My go to trail but sometimes very poorly maintained. Expect to dodge fallen trees and wasps nests that are generally fixed once or twice a year.

Awesome park with restrooms! Huge field with goals, Basketball court, playground with some cool features that not a lot of other parks have like rock climbing, piano and drums, and accessible access. There are plenty of picnic tables. It also has trails that you can walk.

The park is fantastic if you have kids. The play scape for little kids is very nice. For the older kids, there are soccer, baseball and basketball practice areas. Theres a nice paved and marked trail too. The picnic area is shaded with water and restrooms very close. It can be reserved for parties and such. Nice little neighborhood park.

This Park is very nice and clean. Small but its a good and sometimes busy distination for a walk in the trailhead that goes inside a small forest for few miles, and for families too with all the playground spaces for kids of all ages..a small field for soccer or football and a covered area with tables and chairs for some celebrations too...(we saw a lot of people there last week for a BD party I guess...it was very nice and colorful and very clean too). The only issue there is the bathroom is not functional (or just always closed!!) And the parking area is very small just for a dozen cars..and the weekends are very busy there, so the only choice is the on-street parking...or park far away. Otherwise this is a highly recommended place.

Just did the canyon trail with the pup. It ended up being about 5.1 miles in total. There are a few trails here that intersect, but it is very well marked once you get on the trail. The beginning itself is hidden past the playground. Excellent hiking trail. I wouldnt recommend for trail running due to the rocky height transition in a few areas. Be forewarned, there are multiple creel crossings that may get your feet wet.

A social group Im part of just had a hike here today and it was my 1st time. We walked 3.5 miles and it was an amazing experience. There are lots of water features and some parts of the trail can be a little bit challenging so wear your good shoes. Also bring some water with you and pack light because there are some uphills. You forget youre in the city when youre on this trail which is such a nice Zen experience. You love taking pictures in nature youre gonna find some spectacular photo opportunities. I had so much fun today I will definitely be back.

Ive lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and enjoyed the walk down the trail every year. I only give 3 stars because it smells like sewage during the summer and the wood bridges are rotted and dangerous now. Finally there is one rocky descent just where the actual trail starts that is hazardous for small children or elderly. If you get past that, you have a choice - a lower trail that runs next to the creek very pleasant when there is water, and an upper trail that is a bit more technical but more fun. A very beautiful walk, and a completely different experience at different times of day. If you go to the fence of the wildlife preserve and back its a bit less than three miles round trip.

During the summer its really nice, the sun isnt beating down on you. There are other little things to play on not under the canopy. Bring a ball and you can play on the field or basketball court. There are swings but they are closer to the parking lot. If you havent been here, make a plan to visit.
