A charming place on the banks of the River, an ideal place for strolling, walking and renting various equipment to navigate the river. On this day I went to watch the fireworks display to celebrate the 4th of July, it was excellent.

Sand Beach Park is a beautiful and peaceful spot to spend a day at the beach. The sand is soft and white, and the water is crystal clear. The park offers plenty of amenities, including showers, restrooms, and picnic tables. The park staff keeps the beach and facilities clean and well-maintained. The lifeguards are also very attentive and make sure everyone is safe. The park is also great for families as it has playground and a concession stand. The only downside is that it can get very crowded on weekends. Overall, Sand Beach Park is a great place to enjoy a day in the sun and surf.

We did a 3.7 mine run at this gorgeous set up of a park. The river the trail. The people is Austin. My wife and I enjoyed the two days we had in Austin. We will be back to paddle board and run the river again. Well yall come back but ya hear,!

I love the artwork and closeness to the library. Id give it 5 stars except I feel a bit trapped between the condos and the traffic of Cesar Chavez. It is cute and well maintained. Oh, and you can easily walk to the Butler Hike and Bike Trail.
