarella. What I received is basically just a big wad of bacon and mozzarella. I really really like bacon, but there s so much on this, it s so salty, and it was obviously grilled with the cheese, so you can t even really just scrape it off. I can t even eat it. For $15 expected something decent.

The only complaint I have is that the inside area is really loud. The music is loud, which in turn, makes the customers try to speak over the music just adding to the noise. The pizzas are great. One of my favorites is El Nacho.

This is our second time here. Both times the pizza tasted great, salad was great, beer selection, service and atmosphere was great....But the second time we were given the LARGEST CRUST OF ALL TIME. This was an 18, their largest size if Im not mistaken, and Im just kind of left feeling like we got the short end of the stick here. The crust went from the tip of my finger, down to 3/4 the way of my entire index finger. I gave 5 stars on food, service and atmosphere, but good lord so much crust

Had a quick happy hour here with some coworkers. The peanut butter stout beer and four cheese pepperoni pizza hit the spot! The vibe was fun while we were there and the service was prompt. We were able to try samples of the beer before we decided. There are a lot of choices to select from. The bathrooms were also nicely kept at the restaurant. I appreciate the foot piece to open the bathroom door for a contactless experience.

It had been several months since we ate at Aviators. my husband and adult son and I ordered the margarita pizza. The crust was outstanding and tasted better than any pizza weve had there before. Apparently one of the workers said they have changed the dough recipe slightly and the cooking temperature. We will definitely go back and order pizza. It is wonderful!! Great pizza with super cheesy pull. Really indulgent and thick with toppings. It s slightly expensive but you get your moneys worth! Everything was delicious, beer ciders and mead on tap. I always get the blueberry mead and it s delish. Super sweet and goes well with pizza. Atmosphere is really nice, family and big group friendly although it does get packed after work. I dont know what to say other than its ok. Our pizza crust had no crunch or nicely developed flavors, but outside the poor crust it was otherwise a flavorful pizza. Probably not worth the money but youre paying for the atmosphere. The side salad is embarrassing for the price. We like this place to bring our kid to play, but without the kid we wouldnt go here. There are better options for the price that also have good beer selections. That being said, the beer selection at aviation is well above average. Id say 3.5 stars but rounding down because food quality should be the main focus of a restaurant.

Great place! Its my first time eating here. My husband comes all the time for lunch if hes working in the area. And he loves it. Hes actually had all the different choices of pizza except for just a couple. Delicious pizza, and the crust is excellent. Lots of yummy selections. They also have a large selection of beers. We were really looking forward to eating here, but left underwhelmed. The pizza we ordered was ultimately the downfall of this rating. We ordered the South Boston, but what we didn t like is the amount of arugula and housemaid balsamic vinegar. We didn t expect there to be so much arugula and we thought the balsamic would be lightly applied. However, it was soaked with the vinegar. We had to scrape as much of the arugula off as we could , but unfortunately a lot of the vinegar soaked in the pizza. Overall, the location is great and there is plenty of room inside and outside. An excellent place to take kids. You can let them run around while you eat your food. They have a great selection of beers including local options. The service and atmosphere is good and it s a great place to hang out. The restaurant was clean and neat and I thought the layout was really nice. We may try to go back again with a group of friends and try another pizza.

The pizza here is to die for as well as their calzones. You can use your smartphone to order from the table and keep your tab open. I swear I would order a beer and they had it to me before I put my phone down. Super friendly and super professional staff. They keep bringing me back effortlessly. Sorry clean mens bathroom too! We just moved around the corner from here and so have tried to give it a chance multiple times- nice atmosphere, big draft beer selection, playground for the kids- but the pizza is just not good. The toppings are fine (but don t get the south austin - sweet gross vinaigrette) and the crust actually has a decent texture, but it is so weirdly flavorless. Like truly cardboard. I don t know how they managed to make such a flavorless crust. I d rather eat a frozen cauliflower crust pizza

My absolute favorite place for pizza (in Austin) since the acid reflux monster has come to get me. They have a lot of different pie offerings with different bases. Theyre all delicious (shout out to the Flying Garlic and their ranch is amazing). They have QR codes at the tables to make opening and closing your order easy. Very family friendly and even has a little playscape in their outdoor area. They have adult themed trivia on Wednesday nights so beware if youre bringing the littles. Vegetarian options: customizable pies with lots of topping offerings. they even have vegan cheese! Dietary restrictions: they offer gluten free crust and vegan cheese for alternative diets.

I enjoy going here because its very kid friendly and they always have a good time. The pizza is solid; Enjoyable but not astounding. The salads are really good. Service is spotty. Its not bad, its just minimal. Like theyll bring the food to you but thats it. Manager was super nice. Will continue to come.

I like the outdoor playground for my daughter, it was my first time trying the pizza on Monday buy unfortunately the pizza is very bland no flavor and kinda pricey for what you get. I waited over 5 mins no one in front of me. To order. I told the guy it was my first time here and he was rude and not wanting to recommend anything. I most like wont be back. And cook the pizza alittle longer our was doughy

I have to say this is some of the blandest pizza I ve ever eaten, it s comparable to little Caesers which I think is ridiculous for what you re paying here. The cheese = bland, the sauce = bland, even the toppings are unseasoned. The people of this city must have terrible tastebuds if they rate pizza of this quality so highly.

They have a playground for kids to play at. Albeit small one but it s something. Good open space for them to run around outside. Food came quick. Came here for early dinner with the kid. Pizza wasn t very good at all. Cheese was rubbery and crust was kinda like cardboard. But good enough for a kid with somewhere to play and get pizza real quick. Sure it s more of an emphasis on the beer than pizza though.

Im a favor driver, and the server/host (Rayanna I believe) who answered my call, might have been the nicest and most helpful person Ive had the pleasure to talk to while doing deliveries. Im coming back to eat here just because of her service. Not sure if you can, but if youre allowed ask for her!!!

To the guy who was walking out earlier tonight at 10:51pm complaining to me that the servers arent taking orders: 1. Ye be lacking some braincells, kid. 2. Didnt ask. You walked into a pizza place 10 minutes before closing and expected them to make you an order, and then complained at a stranger who was walking in to justify being angry instead of blaming yourself for being late. I expect your retort in Google review format within the next 7 business days, otherwise I will take your lack of response as forfeit. Also the food and service was fantastic. Staff was very nice and friendly, and made some recommendations for drinks that were on tap. Ended up filling a crowler with some Perry. Thanks yall!

opened a tab for several beers and got a $75 charge on my card. called them when I got the notification from my bank and was told the charge could take 2 to 3 days to be refunded. SOP for them. OK pizza but dont open a tab!!!

Wow. And not a good one. This place is so loud you cant hear the person next to you. Bartenders refused to serve anyone who didnt have an open tab, and seem to have some arbitrary very unclear line policy. Apparently, I waited in the wrong side, of the bar, (there was literally one register open and one person in front of me when I got in line.) After I had been waiting several minutes, a line started to form on the other side of the bar, a second bartended showed up, and completely ignored me. When it was finally my turn, the bartender redirected me to the end of the line. There is no sign, no indications of where to line up, and theyre rude if you dont magically know. Dont waste your time, unless you enjoy being places where youll be disrespected and cant even hear your friends.
