We got FOOD POISONING here STAY AWAY!!! We came here this past Wednesday around 8pm, and the shrimp tasted off so we let the manager know and he just brought us more sauce to solve the issue. The next morning my wife and I woke up vomiting along with other symptoms of food poisoning. When I started feeling better on Friday I called them and spoke with the owner to let her know about this issue. She was extremely rude and said didn t care and didn t even apologise, and stated that this happens ALL THE TIME! That is crazy stay away from unless you want to get sick.

Oysters looked good but no taste and not shucked and $25/dozen. Way overpriced to not even finish shucking the oyster. Furthermore, no real silverware, so we had to dig out the oyster with a plastic fork (difficult for my father who is handicapped). Music was blaring terrible pop music, had to speak loud to have a conversation. Typical fried food, onion rings no good. Server was fine.

We found a black hair in our food and told one of the servers. It was clearly a short, thick strand of a mans hair, definitely not a shrimps whisker, as all of us have long hair. When we first pointed it out to the server, they responded with indifference, simply saying they didn t know what it was. The manager wasnt any better he just asked if we wanted a new dish or a discount. No apology, no concern nothing. If youre thinking about coming here, be warned: they will likely dismiss your concerns and treat you like youre overreacting if you find something as disgusting as a hair in your meal.

The service and ambiance was above average. However, the cajun seafood was super nice! This has to be the best cajun seafood that Ive ever had. We ordered the kickin combo deal #3 spicy level for a family of 4 and we had the best time ever. Their clams and headless shrimps were big and juicy and their snow crab legs were excellent! We tried out the Kickin Crab for the first time yesterday and was not at all displeased. If you want some good seafood with a variety, you have to check them out. Even though we went for the seafood, I loved the sausage lol. For the 2 of us our bill was $102 which $80 was for the food but it was worth every dollar. We got 2 lbs of the shrimp with their heads off but we didn t know they were going to be jumbo shrimps. We also tried the Kickin Wings and they were pretty good.

My family and I drive down to Carrollton from Oklahoma to eat at this establishment! This is by far the best place to dine in if you want good seafood! The Kickin Style seasoning and sauce blended with the crab and shrimp in the bag is very delicious! It is unfortunately that in this Restaurant they fraud you, I paid a total of $106.78 in this amount, the Tip was already included and then the waitress gave me another different ticket, in the other ticket it stated that the total amount had been 106.78 and they wanted me to leave (another time 18%) of the amount of 106.78 in total you are paying approximately $130 the waitress only gives one ticket so that you cannot see that on the first ticket you had already paid 18% unfortunately I do not know how many families they have done This same fraud, these people... There is nothing better than a seafood boil! This place does it the best way so far short of me doing one in my backyard. The crab legs, shrimp, mussels, and potatoes with corn were all delicious! I felt so full I almost needed to be rolled out. The seasoning was perfect with a little spice (we had the house favorite). The drink variety is pretty good and the service had spots but who notices with all the good food. Give Kickin Crab a try.

First time visiting here and it was phenomenal! I have tried several Cajun seafood spots in DFW and have to say this is the best place hands down! We ordered the Kickin Combo Deal #1 with Kickin Style Seasoning. We requested Spicy for the spice level in the bag and asked for Spicy Spicy to dip (this level is made with ghost pepper so I didn t want it drenched in my food). I downed so many glasses of water but would do it all over again because it was worth it. The boiled shrimp was exquisite and would definitely order extra next time. I wish I had visited during crawfish season because I m sure it would ve been top notch. I am from Houston and have high standards for Cajun-style seafood so I m so happy there is a spot like this nearby!

