Lenore and her team provided outstanding representation. I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle which resulted in a hospital stay and several months of physical therapy. Not only did Lenore get money from the insurance of the driver who hit me, she was able to get additional money from my under insured motorist policy. And on top of that she negotiated significant discounts from the medical providers I had to go to. If you re involved in an accident, call Lenore before you do anything, because the automotive insurance providers will try to low ball you, and the medical providers will inflate their costs, she knows how to combat both those! Very happy with my decision to contact her.

Lenore Shefman is a champion. I wasnt sure I could get any result after my injury that could come close to making me whole. She slogged through years of delays and a mess of uncertainty to a victory that exceeded all of our expectations. It was a bumpy ride. There were times when I was uncomfortable, to say the least, but I wouldnt trade one ounce of Lenores fire and tenacity for comfort. She knows what shes doing. She works her tail off, and not only does she not back down from a fight, she leaps with both feet to meet it head on. Besides being an absolute force of nature, Lenore is a dynamic and artistic soul with a deep appreciation for people and their stories. She herself has many tales to tell from her richly colorful, well traveled life. She is terrifying and terrific, badass beyond belief, and as formidable a counsel as you could hope to have at your table.

Lenore Shefman is a terrible lawyer. She s a thug, she s a bully, she s lazy, she s unprofessional with questionable ethics. She should be disbarred. I hired Shefman to represent me in a civil matter, where I was a defendant. Shefman completely refused to do what I hired her to do, either out laziness or arrogance, or perhaps both. She refused to listen to how I wanted to proceed with my case. She instead ordered me to stand down . She had zero conversations with opposing counsel, when they reached out to her numerous times. When I complained about her lack of service, she copped an even bigger attitude, and threatened to withdraw. I told her that I would not approve the withdraw. She was already on full retainer and had done absolutely no work yet. Shefman became enraged. She mocked my case and stated that I should have been sued. She warned me to watch what I said to her, as it wouldn t be protected attorney-client privilege. She also threatened me with legal action if I ever left a negative review about her. She then went behind my back and secretly retrieved her Letter to Represent from the court, who hadn t filed it yet, thereby withdrawing without my consent or even knowledge, while still on full retainer. She said nothing about this move to either myself or opposing counsel. Opposing counsel eventually sent correspondence directly to me, asking if I was represented. This was how I found out that Shefman secretly withdrew without anyone knowing. Only after I lodged a complaint with the Texas State Bar did I receive any portion of my retainer back. When she eventually sent a partial refund, she mailed it to the wrong address. The mistakes this woman made as an attorney on my case were unbelievable. Major attitude problem.

Could not of chosen a better Atty and Staff to help me thru a very difficult time after having been hit on my Motorcycle Jan 26,2020. Insurance company forced my hand by talking down on my claim & trying to intimidate me...having suffered multiple broken bones, spinal injury and major concussion...not to mention loss of wages(out of work over 2 months), motorcycle totaled and numerous medical bills. However thru it All (16-1/2 months) Lenore, Noe, Ceaser and Staff never gave up fighting for my rights. In the end We all prevailed. I highly recommend them for any an all Legal representation for Personal Injury ! Dont be bullied by the Insurance Companies call Cyclist Law !!

Lenore & her staff were very keenly aware of the specific laws and practices in this tricky industry, and were able to best navigate the insurance firms legal twists and turns to get to the optimum settlement - without having to go to court. While having to retain a personal injury lawyer to settle such a claim with the opposing insurance company is never pleasant, the Shefman Law Groups staff was able to take it on their shoulder in a very professional manner.

I would like to thank Lenore Shefman and her team for taking care of me and getting my case squared away! Without her, an accident that happened on thanksgiving day a couple years ago (that was not my fault) would have deemed me at fault. After my accident happened I was unable to obtain a police report I so desperately needed to move forward with the claim. After speaking with a a couple lawyers, I was told that they can not obtain it. So I was suggested to speak with Lenore, and immediately she acquired the report. She then began my case and made every step of the way as easy as can be. I am so glad I chose her to help me with this case.

Lenore and her team are simply the best. I was referred to Lenore through mutual friends, and although my wreck wasnt in her regular wheelhouse, she took on my case. From our very first meeting, while I was still reeling, in pain, on meds, and simply really lost about how I was going to get my life back on track, Lenore made me feel like I had an expert in my corner, and that it was ok that I did not know how to navigate this process, because she and her team were experts. Throughout the course of my case, I felt that I was being strongly advocated for. Each step of the way there was clear communication, and I never felt that any of my questions or concerns were taken lightly. When the lawyer for the other insurance company showed up without an adjuster, I got to see the tough side of Lenore, she made it quite clear that they had messed up, wasted our time, and would not get away with treating my case as any less important that theirs. She commanded the situation, and the other lawyer admitted his fault and begged for her forgiveness. She is a badass. There were a few staff changes over the course of the time it took to settle my case, which made me a bit nervous as I was not always sure who to reach out to, if they would be aware of my case, or simply if I would like working with them. My concerns were never justified. Lenore is excellent at building a team, and attracting really great people. Each person in her office was wonderful. Very accommodating, up to speed on what was going on, and a pleasure to work with. Daniel was really a great lawyer as well. In the end, my settlement was fair, and I felt good about the outcome. Cyclist Law negotiated my medical bills, and they also took a fair percentage, leaving me with more than I expected when it was all said and done. I would highly recommend Cyclist Law to anyone, and I also recommend calling as soon as possible, as they will jump in and help you navigate every step of the way before you make any mistakes or take on things you are not ready to face after being in a wreck.

