There are several activities to do at the park. There is swimming, soccer, basketball courts, and even a little homestead to explore. The park is always filled with community members having a good time, playing together, or reflecting on their day in the quiet partz. The park is dog friendly, kid friendly, mostly accessible by smooth trails but there are areas that have stairs which require someone with limited mobility to seek another route. A guaranteed enjoyable time when at Katherine Fleischer Park.

This is my favorite park out of every park I ve been to in Austin. It s nice, actually full of nature. Has multiple fields, a little hiking trail with a dog park, butterfly garden and more. It s so beautiful. Also I found grapes! Playground: Very nice and big, has a net protecting kids from the balls that may fly from the open field nearby. Toilets: Nice and clean Dog-friendliness: Lots of fields, and back in the little trail there s a free range dog park. Picnic area: Very nice, always clean, and in private areas

The female lifeguard that greeted us was very nice. Unfortunately, the male teenage lifeguards are rude and bark at the children. The pool was fairly empty and one lifeguard told the kids they could swim in the deep end, but they would need to get out if someone wanted to dive. Soon after one the other lifeguards came over and barked at the four kids in the deep end, Get Out. Im diving. Later, after everyone was finished diving, the kids asked if they could go back in the deep end and the same lifeguard said no... for no reason, given it was empty. They constantly yell at the kids walk, and get frustrated when they dont hear them. Maybe turn down the loud music?!?! It cost $10 each to get in. Please consider hiring lifeguards that enjoy their job and arent rude.

The playground is great. Plenty of shade. A little of everything for kiddos. The pool not so much. We went one day and were charged $10. The very next day we were charged $20. I cant think of any neighborhood pool worth a $20 admission fee. And where is that money going? You can see that the pool is old and needs a face-lift. Thats my 2 cents.

This is a great park with playgrounds, a huge playhouse and big park to run in. The best part is all the big trees that shade the whole park! Even in the Austin summer heat, it didnt feel bad! Not all parks offer this, so its a huge plus! My 6 year old loved exploring the unique playhouse and running a lap around the field. We saw many kids with bikes going along the trail around the park. Definitely a great choice for any park day!

If youre looking for a park to hang out at and maybe take a dip in a pool, this is a great place! ($5 per person emission price for the pool, unsure if theres a discount or free entry for the younger ones) Playground: Some cool features, multiple playgrounds multiple slides, swings for all ages, and a really neat wooden (safe, I promise, my 18 year old self made it up and down the cramped space) playground structure with stairs and windows to look out of!