I have patronized this establishment since before Covid, but today I was extremely disappointed in the customer service my friend received. We ordered online, and because they don t deliver I had to pick up our orders and take them home (Lewisville) . By the time my friend arrived at my house it was an hour after the order was picked up. Upon opening the bag she noticed half of her order (1/2 lb shrimp) was not there. We called to tell them, and a kind worker by the name of Hannah politely tried to rectify the situation by telling us she could pick up a full pound tomorrow since we had already started eating. We were happy with the service until they called back within 2 minutes of hanging up. This time it was a man who said his name was Tom. He tried to tell us there was nothing they could do unless we drove back to show them the bag as basically proof that they did not include the shrimp. Wild! When I asked him to tell us his manager s name he beat around the bush. I had to ask for his manager s name 4 times! Finally, he spelled out K.R.I. Before getting off the phone I reminded him about the resolution Hannah suggested to which he agreed to. So it left us wondering, what was the point of the callback and giving us the runaround if you re just going to agree with what Hannah said in the first place. Lastly, I also informed him that I would hate to write a review because I patronize them on a regular. His response was verbatim, Do whatever you have to do, so here it is!!! GROSSLY DISAPPOINTED!!!

This rude waiter waited until we were comfortably seated only to tell us that he wants to move us to the back of the restaurant because he wants to cater to a bigger party . This place showed horrible customer service and we will never go there again. Not worth the money. We didn t even get to enjoy a nice lunch. Horrible place I wouldn t recommend anyone to go there. The waiter is the guy in the first photo.

I love seafood!! I placed an order for snow crabs, corn, and potatoes (no sausage, allergic) garlic butter. I received sausage in my boil, I explained that Im allergic and couldnt eat it. Someone in Mt party observed the cook remove the sausage and attempted to re-serve it. I had a fit and requested a new bag without butter to ensure I wasnt getting sausage juice.

My recent visit to Kickin Crab with my family was an utter disaster. Despite arriving just seven minutes before their scheduled closing time, we were met with a disappointing revelation: the staff informed us that they were closed. The fact that the doors were unlocked and the lights were still on gave us a glimmer of hope, but it was quickly shattered by their cold refusal to serve us. Their lack of empathy and rudeness, coupled with their apparent prioritization of closing early over customer satisfaction, left us feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. This experience, along with their overall lack of professionalism, makes it impossible for me to recommend Kickin Crab to anyone. They need to seriously consider their approach and make the necessary changes to ensure that others do not have to endure the disappointment that my family and I experienced.

Flavorful food. Originally went for the clams but was told that it was sold out. This was at 630pm. Didnt see anyone else with clams on the table. Went with several other items. Food came out pretty fast, service was good as well as the food. Finding parking around the rush hour was a little challenging. Parking: Will need to spin around couple times to find parking during rush hour.

I have been to hot and juicy crawfish in Vegas as well as NY. This place is bubbling with energy and the food is good, the only little piece for me is if they can make sure the spice little bit seeps into the crabs , shrimp etc. Pressure cook or crack little or other techniques as the sauce is amazing, we went with the kickin sauce. Surely will come back again.

Got the kickin mild combo shrimp special (head on), clam chowder, and garlic noodles. Not a big fan of shrimp in general but my gf wanted to eat here so I had to eat it as well. It was good, and was very flavorful once you peel the shrimp and dump them back into the sauce. The garlic noodles were awesome, highly recommended. Clam chowder tasted like it came out of a can. Great service and attentive staff. Promptly seated around 1pm on Saturday. Food came out swiftly. Had a great experience.

Never got a chance to eat. Our party of 7 checked in for wait-list and was told 10 minutes. We waited for almost 1 hour and never got a seat. Witness several parties getting seated before us. When asked why we were still not seated they claimed those people were checked in before us, however their tablet displays the list and weve been at the top for 40 minutes AND told by staff members multiple times we were next. They never offered for our party to split. Frustrating since we saw several empty tables that couldve been pushed together.

Delicious seafood in a scrumptious sauce! Get the snow crab combo, garlic noodles, or whatever you fancy! Just make sure you ask for Kickin style! So much flavor. They were supper busy, and we still had good service. Zero complaints here. Plus the plaza its in has tons of other spots to shop, grab dessert, or a snack for later.