Words cant express my gratitude to Lenore Shefman and her team at Cyclist Law. I was hit at 40 mph in a crosswalk on my bicycle, and Lenore was recommended to me by a friend in the cyclist community. She came to my house when I was badly injured and represented me for two years, and I am nothing short of blown away. Call them, it is the best decision you could ever make. My husband was a bike commuter, until he was hit by an unlicensed, uninsured, very poor driver during morning rush hour a little over a year ago. A friend of ours referred us to Cyclist Law not long after we realized the debt from medical care and his chronic pain were insurmountable without legal aide. Lenore and her team hit the ground running on our case, and over the course of a year and four months, they were able to secure us a settlement that we never thought was possible. I cant say enough wonderful things about Lenore and her whole team. I was attacked by a dog while I was 6 months pregnant and it was one of the scariest, most stressful experiences of my life. Not only did the Cyclist Law team help me and my pregnancy brain navigate through the confusing legal battle, but they were also there for me with endless amounts of emotional support. When I had to testify in court 3 days after my beautiful daughter was born, I cried on Lenores shoulder and she gave me the strength to do what needed to be done. In the end, justice was served. was compensated for not only my medical bills and lost wages, but for the incredible amount of pain and suffering that I endured, both physically and emotionally. Lenore Shefman was my savior after I was hit and run on my bicycle. The cops at the scene told me that even with three independent witnesses, I shouldnt expect the courts to hold the driver accountable, because hit and runs are so hard to prosecute. That is unless Lenores on your side. I found Cyclist Law on a cycling advocacy website, and Im so glad I did. She took the time to explain all of the complicated details of the criminal case and give me advice, even though that was the responsibility of the district attorney, and when it came time for the civil case, her relentless efforts with the drivers insurance company ended with a maximum policy settlement. Shes tough, knowledgeable, and doesnt back down from a fight. Shell be my first call if anything terrible like that ever happens again. Two huge thumbs up!

Just wanted to publicly brag on the fact that my lawyer and her team are complete badasses, I went to see her months ago with a broken neck, broken ribs and a severed spirit. I had about $50,000 dollars in medical bills, I had no plan and no way out and had no idea what my insurance could offer and I was getting pressured by them to sign off on my expenses right away. I had no money to fund any type of physical therapy or treatment, and the insurance from the motorcycle coverage only covered about half of my expenses. I was ready to consider bankruptcy and completely deal with the fact that I was going to have to live with the physical pain of my accident without any further treatment. I was highly skeptical of lawyers and insurance companies and just wanted to hide and not deal with any of it, I had already had personal debt and wasnt at all in a place where I could try to pay off more debt.When I met with Lenore she was not only straight forward, personable but she came across almost maternal and protective of me and my injuries that she won my complete trust from the start. She wasnt after money and she didnt treat me like a dollar sign. She helped me get out of my slump by helping believe there was hope to get out of hole- financially, physically, and mentally. I came to her not expecting much help if any and she quickly allowed me to belief that there was plenty of help for my injuries.Her and her team completely exceeded my expectations from what was shaping out to be the worst year ever has quickly turned around. After months of not receiving any treatment I was able to start physical therapy, chiropractic work, and start getting massages to help with the excruciating pain I witnessed in my back and neck. When things looked dire with my case Lenore, Alexandra and the team at Shefman Law were able to find ways to cover my ongoing expenses and fight for me when the insurance refused to cover on-going medical help. I am a victim of a red light runner. As I was dealing with the ordeal of physical therapy I found myself being forced to settle my claim OR go without any reimbursement. I ve never had a slip and fall. It s a little surreal when one second you re walking with both feet on the ground and in the next millisecond you slip on something, and realize both feet are off the ground and you are going to land hard. The day after the incident, not sure if I had a case, I called Shefman Law Group for advice. During the multiple phone calls and emails over the next month, Lenore Shefman and her staff were always prompt, responsiveness and gave sound, practical counsel that I was able to implement on my own. We decided it was best to not take legal action, and I felt confident with the advice Lenore provided and that I could handle the resolution of getting reimbursed for medical bills. I knew Lenore was only a phone call away and she would work hard for me, if I changed my mind. Much to my dismay, I learned that when a scooter and a truck collide, the scooter and rider will take the lions share of the damage. Who knew? As I sat at home with no more scooter and a couple broken bones, I decided to give Lenore Shefman a call, as it appeared from the website that her group specialized in this sort of case. This was probably the best decision I could have made. I was totally clueless as to how one should proceed following in incident like this, but Lenore and her team held my hand at every step and made the whole process, kept me well-informed, and ultimately helped my situation resolve in the best way possible. Ill be keeping their number in my phone despite the fact my case has ended. If I end up on the wrong side of a wreck again (is there a right side?), Ill be sure to call the Shefman Law Group again.
